Lauren was honest with me from the get-go about what she did and didn't feel comfortable doing in terms of maintaining the integrity of my hair (we skipped bleaching the ends for that reason), which I really appreciated. From the moment she started painting to the toner and blowout/styling, it was clear that she *really* cares about her work, as well as the client's satisfaction. And I truly don't think the tone of my blonde has ever looked better! Not to mention, Lauren's sweet, friendly, accommodating presence makes for a really pleasant experience all around. I forget his name (which is a common occurrence with me unfortunately). Was going out for a special celebration the next day so I went in just to get it cut. But he styled it so well after the cut that it even stayed until the next day. I SLEPT ON IT and it didn't get ruined. Just lightly brushed it before I left in the morning. The only negative thing is that he is very rough with the brushing. Every time he sectioned my hair or combed it to blow dry it I bet that I lost at least 50 strands. He pulled at my hair quite hard. Kept the blowdryer super close to my scalp so I would feel like my head was burning. I tipped him way more than I usually do in general because that's how happy I was. Technically I'd like to give it between 3 and 4 stars because of all the pulling, tugging and burning. But since that's not an option on Yelp, this place gets 4 stars. This is definitely my hair salon now. And SO reasonable! This is the perfect spot for me.

I went in for a keratin treatment. My hair was actually looking the best it had looked in a very long time. I had recently spent a small fortune having my hair professionally colored, and I was extremely happy with how it looked. I felt it just needed some additional conditioning, which is why I decided to have a keratin treatment. Before the treatment, I specifically told the stylist that I had recently had my hair colored. She told me that the keratin treatment "might lighten my hair a little bit." I certainly wasn't expecting what happened next. My hair didn't simply become a little lighter or slightly brassy. It turned bright orange. And when I say orange, I mean literally the color of an orange. Think of the actual, vivid orange color of an orange fruit -- that is what my hair looked like. It was extremely obvious and absolutely not the color I had when I walked into the salon. What shocked me almost as much as the color itself was that the stylist never acknowledged it. She didn't apologize or make any comment about the dramatic change. She simply carried on as though everything was fine and even recommended products to me. The owner also saw my hair and said nothing. I left the salon completely stunned. The consequences lasted far beyond that appointment. I spent hundreds of dollars over the following year on additional salon services trying to correct the color and get my hair back to where it had been before this treatment. I'm still not completely sure that my hair has returned to its original condition. What makes this particularly disappointing is that the salon describes itself as being founded on the pursuit of "exceptional customer service and stylistic excellence." Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I understand that mistakes can happen. What I find much harder to understand is when something goes obviously wrong and nobody acknowledges it or takes responsibility. I waited a long time before writing this review, but I ultimately feel that customers deserve to know about my experience. This was not a minor color change or a result that I simply didn't like. My hair was a color I had never asked for, and correcting it cost me hundreds of dollars.

I came in asking for a basic brown balayage with lighter pieces and made it very clear that I do not like red tones in my hair. I even showed a reference photo. I ended up with noticeable HOT PINK highlights, which was completely unexpected and not what I asked for at all. There was no conversation or confirmation that any kind of pink tone would be added to my hair. I gave the salon a chance to fix it and came back, spending over 8 hours across 2 days trying to correct it. Unfortunately, the end result still has red undertones and now looks muddy, not like a balayage. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. The owner was dismissive and blamed the result on a very slight color filter on my phone, saying I "should have known" I was getting pink. Even if a photo looked slightly warm, that does not justify adding hot pink tones without clearly communicating that to a client first. The owner honestly seemed annoyed that I was there and barely finished drying my hair. When I expressed that I was still unhappy after spending $300 on something that wasn't what I asked for, I was told I would have had to pay that amount regardless, and the conversation was essentially shut down. I also tried calling afterward to resolve things and never received a response. I understand that miscommunications can happen, which is why I gave them the opportunity to fix it. But the lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional attitude made this a really frustrating experience. I literally cried for hours straight after coming home with pink hair, and then to be told it was my fault and to not be offered a discount/ partial refund is CRAZY. Ok so i have stumbled upon the best salon around! I recently had a day to myself and was up in Andover doing some shopping, I took a spin over to chestnut st to try out hometown seafoods, which i heard was a great place, when I noticed salon invi. so after getting my lunch i decided to take this "me day" to the next level and treat myself to a new do. i went inside and was greated right away by the front desk girl who was very attentive. I was told that one of the stylists had an opening and i could be seen momentarily. thats when i was handed an apple iPod to use while i waited. How cool is that! I barely had time to check my email before i was being called in to start the cut, talk about quick service, and i was introduced to my stylist, Sarah Sheppard. Sarah Was so nice and friendly and i dont know if it was the slight hint of a southern accent in her voice or how excited and passionate she looked when we were coming up with a plan for my new do, but i knew i was in good hands. we decided to do some color and a hair cut. when she was done i couldn't believe how great it had came out! Sarah did the best job ever, i couldnt keep myself from giving her a great big hug. Who would have thought that my need for a good fish sandwich would have led me to a new hairstylist! I will definitely be making the trip to salon invi in andover to see Sarah Sheppard from now on. if you havent been there, definitely make an appointment! The salon is bright, clean, and beautifully designed--perfect for a relaxing self-care day. Emina did a balayage treatment and a blowout, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Being a new mom it's hard to just drop everything and get my hair done. Salon Invi is such a beautiful salon so when I finally got a chance to go I went to see Donnie and I'm so happy I did! He was absolutely terrific and I recommend him. From the moment I walked into salon Invi I felt totally comfortable with him. When I sat in his chair we really got to talk about the likes and dislikes of my hair and what I wanted to be done, with his Suggestions we came up with a game plan. Donnie also give amazing head washes! They are to die for, I even got to take a little nap with the amazing treatment he put it...I was in heaven! When we got back to the chair he stuck to the game plan and didn't ignore my wants and needs, he actually listens to you and cares! He has so much knowledge about the products I really felt comfortable when it came to the blow dry and curls!! He answered any products questions I had with such confidence and ease...he really knows a lot and I love that! My hair at the end has been the best it's ever been in a while!! I have spent many years looking for a stylist like Emina! I am a brunette and have tried balayage at several professional salons only to leave with orange and brassy tones. I got to the point where I thought it was just the nature of my hair. That is until I met Emina. After a consultation with Emina she told me with confidence that she could achieve the look I wanted with the base I had which would allow for some dimension (fyi important to note that I did not have any previous box color). The end result was even better than the inspiration photo I originally showed her. She also cut/styled my hair in a way that I've tried to explain to others in the past but always left unresolved. She is a true natural at her craft and you can really tell she loves what she does. After more than a year of haircuts from Sarah, I am certain she is the most talented stylist I've ever had. She always asks what I have in mind, and she reliably makes my suggestion even better through our dialogue. Although I'll never be mistaken for George Clooney, Sarah undoubtedly makes me look like the best possible version of myself. In addition, she converses about the variety of topics I might raise in a most engaging way, whether serious or humorous. Monthly visits with Sarah are a great pleasure. Salon Invi is the best salon I have been to between MA and NYC - hands down! The entire staff, the atmosphere, their hair products, and overall service are unparalleled. Never have I had a better hair cut than from Chris Kishfy. He listens to you, makes you feel comfortable, understood, and cared for. My hair looks great from the second he is done all the way until I'm ready for my next cut. He knows how to keep a short hair cut looking great as it grows, which is no easy feat for someone with very straight, fine hair. Chris makes you feel like your one of the family! I had my first experience at Salon Invi this past week as a model for Jessy. She was training with the owner, Chris, who was very involved in the process. Jessy was meticulous with my trim and Chris was very detailed in his instructions regarding technique. Jessy made sure she correctly understood what I wanted before beginning and gave great advice when I asked her opinion. In the end I loved the cut and I spoke to Jessy and Chris about the ideas I had for hair color. Asking me questions about my routine and how often I want to maintain the color, they were very honest and specific about what would be best for me. I look forward to having Jessy do my color and I will be making the 45 minute drive to Salon Invi in the future, as a great Salon is tough to find. read more

I have been going to Chris for about a year now, and he absolutely kills it, everytime!! He was the only person I trusted to take my hair from blonde to brunette, and he nailed the "my natural color, but better" vibe to a T.. I fell in love with being brunette thanks to him. And my hair has never felt as soft and healthy as it does after I leave the salon! The glosses and treatments might be my favorite part lol. Leaves my hair so smooth and completely frizz-free. Now he's the only person I trust to touch my hair, period! Also a huge plus, the entire staff is always so sweet and helpful! From the moment you walk in, you're treated like royalty; a cup of espresso, followed by a scalp massage and full wash, and you would think you're at a day spa! I cant recommend Salon Invi more. The salon is clean, you're greeted with a smile, and treated so well. I've been going to Cassie for a few years now and she goes over the top to make sure I walk out of the salon looking and feeling great. I've been getting my hair colored for 10+ years and have never found someone as amazing as her! shes helped me get almost platinum blonde hair, to a beautiful brown, without letting me get any damage whatsoever. The place is great and the people there are super friendly. i had my hair cut and colored by sarah sheppard. she was amazing! she was so friendly and made my hair do things i never expected. I recently just had my hair done with Jose batistine and had to let the world know. I have been coloring my hair a deep dark chocolate brown for years now and have been sitting on the urge of wanting to go blonde. I put my faith in Jose and would do it all over again if I could!!! OMG! I had the best prom ever and it is all thanks to sarah sheppard of invi. my hair was really funky after an at home coloring attempt and I thought I had messed up my prom before it even started. I went to invi salon hoping that they could fix my crazy hair. sarah sheppard made my hair color even better than it was before I decided to play hairstylist on myself. Molly has been my hair stylist for the past 8 years. I am so beyond grateful that she had a cancellation the day I walked in and said, "Is anyone available for a haircut?". It was the best haircut I have ever received and knew that I would be a returning customer. She always listens to what I want, but will give me suggestions based on her expertise on how to adjust based on my face shape, natural hair color, etc. At this point, I sit in her chair and say "Whatever you think" and I always leave happy. Cassie is one of the best! I followed her from one salon to this one and she has continued to impress and pass on the knowledge that she has picked up over her career. She really listens to what I'm looking for, is honest with how it will turn out or the process it takes to get there, and is able to create perfect colors. I even moved out of the area and have tried out salons in the city (Boston) and nothing has compared. The salon itself has a great ambience and very polite/accommodating staff. It's definitely more on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. read more

Salon invi is the place to go if you are looking for a professional, friendly salon with modern decor and all the amenities. The moment you walk through the door you are greeted warmly by the receptionist who has been there for many years. The hair stylists are knowledgeable and helpful in guiding you to the look that you want to achieve. It is such a comfortable environment, I always leave feeling terrific about the way I look. Kristin is the consummate hair stylist: professional, artistic, and an exceptional colorist. She is a perfectionist when it comes to my hair style, treatment and care. I look forward to my weekly standing appointment at Salon invi where I can relax and be pampered. I have been going to Salon Invi for a few years now and always come out with incredible results. My hair has never looked so healthy and I get a million compliments right after. The salon is very professional and you are offered tea and coffee as soon as you walk in. They have message chairs while you get your hair washed and they also give you the most incredible head message you don't want it to end! She is truly an artist with transformative abilities with my unruly and ever changing aging hair. It's worth the ride every time and she never disappoints. Everytime I walk out of Amore Salon I leave feeling refreshed and so much lighter. She truly does not only an amazing job on my hair but making me feel comfortable and fulfilling my requests entirely. She listens to what I want and always makes sure to double check to ensure satisfaction. The atmosphere of the salon itself is calm and relaxing with soft music playing in the background and super personable and friendly hairdressers. Safe to say that even though I am leaving for college I will still only get my hair cut at Amore Salon when I'm back on my breaks. They are incredible.

There very professional, knowledgable and will suggest the right thing for you even if your not to sure. They even teach you the way you need to do it at home so it looks like you left their chair every morning. I see Deanna and I just love her, she make me look FABOLOUS!
