I went in on the 31st. I normally go to Sandy's on Irvington but they had a mega long wait and I have seen this place when I had gone to the grocery store so I decided to try it. Posting this review to share my experience as a potential customer. I went go this place to get my lashes done, I usually ask what glue they will be using as I have had an allergic reaction to certain glues in the past. Once I ask to see the glue they will be using the worker got somewhat defensive and said she doesn't buy the glue that her boss buys the glue and so she cannot show me the glue she uses. Very sketchy and unsettling to not know what will be used on my eyes. She had already sat me down to try to start her work, she said I just work here. Walked away and came back with a pen and waiver, asked me to sign my right to ask for a refund, credit, or right to sue. The fact that it was all in English in a Spanish speaking area with no translation is very concerning! Rather be safe than sorry read more

Wow - they are very nice and patient. They did my brows and my sisters brows so nice and beautifully. But do make sure you communicate with them directly on what you want. I like my brows thick and just shaped - I made sure to tell them that and they did it like I asked :). Threading for the win! read more

Worst place to get your eye brows done just walked out with half an eye brow this is the second time the same lady messes up my eye brows last time I let it go because i thought she was new but no way she totally did an awful job and I still had to pay. I give 5 stars .. all i have to say is that ANA was super gentle and helpful.. i chose to get a simple cleanup on my eyebrows with tread ... and she took her time with me.. she was really sweet and welcoming.. her customer service was a 100! I went here during the week and 2 women were just leaving when I arrived. I was in and out in less than 20 min, probably 15. I took the time to tell the woman helping me exactly what I wanted and how I liked my brows long and as thick as possible. She took her time and explained everything as she went along. She even stopped after doing one brow to double check and confirm that I liked the way it looked or did I went it thinner. Most places are lazy, sloppy and in rush, not here! The customer service was amazing, it was only $8 for brows and they sell their own homemade brow growth serum. I bought it as it was only $5 and was a good enough size for me. I also loved how I asked the woman if they did tinting and even though she said yes, she also told me I didn't need it and she wouldn't want me to waste my money having it done. That was awesome and further illustrated great customer service! This is what you call being ethical and honest! I've lived in NYC for 6yrs, L.A. for close to 8yrs and was born and raised in Houston and go back and forth for the holidays for the past 15yrs. That being said, the last time I had my brows done this well was at least 11yrs ago or more in NYC. Even back then it cost about $20 in Manhattan without a tip! When here by mistake. Wow it was a great mistake. The lady inside said eyebrows, I was like shit way not am already here. Now been to benefits brow contour, Nordstrom and a few places in the heights. Don't get me work they do great work. However my brows have never looked this good. I was more shocked that the price was so cheap. For the work and time she puts in. She really listened to what I wanted. Gave tips and I really felt like I was in a high end place. Not because of the looks but of the care and work! read more
