Best salon experience I've had in a while. I'm quite leery of them in general, especially ultra fancy salons of N Scottsdale. As a result, my hair remained untouched for years until I walked into Salon Rock. I didn't need an appointment, the timing was impeccable. David took great care of my hair and gave me the result I was hoping for. I didn't want anything crazy, just a good trim to keep my 30 inches of hair healthy and growing. He took enough to remove damaged ends, and my hair still reaches my lower back. Exactly what I wanted. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the music, and the conversation. They are great people to be around and made an otherwise nerve wracking experience very comfortable. I was told of this salon by my son, he had gone to Rock because he heard they have bands and music sometimes. He had his hair lightened, cut and it looked amazing!! I made a last min appointment with Rain one of the lovely people there . I have to say I have NEVER been so happy with my hair! I told her what I wanted and like never before I had my hair exactly how I imagined in my head.( that NEVER happens) So talented beyond her years!!! I stopped in to Salon Rock this past Saturday to get some curls put in my hair for a baby shower I was attending later in the day. Laura took me back and as she began to put the tight curls in, something I'm not used to I was hesitant but to my utter surprise my hair came out SENSATIONAL, in my entire life I have not received so many positive comments,EVER!!!! I've never had my hair cut there, but I can tell you that the owners of the salon, David and Laura, are amazing people. David is an amazing person. A Christian who believes that his business has a chance to survive if you come in and talk to him about what he believes. I've sat in a chair there, not for a haircut but to play music with him and my friends. The atmosphere, if you are into music, is all about it. You'll see as soon as you walk in. Awesome Salon! David did a full head of highlights and low-lights. When I got home, my husband said this was the BEST my hair has ever looked! My hair felt healthier after the whole process as well.
