Was very pleased with this salon. Sara is very professional and spends a lot of time asking about what your hair does and how you prefer to wear it. I have naturally curly hair and have had every bad haircut imaginable. Naturally I am very hesitant when I need to go to the hairdresser. I was very specific about what my hair would do, but more importantly what it would not do, and Sara took it all in. I explained how much it springs from wet to dry, at what point the coil starts, where it is less curly, where on my head I have the tightest coils. This so important for a hairdresser to know! How are they supposed to know what your hair will do if you yourself can't even tell them? I told them what my needs were, (SOMETHING EASY!) and not only did she deliver one of the easiest wash and wear cuts I have ever had, but one that looks like I spent a lot of time styling it (which I didn't). If you have curly hair, honey, I feel your pain! I know the anger and frustration every time you see a glorious mane of shiny strait hair because you know they probably have a fabulous hairdresser that knows how to make masterpieces out of strait hair, but squat about curly hair. I know your fear and anxiety over letting someone new touch your curls and the inevitable hesitation over getting the mop whacked back because your unruly tangles are starting to invade the personal space of others. It's ok, Sara will know what to do to wrangle in the mess, PROVIDED you know your own head of hair. If you have cherub curls, don't go in there with a picture of Foxy Brown expecting your hair to do that. It won't. Look online for pictures of curls very similar to yours, and in a style you kind of like and bring it with you. Sarah will be able to figure it all out with your help! UPDATE: I was sent a beyond disappointing and so unprofessional message by Kelly S. from the salon because of my negative review. I have never experienced a business behave this way to a customer of many years. Many false accusations were made likely from jumping to conclusions from one side of the story. For example, I received the service in 2017, not 2016. Also, I did not wait weeks to notify the salon AND Chelsea. It was within a WEEK, with pictures! Never did she try to reach out to me personally in attempt to rectify the situation or even to get the facts but instead stated that I am no longer welcome!! In the 10 years that I have been getting my hair done there I have NEVER requested a refund. I have the texts and the pictures, this is seriously disappointing that a business treats their customers this way. How would you feel if you paid almost $200 to get your dyed and the dye was gone within the week? Come on, common sense here on acceptable service. I have been going there for years for my hair and regret trying the lash service. I even contacted the salon after my service to give them an opportunity to make it right before posting a review. They didn't care to address the situation. Take ownership and accountability, it goes a long way in customer service!! read more

One star is one too many! I had my hair colored by Tina. Scabs developed all over my scalp and I assumed I was allergic to the product she used. I waited and waited for the scabs to go away but they didn't. I finally went to the doctor - 5 weeks later and I STILL was covered in scabs! The doctor took one look at my scalp and told me that it had been burned. I met with Tina the day after the doctors appointment who refused to refund my money. She claimed that because I didn't go to her immediately ... what was she going to do? She'd already burned the heck out of my scalp, there was nothing she would do. I asked to speak to the owner Jaimie who refused to see me and asked me to leave the salon. Through all of this I had kept my voice down and was not making a scene. Absolutely love this salon and their staff..we use Cara and she is just an amazing colorist. She listens to what you're saying as to how you want your hair, which is a rarity in itself. She listens to your personal life stories and connects with you as a client..she actually cares! Hey, if you're going to spend 1.5 hours in a chair, might as well connect with the person who has their hands all over your head. She brings tons of ideas to your appointment about styles, takes care of you with water, coffee, tea or cocoa and also knows when to just be quiet if you're not in the mood or trying to get work done on your phone. I've been hearing for YEARS that Shannon Flecky was an amazing stylist and she did not disappoint! I went and had my hair done by her yesterday and.. wow. I had extentions and found out were ruining my hair because they were the wrong size. :( She helped me decide on a style (even thought about the CORRECT extensions) and I LOVE my new cut and color!!! The salon is nice and roomy and there's a decent waiting area to hang out in should you need to wait for your stylist. The real reason for my 5 star review is to spotlight the stylist that makes it worth it for me to drive out from Los Angeles to get my hair done, SHANNON FLECKY. Just visited the other day to see my favorite hair dresser Rian again. She was supercool and understanding about my first visit and gave me an amazing deal on highlights and cut. Let me just say that I have never had a hairdresser so intuned with what's funky n cool. She is so what we need more of in the Inland Empire. Gotta check out Rian, she rocks! I've been with Lily Rogers for 10 years now. My appointments are always on weekday evenings so I cannot speak for the salon as a whole. I don't interact with the receptionists and other stylists very much. That aside, Lily is amazing. I moved to Orange County nearly 3 years and I still commute back to Murrieta just for her. Over the years several of my friends and family have gone to her on my recommendation. What I love about her is that she can do both color and cut. Some stylists excel on one but she executes both. The only downside is that Lily only works 3 days a week, no weekends. You have to book her weeks, months in advance. It's well worth it though. :) read more

The stylists here saved the day today for my 13-year old daughter. She got a round brush stuck in her hair and after nearly 2 hours of trying to get it out, I took her here. They immediately sprung to action with 3 stylists looking for spray-in conditioner and the proper combs and picks to do the job. Inside of an hour they had her looking just as beautiful as she always does without having to cut her hair. It's very rare today to find any business that really cares about their customers.
