When my mother died in 2016, my stylist even came in on a Saturday to cut and color my hair since I had to travel to another state to attend her funeral service. This was way beyond anything I could have ever expected and will always be grateful to my stylist for this kindness on her part. Upon the realization that Covid-19 was upon us, the owner of Allure Salon Professionals took immediate steps to protect its clients from potential infection in order to meet the health standards set up by the State of Michigan, and it continues to meet those standards when any new orders are issued by the State. They give a 5% discount if you pay with cash, so I wanted to share that tip (I'm always looking for discounts), and the foot and leg massage were the best I can recall having. However, both the manicure and pedicure that my mom had done were absolutely not well done. The shellac manicure peeled off in a day and the pedicure polish had smudged and basically fell off the nails within an hour of leaving... and my mom wore flip flops the entire day to ensure they dried properly. Besides the terrible execution of the services, the response from the owner Jessica has been ridiculous. She told my mom to go out and buy her own shellac and refunded $35 out of the $85 spent (not including tip). Her excuse was that they offered to redo the services... but when your nail tech puts cuticle oil on BEFORE shellac... that's a sure sign to run out the door. We should have. I absolutely recommend you do not waste your time at this gaudy little hometown spa.
