Cute brunch cafe that has a lot of options like pancakes, shakshuka, and pretty large salads. You order at the counter and they bring your food pretty quickly, maybe within 5-10 minutes. I got the tuna salad (like canned tuna that they add mayo too) for $15 and it was large, fresh, and pretty tasty: lots of lettuce, egg, avocado. I would give that a 4 out of 5. However, the iced matcha latte I got was pretty bad: it was maybe 95% milk and 5% matcha so it tasted like weirdly sweetened milk. I used to love coming to this coffee shop back when it was under different ownership/management, but my experience today was extremely disappointing. When I approached the cashier, he didn't acknowledge me or even say hello. I had to greet him first, and his response was a weak, unenthusiastic "hello" that felt dismissive and unwelcoming. That alone was off-putting, but unfortunately, the experience only got worse. While I stepped away to the restroom, my sister told me that another staff member dropped our coffee on the counter without a word, and the lid wasn't even on properly -- it spilled all over the counter. When she said "thank you," the employee just mumbled a half-hearted "you're welcome" and walked off. The complete lack of basic courtesy and professionalism was disappointing. Both my sister and I left feeling like we were being profiled because of our skin color. As former waitresses, we both understand what good customer service should look like and we always tip generously. But this was the first time I felt so disrespected that I did not leave a tip. It didn't take like a regular one but had a unique taste which was really good. I ordered the smoke salmon which came with a salad and they were good as well. Nice breakfast spot in Miami! Came in around 7:30 am on a Saturday and there was no line at all which was nice! Service is quick! They brought our food to our table in about 5 minutes. The shakshuka was delicious! It's very heavy on the tomato and has a bit of a heat to it, and oh so yummy! Loved it with the pita bread! The açaí bowl was also nice and sweet! I ordered a Cortada and she got right on it and it was in my hands within a minute or two. Amazing cortada. One of the better ones I've had in Miami. The atmosphere was nice and it was a great place to get away from the touristy Ocean Drive crowd, even if it was only a block away.
