A lot has…read morebeen going on in my life, but I wanted to get rid of some of the drafts started on Yelp...along with photos.* My wife had wanted to get her eyebrows done, but many of the place we saw were just to high in price, or not to my wife's liking. We found this place and decided to try it out. I noticed that the technician used the string in her mouth. Other places I have visited no longer keep string in their mouths, but around their necks. Nevertheless, while watching my wife get her eyebrows done, the female technician worked fast and efficiently. The shop wasn't very busy, so we didn't have to wait long. I am glad we found this place. I am sure we will come back here again.

At times when she takes a vacation and I end up going elsewhere they always mess up my brows. Like this one time she went away for a month and I found this supposed "eyebrow guru" in G-town to do my brows. Now obviously I assumed that by the self given nickname this said guru would know what they are doing. Long story short, I left there missing half of one eye brow. Lesson learned! Even when Lata is away on vacation I try to "clean" my eyebrows myself but won't let anyone else touch them. I promise you won't regret going to her.

I never had the same consistent, clean and shaped brows. Lata has the skill that most beauticians lack because she only uses thread to clean and shape. Scissors are used to even out the top of the brows, only if necessary. I've noticed that the threaders without a lot of skill use a tweezer to get the shape that they can't achieve with the thread (not the point of threading). When my brows are done by Lata, my face looks a little fresher and more defined. My husband notices each time : )

When we got there, there was one employee at the salon. When we asked for her she told me the person to help me was busy and I would have to wait but that I could shop from the few models on display. When I specified I needed help picking out the appropriate outfits for each event she was annoyed that I didn't know exactly what we wanted. After waiting over 20 minutes we just left and headed to Tyson's in hopes of better service.

That's far from true. They want me to pay full price for a fix up. And I repeatedly said it at the salon that I do not like the outcome. You guys kept saying no you will like it and it will lighten up. My previous highlights and this new work is not cohesive there is a huge difference between it. I had a consultation with you guys on my first appointment and you guys relaid to me that the work could be achieved and I will have a blended look. I made my point clear I want for the work to be noticeable. I do not want subtle look. I showed reference pictures multiple times. I would need to go to someone else to fix the issue which will be a corrective work costing even more than what it would have if you guys didn't mess up the hair. I try to resolve this very nicely with you guys. But you guys do not want to take any responsibility. You're gaslighting me to my face. I am so disappointed with them. I went in to get my hair highlighted to match my previous highlight that has grown out. I had a consultation with them 3 weeks prior to the appointment. Went in the day of and showed them the reference photo and explained to Sora that I want to get less damage as possible and showed the reference picture again. She said she can achieve the look by doing a "color" highlight. Even though room the first consult I was told that it wouldn't it be achieved without using bleach and I said yes that is fine. But when Sora the stylist said she will be achieving the look with minimal damage by using the color bleach I said ok you know best because your the hair stylist. She finished the work by basically doing nothing to my hair. The contrast on my from the perevious color was very visible and the looks worst then before. Then I asked for fixing it they said they will charge me all over for a fix up. I said no I am not paying anything else since I paid $220 already. They refused to fix it or refund anything. I am sooo disappointed at them.
