The most amazing salon ever. I've been going here to get haircuts and a keratin treatment since last summer. Last month, I gave her a call to see if I could get a cut and hair treatment in short notice. My hair had become very damaged after dying it at a different salon. She knew that I was coming from a farther distance and found time to squeeze me in on a day where she didn't normally open. Spring helped me figure out treatment options. Love this salon that just opened! Ambiance is awesome. I can see how it was carefully planned as far as its setting, the lights, equipment, wall color, etc. Spacious, clean, and serene. Looking at the place, they have a space for hair, facial, and I believe scalp massage, and other things. And there's plenty of parking to boot. Summer, one of the owners, has always been my go-to for nails. I've known her for years. She's very thorough and careful at what she does. Every time, I would always feel clean after a mani and pedi. I got a regular mani/pedi done about 2 weeks ago. The nail polish they used had lasted me for 1 1/2 weeks with little chipping. I'm quite happy. Normally, with other brands used at other salons, they'd chip after 3 days, since I wash my hands quite often. As far as cost, it's a little bit pricey but what you get and where it's at, it's worth it!!! I recommend this place if you live near/around the area. read more

Wow. I've always wanted to do some type of straightening treatment on my naturally frizzy unruly hair. I was recommended a keratin treatment at SH Hair Spa and I'm overwhelmed with how amazing it looks. Hanie took so much time and precision and Summer treated it after the three day wait period and it's well worth every penny spent. I love it so much! Another unrelated thing I love about this place is it's very comfortable. Spring is the salon owner, friendly, and very experienced with hair. I came in for a consultation a few days prior to my appointment and later changed my mind about the color, but she accommodated. I have naturally very dark, straight hair that was previously highlighted in different colors and grew out/faded. Spring fixed it by doing the red and blonde highlights first, then, dyed the remaining strands with a dark brown to cover the previous color. My mom and I love our new hair done by Summer!! I was getting bored of my long single-toned brown hair, but she did an excellent job with my partial highlights, it makes me feel brand new! For a curly girl like me who already has pretty dry hair, it's been awhile since I've found a hairstylist whom I could trust to prevent any further damage. Summer really took the time to carefully bleach and very kindly did an extra hydrating treatment as a bonus. Additionally, my curls were feeling too heavy at the bottom so she also cut and layered my hair into a cute new shape, my curls look more lively (especially my bangs which I'm often very nervous to trim because it never ends up being the right length but she did it perfectly!) I got a haircut and wash by Spring. They picked up immediately when I called and scheduling was easy. I have long, thick, straight southeast Asian hair, and I was nervous to let a new hair stylist cut it. I like a straight across look and it looked bushy as hell the last time I got it cut. Spring was able to achieve a soft, natural look, without compromising any length! Amazing!!!! She listened to what I wanted and confirmed we were on the same page before cutting my hair, and made sure we were in sync til the very end. She also explained what technique she was using and showed me why it was effective in achieving the look I wanted. It's clear that she knows what she's doing! The wash felt great, very relaxing. She used all organic and vegan products. My favorite was the mint product she used, my whole scalp was tingling minty fresh lol. I loved that she told me using Olaplex was a waste of money, specifically cause my hair is healthy enough that it's not needed (she said it's worth it if your hair needs it). She gave me her recs for services, but did not pressure me one bit to do anything. I'm confident she tells her clients what is best for them, instead of trying to take as much money from them as possible! The salon is very clean, and I love the modern look. I felt extremely comfortable in there. I could write another essay on the uplifting and heart warming conversation that we had, but I'll keep the review about hair hahaha! I recommend getting a haircut from Spring! I recently got my first haircut from her. She was so sweet and squeezed me into her schedule when I called to try to make a same day appointment. I am so excited that i found someone new and appreciates the art of cutting hair. She cut my hair exactly how I envisioned it. I showed her my hair inspo and let her know what I was looking for. I asked to cut off 4inches, long layers, face framing, and short curtain bangs. It took about 30-40 minutes. She showed me different ways I can style my hair and gave me advice on products I can use for my dry wavy hair. It has been a few days and I'm so obsessed with my hair. It flows well and my hair feels and looks more voluminous. She made it easy for me to style my hair. My past haircuts had made my hair flat, dry, and heavy. Salon by Spring is one of the best places--if not the best--I ever got my hair cut, colored, and styled. All of the stylists were friendly, and from the way the stylists interacted with their clients, the other clients seemed happy with them. A very friendly place. Spring herself did my hair. She was friendly and consulted with me about what I wanted. I told her I wanted layers and something easy to manage, and she was clear that a straight cut would be easier to manage than layers. I don't like spending a lot of time with my hair. However, I opted for layers, which was a great decision. I wasn't very decisive about what I wanted exactly and showed her pictures many different styles that varied. Spring took the time to explain what she thought would look best. I had gray roots, but she didn't push coloring on me. I did want a color but forgot to tell her before she shampooed my hair. Spring took the time and blow-dried my hair after she cut it so that she could give me color. This gave her the opportunity to show me how my hair would look without it being styled. It looked great. Every step of the way, she explained what she was doing. She was very skilled and checked to see if the sides were periodically as she cut. I had used boxed color to touch up my roots for many years, which left the front part of my head (I only did the roots I could see) lighter than the back. Sprint suggested that I match the color to my original color. Medium brown was the perfect color, and my hair, which can get frizzy, came out smooth. While Spring was rinsing the color out of my hair, she massaged my head. it was one of the best shampoo massages I ever had. After the color, Spring suggested that I use some oil and leave-in conditioner on my hair but did NOT push any products on me. However, because of her knowledge and the results, I probably would have bought some products. I loved that Spring didn't push anything on me. She styled my hair beautifully, and I felt like I looked younger and more alive. My hair hasn't looked this great since I had a pixie cut. It's now a bob between my shoulders and chin, and I love the length. It frames my face perfectly (I started with a length below my shoulders), and my face no longer looks too long. The price was great. I believe the color was $80, but I didn't ask how much the cut was. The total came out to be $112 plus change before tip and the $3 service charge for using a credit card, a great price for what I got. Before this cut, I had splurged on a $250 haircut That didn't come out as good as Spring's cut. I gave her a $20 tip but would've given her $50 if I could afford it. Spring is extremely talented, really knows how to cut hair, and asks if you are okay with what she is doing before she cuts it off. She also explained how it would look a bit shorter when my hair dried. She is also very nice and pleasant. She talked with me but not too much. I'm not A big fan of chatty stylists until I get comfortable with them. I felt comfortable with Spring from the start though. I haven't found a stylist who I was comfortable with since I had a pixie. I will definitely go back to Spring many times over. Salon by Spring is the best place ever. read more
