There is amazing talent working in this spa. There is ample parking and it is easy to get in and out. I walked in without an appointment but after only a few minutes they took care of me. The care was really perfect! I had Emily and she knew exactly what to do and everything felt great. She even taught me a few words in Vietnamese. She was nice and even engaging. She asked if I wanted a manicure also and I said yes. I think she said only $20 more. I noticed her nails looked like art and mainly on her left hand. She said she did that to herself as she had learned to paint nails actually in Vietnam before she moved here. She is very qualified and I highly recommend her. Other people in the shop also spoke to me and it felt like friends. The vibe is happy and caring. Try them! read more

Really wanted to like this place. I typically go to Aria but I wanted to try something new. Called at 5:00 asking if they had any availability, they said yes come in at 6:15. Went at 6:15, they were busy so I don't mind waiting, waited till 7 to get put in a chair for my nails to start. The girl gets my nails prepped and another appointment came in and so she stops my nails and goes and does that, which I understand I was a same day add on, but I was left waiting another 30 minutes before another girl moves me to her station and has to take over my nails. So when the other girl takes over she's kind but obviously in a rush, understandable because they closed at 7... She rushed and my nails were crooked, a little bit off I didn't mind but my thumb was completely pointing to the left and off center. I told her this and she couldn't see it, I don't know if she just didn't believe me or what but she called another girl over to look, after that she tried to fix it but once again starting filing the wrong way to make it crooked again. I said something and she literally handed me the file to do it... Odd, but whatever. She finished my nails and felt a spot uneven so she buffed it out and put the finish on top, didn't think much. When I left I was willing to just accept that I'm not coming back but no review needed. Final straw that broke me was looking at my nails in the light and seeing that where she tried to fix the uneven spot is left with white scratch marks.. $100 ($90 nails - $10 tip) to be left with crooked nails, scratch marks, and a overall mediocre experience. I tried to remain positive but honestly one of the worst experiences I've had a salon. Also if you ask why I didn't go back and get it fixed, they were already there an hour and a half past close trying to finish my nails... read more

Emily and her sister are amazing! Everyone in the salon is so sweet and it's always been a positive experience being in there. I wasn't happy with the color I got and they quickly took me in and fixed it. I appreciated how kind they were about it and how quick they were to get my nails to the way I loved them. I needed a last-minute acrylic fill, and I found this nail salon. This is the first nail salon where they were upfront and honest about the price if anything was going to be extra. The ladies are ALL so friendly. Prices are very fair. I will definitely be a return customer. Angel did my nails, and she was an absolute sweetheart, and her quality of work is amazing. I don't live in Arizona, but visit often. I will continue to come back to this nail salon just because of the quality of work, customer service and sincere women here. We went here cause the reviews were good but we didn't enjoy our experience. I showed a picture to my nail tech doing my pedicure who was a man with a bald head it was just French with a white chrome. He started doing the pedicure at lightening speed so fast I couldn't take the time to relax. Once we got to the polish part things took a turn. He first started doing the French with no pink base and just white on the tip and I stopped him and asked for pink. After trying to find the right pink he said I didn't tell him when it was in the picture. Then the chrome..... oh my. He could not get the right chrome and after many try's and me saying it wasn't right, I finally gave up and just accepted I wouldn't like my nails. Heartbreaking since I am always on my feet and just wanted to take some time to relax and pamper myself. My hands were a totally different experience. Kim is great and did exactly what I asked for. I asked for matching hands and toes and she was able to immediately get the right chrome the first time and did a pink base and was very detailed. She is the only reason why this place is even getting 1 star. My boyfriend's tech was ok. She was nice but also too fast and didn't even buff his nails or cut them evenly. Overall there's a lot of better places out there def isn't worth anywhere near the $225 we paid. read more

Came here to get ready for my trip to Mexico which was the following day. I got a manicure, pedicure, under arms and entire leg wax. I don't plan to come back here and would not necessarily recommend people to come here for waxing specifically. I had two ladies wax my legs and not entirely sure why this had happened but they used two different waxes on my legs. One leg was used with the honey wax and the other was used with a coconut wax. I was extremely frustrated at the end of my waxing session because my legs were not smooth or anywhere near hairless. I still had to shave my legs before my trip the next day so there was really no point in wasting my money on this and I hope this review saves you from wasting your money on their waxing services as well. Overall the entire experience was not worth the $254 I ended up spending there. read more

I want to address an extremely unprofessional experience at Flaming Nails. While I was getting my nails done, the owner yelled at my nail tech, which was not only uncalled for, but also incredibly disrespectful. There's a time and place to address issues with your employees, and doing so in front of customers is not appropriate. To make matters worse, the owner was slamming chairs and even came over to my nail tech's station to cut the telephone cord. That behavior is beyond disrespectful & disgusting, and no one should have to endure it in the workplace. I want to make it clear that no one is "disrespecting" you simply because we're booking with the best nail tech in the shop. As I told you in person, you owe her an apology, not me. This kind of treatment should not be tolerated, and it's disappointing to witness it. read more

Since my waxer is gone, one I trusted and counted on to do the job right (and we always have a great rapport), and I hold those in charge of the store, above the manager level, responsible, I will NOT be coming back to European Wax Centers, ever, for my business. I also want the balance of my pass fees refunded. When I talked to Courtney, she said she could only give me store credit. When I asked to for the corporate number, she said that the location was a franchise, so there is no corporate tie. After some digging, I called Courtney back and asked to speak to her bosses, Lauren and Jacqueline. She said she would pass the message. After not hearing back from either of them, I went into the store and asked her in person for their numbers. She said she could not give out the numbers, but, had left a message with them about my, "concerns". Later, she called me back and claimed that I had gone enough times that there would not be any prorate left on the balance. I do not appreciate European Wax Center for bouncing Courtney from the San Tan Village location to the Tempe Market Place location, because she could not work and play well with others, there (funny thing about the internet, things of record NEVER go away), and I do not appreciate Courtney for firing Alicia when six other managers prior had the management skills to not fire her, nor do I appreciate her gatekeeping the contact information for her bosses. But, that's ok, I will find it and let them know what I think.
