Because Chris did not use any product for the blowout, by the time I got home my hair looked like when I get up in the morning. To make things worse, Chris did not check his work at all, and when I got home I noticed a strand of hair 1 inch longer than the rest! That being said, I am a young healthy woman with recent unexpected cardiac events from which I almost died. I was discharged home and all I wanted was to get my hair done and feel like a new person. A new haircut and style can do that, right!? The night before my appointment, we had another event that landed me in the Emergency Department 4am. I called Rinnovo salon first thing in the morning and explained my situation. I was hoping to reschedule soon as I get discharged but Rinnovo salon charged me $50 for the missed appointment citing their cancelation policy. I am self employed and have a similar policy but I also understand that there are life and death situations that one must make an exception for. I spoke with the manager and she refused to budge, once again citing this policy. I am appalled by their behavior. It's not about the money but about the lack of sympathy, empathy, and understanding. Maybe just me, but I expected more and don't think that this is a good example of what our community should be. My 2 daughters and I will not be returning to this salon out of pure principle.
