I went to get my eyebrows threaded yesterday and I left a google review yesterday and they deleted my review really shows their professionalism in not acknowledging my disappointment in service. Anyways, when I first went there I was extremely satisfied which is why I went the second time. I went with a different lady and the first thing i mentioned to her before she started was that I want it as natural as possible because I am a guy I like the beginning of my eyebrows to be bushy and the rest cleaned up she ended up cutting them with the scissors and tried gaslighting me that my eyebrows were still kind of long I know the length of my eyebrows and she tried to make it better but you can't go back from that she cut them. Not much to look at from the outside - basic little strip with not a lot of parking - but stop inside and it's clean and welcoming. They have chairs for eyebrows, etc. and then a few rooms for waxing, etc. Honestly, I stumbled in here because it came up on a google search when I moved to Houston. Eyebrow lamination made my eyebrows brittle and now they are falling out... I am 2months from my wedding so this is pretty devastating. Threading services have been good but I don't understand why provide lamination services if it's not safe. I've had my eyebrows laminated twice at other places and never had an issue. I came here for an eyebrow thread and tint ,This place will over thread your eyebrows into thin lines, they are careless and rough . The girl who did my eyebrows never used any aloe Vera for the soothing after threading she immediately smeared a heavy layer of tint over my eyebrows which was uncomfortable. She did not scold or lecture me...she simply put an action plan in place. she recommended oils for growth and told me which areas I should touch and which ones I should leave alone. I have thick and dark brows as well as a unibrow. I can't say how happy I am with my brows today. SO HAPPY Also, I didn't realize that Sandy was Sandy, and I honestly tried to wait for KiKi instead of seeing Sandy because I trusted Kiki. This person looked disheveled and her own eyebrows did not look well kept. I have her a chance and ultimately asked for a clean up and ended up with her doing my brows. I like when the eyebrow threader makes me feel comfortable to where their skills exude confidence - that was not the energy I got. For 12.00 this is not a deal. I've heard great things about this place, but I've been disappointed both times I've gone. Sandy never seems to be there, so I always get the girl that works there. The first time I went, she threaded my eyebrows, but they were crooked and thin. I also asked her for tinting, and she applied a REALLY LIGHT BROWN, even though my hair is black. The tinting looked ridiculous, you could clearly see where the tint and my eyebrows separated. The second time I went, which was today, she also left them crooked, even after telling her I wanted them thick. One side is thicker than the other, and the arch on one side is much more pointy than the other. Honestly, REALLY disappointed. I usually go to another place called FACES BY SUMIYA. She's located in greenspoint, and she has another location in cypress wood. I should've gone there instead of here, even if it meant traveling a little farther. read more

My eyebrows were in desperate need of some TLC - especially before going to a concert where I knew I'd be taking selfies. This was the only place nearby our Airbnb that accepted walk-ins so, I decided to take the chance. The location is in the "rougher" area of Houston. It's also pretty easy to miss so look out for the spa posters covering the windows. The inside is very clean but also pretty bare. It was a little awkward sitting there in complete silence at times when the music cut out for long periods of time. I was there waiting for about 40 minutes and there was a stream of other women coming in after me. I'd recommend to make an appointment if you are on a time crunch. Sandy was super sweet and takes the time to listen to what you want. The price of $10 for an eyebrow threading was also a big plus. She is now my go-to girl every time I visit Houston and need my eyebrows SLAYED. read more

I can't keep track of how many times/occasions i've gotten my brows threaded at this establishment, most of the time the experience was pleasant from the work & the staff. Recently though, for the last 2 visits the lady at the front (always) took care of my brows & the whole process was painful. I had to break & calm myself for a few seconds because it hurt so bad, i heard the thread broke twice considering i have a high tolerance thats still unacceptable. My husband noticed the lids were super red right after & that there was still extra hair closer to the lashes. You can see at the end of the day my lids still red & visible scars from where the hair pulled out. Im very disappointed, ive had her service before a few times & never it'd gotten this bad. However, ive once come in with the need of a face wax & the lady always does wax in the rooms was phenomenal. I'm definitely requesting her next time. read more

I'm really not picky about my eyebrows at all. I get my eyebrows done maybe every 1-4 months. Just when they become unbearable to look at. So I won't really review my outcome but the place in general. Honestly, I can do my eyebrows anywhere and be happy with the results because it always looks 10xs better than when I came in . It's $10 for eyebrow threading and they charge some $1 fee when using their system. So you're looking at paying $11. They are super busy on Saturdays. Especially in the morning. I went in around 11 they had me write my name, number, and what I wanted down. I l decided to wait in my car and they would call me. I waited roughly 25-30 minutes. Just when I was ready to leave I was next up in line. If you're Covid conscious beware. They do not wear masks despite being up close to your face. And one of the ladies was coughing into the back of her hand while doing the threading job. So if you're sensitive to those things I recommend staying away. If not come it takes maybe 5-7 minutes. They are a super popular place! It was super packed. All of the seats were taken and people were either standing or also waiting in their cars. Sandy does a great job however there a few things that I dislike about this business (specially during this pandemic)-that are making me reconsider visiting them again. 1. The staff does not disinfect the chairs in between customers. 2. They do not wear face masks and on top of that, they talk on the phone while threading your eyebrows. I felt saliva on my cheek :/ while she on the phone talking. 3. The place gets really crowded, with 10 or more people inside during busy hours. I LOVE SANDY and all of her team! They all do a fantastic job with eyebrow threading. I've been seeing Sandy for about 7 years and she's amazing. Now that she had other girls working as well, I do not mind having them do my eyebrows. Lately, Gigi has been doing my eyebrows and she's very careful and making sure my eyebrows keep the same shape. I do not like going on Saturday mornings because the wait is long, unless you come 30 mins early to be the first in line. Other then that you will be waiting.
