On top of that, the work was messy--uneven shaping, polish where it shouldn't have been, and an overall finish that looked far from professional. What made it even more frustrating was the price. I paid a premium expecting exceptional results, but the final outcome didn't come close to justifying the cost. Instead of leaving excited about my nails, I left wishing I had gone somewhere else. If you're going to market yourself as a destination for unique, high-end nail art, your quality and attention to detail should reflect that. They take appointments but run consistently late so reserving your time with an appointment means nothing. Danny tries and is so friendly but he's always overwhelmed. He mans the front desk, books appointments and takes frequent breaks to run to the laundromat a few doors down to wash his towels. The salon is dusty and depressing and my last appointment took three hours for a mani/pedi. There is only one other employee besides Danny, and some days his mom helps out. Sweet woman but she's slower than molasses and frequently drops the instruments on the floor and doesn't clean them off. Time for a change.

We were lucky enough to find Vogue Salon and specifically Rachel and Katie. They were so sweet and most importantly provided great service. We were looking fabulous when we walked out the door and the best news is, they continue, 10 days later, to be perfect. We sure wish we lived anywhere in the state of Michigan because we would drive to get our haircuts with them.
