What can I say but wow! I had a crazy day scheduled but was in dire need of a pedicure. I called last minute and the receptionist Bianca was so pleasant and was able to fit me into the schedule! I told her I was pressed on time and when I arrived my technician Karina was seated ready to go with my pedicure running hot and all, I was definitely impressed! All of the staff had on masks and you could definitely tell they followed cleaning protocols. While I picked out my color the receptionist Bianca brought me a cup of fresh French vanilla coffee.I was talking about my hectic schedule and another employee Ruth I believe, overheard and offered to pick up my Starbucks order! What a sweetheart! And the icing on the cake the massage specialist offered me a free hand massage while going over a killer ($40) massage special!I honestly have had the best start to my day when I was feeling so stressed and I cannot believe this salon experience! Another salon with an inexperienced stylist managed to dye my hair gray and reddish and purple... even though I asked for a warm, natural blonde that matched my root. I have a business trip in a few days and was absolutely in a panic. Toni, the owner, responded to my message right away, and they scheduled me faster than any other salon could. Kimberly took time to talk to me and hear out my concerns, what my goals were, and laid out realistic expectations about the limits of what could/could not be done. She took my hair from a 0 to a 10. She explained everything as she did it and was open to my ideas and explained why certain things would/would not work and put my mind at ease. She was so kind and so patient and SO SKILLFUL. My hair looks almost completely natural and it's beautiful! You can't even tell that there was ever a disaster just a few days ago. Can't say enough great things about this salon!! Been coming here for the past year once my hair started growing back from chemotherapy and every cut has been amazing & made me feel more beautiful than ever! I first came in November of 2019 with a head full of grey chemo curls and now a year later, I have a pretty blonde bob! I'm so grateful to Kim who has transformed my hair throughout this process and has made the journey to feeling like a woman again fun! It was my first time at this salon And it's right by my house. I'm actually mad I didn't find this place before!!! The staff here is so nice and accommodating. I didn't have an appointment but I was still taken in. I was even offered refreshments. The hair stylist that cut my hair was knowledgeable and so sweet. He did a dry curly cut and added layers. He framed it for my face so well. Afterwards, he washed my hair, gave me a scalp massage and added a deep conditioning treatment to help with the damage. First stylist ever, to do exactly what I asked for and he was able to get rid of my dead ends from damage while still keeping the length as I wished for. Salon Dahlia is great place for your beauty needs. I have been coming here for years and I have had many different services. Most recently I had a color and cut from Francis. She is a real pro. My hair came out gorgeous. They also have great nail technicians. I usually get a gel mani and a regular pedi. A massage therapist was recently added to the staff and she was fantastic. I had a 50 min Swedish massage. This is a great little salon everyone is really friendly and takes great care of you from making your appointment to checking out. Truly one of the best nail appointments I've ever had! Angie is incredible. I came in for a gel pedicure and let her know that my nails had been damaged by a previous salon nail tech who had too much fun with an electric file, and Angie fixed me right up!!! She is gentle, kind, and skilled, she cut out a painful ingrown with care, and my toenails look great. She clearly cares about your comfort and the health of your nails, and she's never rushed. Fantastic place. I had some free time while my partner was at a trade show. I texted Toni with short (no?) notice, but she organized a cut, colour, manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax within the hour. Kim (hair and eyebrows) and Quinn (nails) were wonderful, genuine, and super talented. They made my rare beauty salon experience really special. I was even served coffee and a Mimosa (which were both awesome), making my time in the salon even better. By the time I walked out, I felt like a new woman. I scheduled an appointment with Roselanda for a massage after a particularly long week. When I got to the salon, I was greeted by the owner and taken back into the massage room. Roselanda asked me questions to see what type of massage would best suit me and in a few moments I was on cloud nine! I felt so relaxed and my muscles were so loose after my appointment. Toni, the business owner is great! She's super efficient. She also always makes sure to give the clients little gifts whether it's a complementary tweezer (they're adorable btw!), scented hand creams, hand sanitizer, or collagen gloves. For nails, I'd highly recommend Angi for mani/pedi. She's great and fast. Always does a great job!!! I'm satisfied every time and I go 2-3x/month. Karina is also very good. Man, I gotta tell you. This place is great. I've been here twice now. On my last work trip, I needed a rest and got a massage from a young lady named Rose. She was extremely professional, friendly, and gave me the best massage i've ever received! Super relaxing. I came back for a makeup service for a work meeting and she killed it! Amazing service! Toni and her team are absolutely incredible. I have been going to Salon Dahlia for about 5 years.
