Came in not having a trim in over 9 months. I have very thin, fragile hair and it was a mess with split ends and breakage. Rick is awesome! And he's such a wonderful owner! I had gone in this previous Sunday for a balayage...it didn't go as I had planned. The girl I saw (and will not be naming, because in no way did my hair reflect her ability as a stylist, stuff happens, we're human) did everything she could with what was going on with my hair. It was slightly processed, I had dyed it over 5 months ago and the color had faded almost completely. We had a little bit of an issue lifting the color all the way. She did her best to tone it out, but it was a tad orange when I left. I decided to give it a few days and use my purple shampoo I got from Sally's, but within two days, my hair was so orange and I was so uncomfortable with letting it down. Which sucked, because I couldn't showcase how well it was all blended by the lady I saw. Here's where the 5 stars come in... I had called two days later almost in tears because my hair was orange. I paid nearly 200 and I was so upset with how orange my hair was. I told Rick I understood a balayage is a process, but someone should never walk out of a salon with orange hair. He said he'd squeeze me in and take care of me himself and I wouldn't have to pay. I almost started crying, I was so relieved. So all in all, I give La Mode 5 stars. I am so happy with my hair now. Rick was amazing. And I'm so thankful he worked with me and got me in at no charge to rectify the situation. THANK YOU RICK! read more

I must say La Mode gets an "A" for customer service. I went to this salon for the first time with my two daughters. I found them based on their Yelp reviews. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. I was able to get a same day appointment for the three of us. Although my daughters were very happy with their cuts unfortunatley the only draw back was that I did not receive the cut I requested. Rick the owner has been nothing short if amazing to work with me to ensure that I am 100% satisfied. This type of ownership shows that he stands by his business and his work. He not only is willing to refund me but also personally address my concerns with my hair. You just don't get that level of customer service anymore! read more

I visited La Mode today and requested Elisa. She was AMAZING. She took the time to listen to all my wants and concerns. I wanted the natural baylage look. She took her time on my hair and explained to me step by step what she was doing, and what products she was using. She was able to give me a much softer look than the white blonde I had before. I am in love with my new color and cut. I am one of those picky... hard to please people when it comes to my hair. I am so pleased and will definitely returning to Elisa! He does an amazing job with blonde highlights and is a very talented stylist altogether. He knows what he's doing and I consider him one of the best in the business. One of my favorite aspects of the salon is that if Rick is running late I get a curtesy phone call ahead of time to let me know so I'm not just sitting there waiting and can arrive later if he is behind. I also receive a reminder phone call two days ahead of each appointment. When I arrive I am immediately asked if I would like something to drink anywhere from sparkling or still water or wine! Went to this salon twice and was pleased with the service and cleanliness of the salon. The first time I went, Elisa did my hair and it was amazing! I was very pleased. Unfortunately she is no longer with the salon. But on my second visit, I had another stylist (who's name I can't seem to remember) who did a good job, but not a great one. I have very curly hair and tried to explain to her how I wanted the hair to lay and unfortunately she couldn't achieve the look I was going for. At first i was scared going at this again but let me just say im sooo glad i did it! I finally can say i got the color ive wanted! Deff worth the 4 hrs we spent together! Aside from an AMAZInG job she did she also recommended this hair syling creme because i told her i struggle keeping my curls nice and NOT frizz!!! Soo this has been a LONG time coming. My visit to La Mode was more than about a month ago but it's still fresh in my mind. Mostly because I had to take my kids with me and I was dreading it. Luckily Rick and his staff were more than patient with my kids BUT that will be the last time I take them with me. La Mode has a really great calming and soothing atmosphere and with my kiddos there it was neither calming nor soothing but I digress. I booked a coloring and a cut with Rick, which was the best decision ever! I wanted a ombre look but not the blonde since I didnt feel would look good on me. But after a bit of conversation and some question we decided on a red ombre and OMG let me tell you it came out FANTASTIC!!! He also did an awesome job with my cut, I had not gotten my hair cut in more than six months for fear of someone massacring it. All fear is gone and I now know who I will be going to for all my hair care needs! If your new to the area like I was this is a great place to come! When I walked into the salon I was first greeted by a gentleman Garret who was very professional and courteous. The salon was squeaky clean with a one of a kind décor that I love, they had everything organized and stocked. My appointment was made with Jaclyn Owens and when I first sat down for my consultation she was very professional and got into great detail of finding out what I wanted (mind you I had no idea what I wanted). After our consultation Jaclyn went to work, I put my faith in her as she cut. Jaclyn has refined the art of cutting into a artistic perfection. She transformed me into something I never saw myself and I am ready to hit the town tonight as a new man.
