Tried to get in as a walk-in at 3 PM was told that they were booked and to come back later tonight 5:30. Even asked for my name and wrote it down. I cannot believe I fell for these reviews. I also cannot believe that here I am 41 weeks pregnant hours from being induced redoing my own toes because of how messed up the male owner left them. I should have known right away pulling up to that seedy dilapidated plaza it was not going to be a good experience. It was completely dead on a Friday afternoon. He didn't ask me what shape I wanted, he cut the corners of all the toenails and left them this weird shape on the edges. I picked a light pink sheer color, this needed at least 3+ coats which he didn't do. If I have to be breathing down their backs to do a decent job they aren't worthy. I left before the nails even dried I knew they were going to need to be redone, sadly the one way to fix those edges is to cut down the nails. I will post my swollen feet as a warning to others. read more

Been going here for 5yrs and Kim turned me onto getting the Hard Gel and now I'm hooked. This place has allowed me to keep my nails going for 3-4 weeks without chipping or breaking. I get regular gel on my toes and those can last about 2-3 months plus the prices are the best in Scottsdale! They have all the colors as well read more

I would never go back Got a full set on a Friday and today, Saturday my color has changed from a nude/ grey mauve purple to olive green... I've never had gel but googling, it seems this is not a rare thing... but also not common... I only found 2 articles from 3 diff women about it.... it's Tuesday now and still olive green. I hate this color. It's not what I picked! And not what I walked out with that day! Other than that. I thought I loved my nails but I've noticed some a little not straight, my nails grow straight.... The people there are very friendly. They greet everyone who walks in. Huge selection of colors! Front display is regular back is gel. I didn't understand and didn't realize I picked gel until he gave me the uv thing. I won't be getting gel again because I hate this color fade thing. I love in surprise and went in between workin my 2 jobs in that area... so because of the distance I won't return. If I lived closer I'd go back to get a color change. Lesson learned read more

Love this salon. People are amazing. Drove 15 miles for it. Love the family but today I'm not impressed. Gave the task of her first ombré. I'm okay with learning on me. She said after you can't do ombré fills, when I've had them done before. Say then before you do it. Came here last minute to get sns done for a wedding I was attending and made an appointment for 530 and showed up on time. They could not take me for another 15 minutes so I sat there and waited. They do not have a ton of colors to choose from for sns and a very limited supply of opi colors as well. I have never gotten a pedicure here so I'm not sure how those go. The women who did my nails was very nice but they were super thin and not very durable. They chipped after a couple weeks which was a little frustrating as my sns usually lasts 3-4 weeks. I would like to give them another chance if I get the opportunity. read more

Just a day later I had one pinky nail gel polish come off completely and a toe nail cracked. I called and explained and they said I can come in whenever. I came in later that day, and had the polish replaced and crack repaired and ripped the guy. Then as I was leaving I was told it was $10. I was confused and confirmed the price and said I was just here yesterday, that's the price? I paid it and left. Unfortunately I don't think I would be back here, which is a shame because it's a lot closer to me than others. read more

The older women who did my pedicure was very rude and aggressive. She would not stop talking about her views on politics and religion, not the relaxing experience I was looking for. She also did a horrible job on my pedicure, probably because she was talking so much and not paying any attention to her job. I will not be returning here and do not recommend this place to anyone! read more

I got a regular polish pedicure & a gel polish manicure. The massage was short & extremely light. At times it felt like he was just applying the lotion to my legs, but it was supposed to be the massage. The quality of work was good but wasn't advise coming here for the spa experience. read more

One of the weirdest nail experiences of my life. My nails turned out great but the over all experience was chaotic and took an hour and a half for a dip manicure. The counter I sat at did not have a towel and there was dust everywhere. He started drilling over my previous powder and never used acetone so it took him 40 minutes to shave off all the dip and was even painful at times. When he was done with a hand he'd dust off my nails with a brush and then dust the table for the excess into a small drain on the counter. Seemed so unsanitary (see picture). There were about 8 children running around loudly and watching videos at full volume. I've been getting dip nails for about 2 years now and understand the process and it's about the same at every other place, however, he seemed to not understand dip and the process. Again, my nails turned out great but with the experience, length of the process, and confusion in what I wanted, I will not be returning read more

I just had my first and last experience at this place. I was looking for a new nail salon and decided to pop in and see if they had time for a walk in gel pedicure. I was greeted by a woman who told me after a 30 minute wait, they could fit me in. I waited 20 minutes in my car and then went inside to be seated so I would be close when they were ready. 40 more minutes elapsed before I asked how much longer I would be waiting. I was told I should leave and come back in 30 minutes or make an appt for another day. I told him that if he knew he couldn't fit me in, why was I allowed to wait? He just brushed me off, turned his back and ignored me. If this place has a no walk in policy, they should say that when walk ins arrive. They have no respect for the time of the clients that request services that they advertise. Wouldn't recommend anyone try this place read more

I have to update my review because as time goes on people can change. This is a review for an incident that happened awhile back. Tim and Kimmy are the couple that work here and own this place. Yes, there's only 2 techs. Kimmy knows how to play the game, Tim does not, he's not a good chatter. As you can see by my reviews and check-ins I used to go to Kt's ALL the time. I went for location, skill and price. I got so used to my routine so much I had the cash total and cash tip ready ahead of time exactly. Well I went in there to get my regular and the prices were CLEARLY edited, like, tape over it and written over. It was heightened by a few dollars, which discourages me from adding any enhancements which I almost always did. This would have been FINE, if NOT for the fact they LIED. They LIED to my face. I asked, "Oh so you raised your prices?" Both Tim and Kimmy looked up and shook their heads, Kimmy says, "Oh...no, no." I'm taken aback, blushing and confused, so I point to the taped prices, "Yea, here, and here." Kimmy replies, "Oh, no, it been like that..." So now I'm getting frustrated, I literally take pictures of the menu and service every time I go as well as save the receipts. I explain it wasn't like that for me, and she asks me when was the last time I was there, a few months, maybe. Kimmy tells me that's impossible and it's been like that 6 months or so. After I left I realized I had been there even MORE recently than I thought and it WAS lower. So, NOW, they've lied about the fact they raised it AND lied about how long it had been since they changed it. In the beginning of the conversation they said their prices HAD NOT AT ALL been raised, then they admitted they had!! I don't care, just don't lie to me!! Haven't been back since because I find it really hard to give my money to liars. read more

This is a family owned business where not only do you get technicians that care about making sure your nails are perfect but they also just care about their clients as a whole. Everyone that does my nails here is always interested in me and my life but also does a terrific job on my acrylics with gel. I typically go to James who does amazing but I know everyone is just as great! They are also clean and organized and usually get me in for my appointment time. I highly reccomend KTs! Their prices are some of the best in Scottsdale too! 10/10!! read more

Alicia does so well, I recommended my best friend to go to her, since his girlfriend likes his face completely smooth, but, his beard grows in like mine, and her tips from each of us far exceed the paltry percentage she gets per customer from EWC. European Wax offers year long passes, where customers can go as often as necessary, and I since I need to go every two weeks to minimize the how much hair is being pulled at one time, I started getting those, since it would save a lot of money. I have five months left before the current year is up. My best friend also bought a year pass, after experiencing Alicia's skills and the lasting results. In the time I have been going to this location, the store has gone through SEVEN managers, with the latest one being Courtney, who has been there a month and a half. And now, Alicia is fired. Funny how the SIX managers BEFORE Courtney, did not fire Alicia, so, it should not take a rocket scientist to figure out who is the problem. Since my waxer is gone, one I trusted and counted on to do the job right (and we always have a great rapport), and I hold those in charge of the store, above the manager level, responsible, I will NOT be coming back to European Wax Centers, ever, for my business. She said she could not give out the numbers, but, had left a message with them about my, "concerns". I do not appreciate European Wax Center for bouncing Courtney from the San Tan Village location to the Tempe Market Place location, because she could not work and play well with others, there (funny thing about the internet, things of record NEVER go away), and I do not appreciate Courtney for firing Alicia when six other managers prior had the management skills to not fire her, nor do I appreciate her gatekeeping the contact information for her bosses. But, that's ok, I will find it and let them know what I think.
