My barber put me onto Sunnyside Café, and I'm thankful he did! After a fresh cut, I decided to walk over and grab breakfast. It was a cold morning (rare for Miami Beach), but even with the chill, I chose to sit outside since the inside was packed -- always a good sign. I ordered the eggs, potatoes, and turkey sausage, plus an extra side of eggs and more turkey sausage because, why not? Everything was cooked perfectly -- hearty, flavorful, and served hot. The espresso and coffee were both excellent too, strong and smooth without being bitter. What really stood out though was the service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, upbeat, and attentive without hovering. You can tell they care about their guests' experience. Simple, satisfying breakfast, great vibe, and top-tier service. Sunnyside Café easily earns a spot on my Miami Beach favorites list. This place was so accommodating when it came to finding us a table for 6 people in their outdoor patio. I am very grateful for that. I could see they would move the tables were others as well. We didn't have to wait to long for brunch on Saturday. The food and drinks were pretty too! The inside looked so cute but I appreciated the outdoors as well since the weather was just right. I had the eggs Benedict with pork and a side of potatoes. I also had a side of apple wood smoked bacon. The potatoes were cooked to perfection and the eggs Benedict sauce was really good. The pork pulled pork complimented it all. Soft and flavorful. The apple wood smoked bacon was crispy and delicious. I had a mimosa with it all in which was also a nice start to my day. Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. the whole vibe is chic boho and Instagram worthy. Everyone one's food that was coming out looked picture perfect. I got the carbonara omelette with a side of diced potatoes and the egg was incredibly fluffy, while the potatoes were the perfect mix of soft and crispy. I also tried my man's Carnitas Benedict, which had spicy mayo and pickled onions that added a really nice kick. We had mimosas too, from the pulp, I think maybe they use real orange juice, but the color was a bit neon which threw me off a little. The location makes it easy to get to, and there is available parking at Sunnyside as well as on the street. The vibe at Sunnyside has good energy, and immediately, we were feeling good! We requested seating outdoors and were able to pick a spot that we liked with lots of greenery! The white outdoor tables and chairs added to the charm of the place! I don't know if the juice was old or the champagne was old but these were probably the worst Bellinis I've ever had. My boyfriend had a cappuccino and my son had a cortadito. Visited Sunny Side Cafe based on other Yelp reviews and although it wasn't bad it's not somewhere I would frequent for full meals or a Bloody Mary, the service was great and perhaps they would be a good place to visit for coffee and croissants but if you are looking for a nice sit down brunch this would not be my first choice, as seating is very limited. The food we did have was as good and well made just wasn't knock your socks good as for the Bloody Mary I wouldn't bother definitely not their forté, stick to the coffee and perhaps juices! All in all would visit them again based on the service we received and would likely try the croissants, pancakes or French toast as this may be their niche. read more

Like a lot of places, it has an 18% automatic gratuity. Their menu consists of creative spin on the brunch staples. I enjoyed their Prosciutto Benedict. Instead of the regular Canadian bacon, this one had a lightly salty prosciutto, which blended nicely with the pesto on fluffy focaccia. The hollandaise was appropriately runny & eggs fluffy. Mixed with the hollandaise, the potatoes were actually tasty. For dessert, I enjoyed their fruit and mojito waffle. You don't really taste the rum, as it's more like a reduction with the flambeed bananas & fresh berries. The waffle was sizeable, and like my main course, decorated with a flower. The inside is a little smaller but most likely you would like to seat outside anyway. The decoration is pretty and gives a nice vibe. The food was great and I was really happy about the dish presentation, you can tell they put some thought on plating. They include beautiful edible flowers that make the difference.
