Such a cute little cafe. A little hidden, almost like tree house vibes. The staff was super nice & they can make a great coffee their menu is simple but very good

Very relaxing and chill place for your morning coffee! Highly recommended! Feels like a garden

This was the first time attending this outdoor resturant for jazz night. The location is right out side of the cadet hotel in miami Beach right by Lincoln road. The Cafe has a nice atmosphere with great decor. The menu is a bit small with only around 10 items. They have a great selection of cocktails and drinks. The vibe is more of a relaxing outdoor lounge where you can enjoy live jazz music while you sip in some drinks and have some finger foods.

Quaint, hidden away café not far from the bustling street Collins Ave. I especially love that you're surrounded by greenery, which is a perfect start to your day. I got a latte with almond milk and the homemade empanada. The latte was $7 which is a lot given the rather small size, but tasted fine. The empanada had a lot of flavor but was pretty burned on the bottom, perhaps from being reheated for too long. Otherwise, servers were friendly and it was a great place to have a relaxing start to my day.

Very cute decor in this coffee shop. Had a ham and cheese croissant and an iced latte. There was no other guests there so service was pretty quick. My latte was kinda meh so I probably wouldn't order it again. But I did enjoy my croissant. Overall decent place but nothing to write home about.

Beautiful environment, very laid back and calming. Lattes were about $12, so a little expensive but it was tasty and they tailored it to what I wanted. Waitress was very kind and helpful. Peaceful garden vibes.

    Enchanted green walkway.

Having come to Miami Beach for the art deco, my friend and I quickly became disappointed in the lack of corresponding ambiance. Yes, there were beautiful buildings, but the local businesses seemed all but oblivious to their charm, to the opportunity to create a special atmosphere; so many places were so much the same - similar menus (Cuban, Latin, Italian), so much grating, loud, frenetic music blasting into the street, upon on the dining tables, making conversation, contemplation, relaxation utterly impossible. Maybe we are the only two people who don't appreciate that bombardment upon the senses (what are the odds?), but we walked miles in search of something, anything, different. It was by beautiful happenstance that we passed this inviting, enchanting path into a secret garden oasis. The greenery, the Paris cafe decor, the gentler sophisticated music, the gorgeous welcoming woman whose demeanor reflected the blend of peace and whimsy that infused the space - THIS is what we'd been seeking! Even better when our coffee was brought out in a darling deco pot, served with a couple of mini anise biscottis. Peering into the connected Cadet Hotel, we glimpsed a charmingly corresponding bar and lobby, dominated by Clark Gable memorabilia. Had we known of this place there's every likelihood it's where we'd have booked our stay. As it is, it was a treat to bring ourselves to Salon du Cafe as often as we could, for coffee, treats, and blessed respite from a loud, chaotic, seemingly single-minded city.

Relaxing for everyone, including very well behaved hounds

I almost don't want to write this review because I'd love to keep this perfect little oasis to myself, but it's the season of giving so here you go... Salon du Cafe is a something out of a dream - you enter down a path of palms, feeling as if you've stumbled upon a secret garden. Then Charlie greets you as if he just happened to be waiting for you to stop by. The seats are all comfy, the coffee is spectacular, and of course, there are coffee cocktails, which are my favorite! Breakfast is also a scrumptious bit of heaven prepared by Chef Bruno who was kind enough to come out and greet my dog and share his Argentinian sausage source. I can't say enough about the ambiance, the people, the drinks, and the food except that we'll be back again tomorrow for more. Don't miss this little bit of magic in South Beach!

Nice ambiance, conveniently tucked away for a quiet morning coffee. Pleasant staff and not too crowded.

It is a small, quaint, calming, well lit, romantic environment with live jazz, and WONDERFUL AND FRIENDLY service (which I might add is rarity in Miami).

I was in the neighborhood to get a badly needed haircut while visiting from the Bay Area for work and next door on the corner on an otherwise unassuming street is this solid legit Cuban sammie and coffee place. Locals galore sitting outside sipping strong Cuban coffee and eating Sammie's and empanadas. Who am I to argue with the locals. They definitely steered me right on this one. The Cubano was stuffed with moist roasted pork and ham with pickles and melted cheese. The spicy garlicky green sauce that comes with it could make an old shoe delicious ! The coffee was spot on and that roasted pork and plantain empanada also hit the proverbial spot. All in with tax and tip for $25 I was stuffed full and now remarkably fluent in Spanish ! Located a couple of blocks off a major road (Washington Ave.), Las Olas Cafe felt like a hole-in-the wall neighborhood joint - a team of off-duty police officers were enjoying their dinner inside the restaurant, and families were eagerly lined up at the to-go window outside the restaurant. As I waited in line to order, I perused the menu, which included breakfast items, coffee, and a variety of sandwiches. Even though there were only a couple of customers ahead of me in line, each meal was made-to-order before the next order was taken. This meant that the staff prepared about half a dozen coffees, a couple of smoothies, and several meals before it was my turn to order. When I finally placed my order for a Cubano sandwich, I waited about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. My sandwich was served piping hot, and I eagerly took my food to go so I could enjoy it at the beach nearby. Despite the wait (about an hour from the time I arrived at the cafe despite the short line), my food was delicious. The sandwich was stuffed with crispy shredded pork and ham, and a generous amount of mustard, melted cheese, and pickles pulled it all together.

JK but our eyes really wanted to, especially when I laid eyes on the Nutella croissant section. From delicious paninozzo bello ripieno perfect to take to go and eat at the beach, to delicious pizzette e focaccia, Rosetta Bakery has everything you need for that sweet or savory tooth. We had the best breakfast, tipico Italiano, with nutella croissants, caffè macchiato e caffè, come in Italia. Everything is baked fresh, at the spot and you can see all the hard work through the little glass window. This place makes you feel good and it's food dopamine for your nose and eyes. Can't wait to come here again next time I'm in the area.

I especially like all the freshly baked smells coming from the active bakery onsite. Chocolate Cake: What can make chocolate cake even better? A nutella-like frosting! It really took this to a whole new indulgent level. Apricot Croissant: Why spread jam on your croissant when it comes pre-jammed? A nice amount of tangy apricot jam inside the flaky pastry. A great way to start the day. Pistachio Eclair: Normally I'm a chocolate frosting and vanilla custard guy, but they didn't have that combination. Was pleasantly surprised by the sweet pistachio cream, made it feel very European. Cannoli: A tiny little indulgence of dense sweet cheese inside a not-that-crispy-anymore shell. Potentially made awhile ago; wonder if a fresher one would have had a better crunch. I did like the candied orange peel at one of the ends. Mortadella Sandwich: A simple way to live up the olive roll. A few slices of mortadella to make it meaty and feel kinda fancy European. Ham & Sweet Baguette: Simple and easily transportable to the beach. The baguette tastes fresh, likely made onsite not that long before. It had a good chew. The ham and cheese are just enough protein to make it into a meal. Might have been even better with a little mustard. Mortadella, Cheese, Sun Dried Tomato Sandwich: A nice soft roll with lots of mortadella, some fresh mozzarella and heavy umami sundried (or slow baked?) tomatoes. The addition of those tomatoes really ratcheted up the flavor of the bread, meat, cheese.

It was seeing foods with deep roots across Palestinian, Levantine, and broader Arab culinary traditions presented under a national label that, to us, erases where much of that food and culinary heritage comes from. Menus aren't culturally neutral. How restaurants name and attribute food matters, especially when the people whose culinary traditions are being drawn from are experiencing profound suffering and displacement. The restaurant is free to make that choice, but as customers, we're equally free to decide that we won't financially support it. We took our business elsewhere.
