Went once (plus a return for a fix) and won't come back. Was unhappy with my hair color and had to come back for a fix. They were kind enough about the edit but you shouldn't have to in the first place. It's VERY VERY overpriced. And I'm coming from California so that mere thought should pucker your orifices. A salon this expensive should have a different experience, no matter what fancy products are used. Also, random side note: The owner(?) is incredibly talkative and nosy. Has a penchant and mild obsession over pregnant women. At first I thought he was being nice to my friend because she was carrying child but it border-lined inappropriate behavior. The reason I did the Brazilian blowout is because I wanted a straight hair without frizzy and waves but is still the same. I spend more than 400$ for nothing. The woman's name that served me is Reyna. She has not experience at all. I'm doing this review because the owner Dario ignored me when I called him to let him know that I was very dissatisfied and unhappy of my experience with Reyna. So happy I found this little gem. Was tired and fed up of going to the Asian nail shop/nail techs for them to continuously keep rushing, and damaging my natural nails with their nail drill. I got a pedi with regular nail polish, and dip manicure. My nail tech was so detail oriented, sanitized everything first, used a traditional nail file and listened to me. Dario is a gaslighting psychopath. I was new to the area and just came in for a simple trim and long layers and Abdul absolutely BOTCHED my long healthy hair. First off he gave me BANGS. I didn't ask for bangs. The layers he put in were so bad it looked like I had extensions that were too long for my natural hair. When I called to ask for a refund Dario was sooo nice and understanding (even tho he was being soo pushy trying to convince me to let them fix it, even though I said no like 6 times) and said he'd give me a refund but I just needed to come in with my card. BUT THEN when he found I booked somewhere to fix the monstrosity, he completely gaslit me and refused to refund me. Dario is the pushiest most annoying business owner I have ever met. He was trying to upsell me my entire appointment when all I wanted was to just relax and get my hair done. Now I'm out $85 with half of my hair chopped. read more

So, on their website they promote spa packages. So I came in for a spa day for my anniversary day and I was actually very excited about it. I really wanted to love it but... we started off with an hour full body massage, Mrs Jamie is sweet but she basically just caressed my body when I actually asked for deep tissue, she said that she was trying to do the best she could.. bless her heart. Then, I went ahead and order from their lunch menu and asked for a salad.. then I went into the facial room which I loved!! It put me on cloud 9. See, that one I totally recommend now as a side note, I was starving since I hadn't had breakfast, well after my facial they pointed a little room were my food was awaiting and as I was eating I noticed a long blonde piece of hair. I felt disgusted. No more for me.. eww!! The place is pretty much run down and filthy.. I felt gross in my throat after seeing that. Then after that, pedicure & manicure which was mediocre, no offense to the lovely Cuban lady, they have outdated materials... no, no, no... all that for a lovely total of $270 sumething dollars. This one is a once and done. The manager is very annoying .. and apparently tries to make you feel happy all the time. I did tell him about the hair found in food and he apologized for it. I have been coming here for over a year now. Location is amazing and most importantly the service is great. I wear a hijab and the owner and my stylist, Anita, are always concerned for my privacy. They put up a screen during the service. Recently, I had the Brazilian blow dry treatment done and color. Anita listened to my hair concerns of extreme hair dryness and increasing gray, with a requirement to have a low maintenance solution. She suggested two treatments: Brazilian blow dry and spaced highlights. I LOVE the results! My hair is soft again, like during my teens/early twenties, and the highlights have camouflaged my gray. Additionally, Anita cut and styled my girls' hair: 5 and 11 years old. Both felt so special for the adult like experience. I am a return client for Anita. read more

They have great stylists, but the owner, Dario, is very disrespectful. I had booked a reservation online multiple times with the appointment time being changed without my knowledge. He also talks about politics and religion with clients and I was extremely offended when he spoke bad about my church Sugar Creek Baptist church. I also overheard him tell my stylist that my hair took to long to blow dry which I'm African American and it takes my stylist about 25 minutes to blow dry and flat iron I wouldn't classify that as a long time. read more

I had a pedicure, hair cut, and Brazilian blowout at Salon Eben today. It was my first time going here but definitely won't be my last! The staff is unbeatably friendly, the service is great, and the results were perfect! The owner, Dario, is one of the nicest people I've met so far! My pedicure was phenomenal! It was very relaxing and my toenails look perfect. The girl who did it (I can't remember her name) did a thorough job and didn't seem rushed at all. Usually they're eager to get done with you so they can move onto the next person, but she wasn't like that at all. It was really great! While I was having my pedi I was explaining to her that I got my hair cut at a different salon last weekend at the recommendation of a co-worker but I wasn't happy with the cut or color at all. A stylist was nearby and overheard so she came over and started talking to me about it. Without knowing me or even touching my hair, she was able to put into words the things I didn't like about the haircut (nobody else that I mentioned it to could seem to understand what I was talking about). She gave me some suggestions of things that would look nice on me and verbalized everything that I couldn't. I immediately scheduled a haircut with her for this afternoon. Anita is the stylist I was talking to and the one that cut my hair...she's amazing! The fact that she would consult with me without an appointment was great, and then after talking to her some more about how frustrated I am with the humidity in TX (I'm not from here), she recommended a Brazilian blowout so I had that done as well. She did a fantastic job! I immediately scheduled an appointment to get my color fixed in a couple weeks. As long as I'm here and as long as she's there (she's been there almost 9 years already), I will continue to go to her! While these are the main reasons I love this place, there are many more. The little touches make it a wonderful experience...they even offered me a glass of wine while I was getting my hair cut! The great people, the unpretentious attitudes, the skill level of the staff, having the owner on site and interesting with customers, it just couldn't get better. Even though I live in Pasadena, making this a little bit of a trip for me, I will continue to go here and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great salon. This was the worst hair experience of my ENTIRE life. My normal balayage hair lady was booked for 2 months so I decided to try someone new. When I called, I asked the manager to give me their most experienced stylist. He told me I was in good hands with Annie. When I got there, I showed her a picture of what I wanted. She did not speak English well and definitely misinterpreted my request and concerns. My healthy hair was taken from brown to PURE WHITE blonde. It was horrible!!!! I was on the verge of tears when I looked in the mirror. The manager told me "This is exactly like the picture you asked her for!" He had not even seen the picture yet!!!!! I told him I needed it fixed ASAP because it was horrific. I came the next morning to get it toned and still am horrified of how it turned out. It is completely the wrong weird gray ashy tone and has irreparable bleached damage. Every single person I showed my inspiration picture to said my hair looked NOTHING like what I asked for. My hair is COMPLETELY ruined $345 later. I am now going to another salon to get it fixed and to spend more money. What a NIGHTMARE. Please be aware so this doesn't happen to you. I wish I would have read their Facebook reviews instead of Yelp because so many people had the same problem. My hair is completely bleached and RUINED. read more
