I went to this salon for the first time today and had a great experience with Amy! I called right when they opened and they were able to fit me in shortly after, plus Amy was waiting upon my arrival. A lot of Huntsville nail salons have negative ratings and seeing the positive ones here My mom and I stopped in. It was a decent experience (I'm spolied being from the DC metro area). In realized after leaving and washing my hands how thick the gel polish is on some of my nails. Literally, I can peel it up it's so thick. Let me not even go into my pedicure that was more of a foot and leg rub with aromatherapy scrubs and mask. My mom's nail polish (french tips) aren't even. It was easier to just leave since we had somewhere we needed to be instead of starting over. Her pedicure still had dry skin on it and it was left. The guy got into a conflict when she questioned him about what he did. Adam needs to get his attitude in check if his credentials aren't present (we looked) and not just his name on his visor! I will back home next week and this thick bs will be off my hands quickly and I will have a real pedicure done. My mom will be visiting with me and I will pay to get her an appt as well. All in all, it is very inviting and clean, but the nail techs are as experienced as someone who does carpentry. read more

I went to Salon Studio Nails to have gel polish removed before surgery. Jane did a manicure and took the polish off my toenails. She was extremely helpful as I had a broken foot and was wearing a boot. She removed the polish correctly. I was very pleased. Jane is excellent! I certainly recommend the salon and ask for Jane. read more

These are the worst nails I've ever gotten. I have had these on for exactly a week and they are all lifting. Also, the tech made my nails way too pointy. Do not go see Uganda the nail tech. I've gotten my nails done other times at this salon and they were great. Just beware of who you get! read more

Stay away from these people!! My daughter had to go to the ER FROM NAIL GLUE or some other clippings from a technician who was not paying attention!!! They allowed debris or glue to fly and that splattered in her eye! She was there five minutes and came home in a state. When I called upset I got nothing but attitude. I'm so irate! The health department is getting a call from us! Filed a complaint with the cosmology board. There were witnesses and cameras yet no response or responsibility taken from this shady business. Enter at your own risk! They refuse to take any responsibility whatsoever, even though they all knew what happened at the time. I went in person to discuss and got nothing but denial. First off, why the heck would we make this up?!!! What could I possibly expect to gain from them? They should post warnings or retrain their techs, They do not care about customer well being or safety in this place! They have officially and forever turned us off from going to these cheap nail salons or anything to do with acrylics, and what a nightmare to think of ever allowing them near lashes. These places are not regulated and not safe! read more

This was my first time here and it was fantastic! I've been working a lot of hours lately and with Sunday as my only day off, my usual Salon wasn't open. Glad I heard about this place. It's kind of tucked away out of sight as you pass by but it is worth hunting down. Cici gave me one of the best pedi's I've ever had! And Kevin did an awesome job filling my acrylics. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Outstanding customer service and attention. This nail salon used to be amazing, but as their clientele has grown they don't seem to have the time to pay attention to their customers. For the past several times now they have done a rush job & my nails continue to get destroyed. I've been getting my nails done for several years now and have never had this issue of them breaking and cracking like they are now. When I try to bring it up to the owner, Kevin, he says that my nails are too long or I'm too rough with them. I used to be a firefighter and would get my nails done and I never had issues like this. Now I am a teacher & they are cracking & breaking. It's honestly a waste of time to go here. So disappointed. read more

This nail salon is a little tricky to get to the first time. It is located in a separate strip mall next to Publix/McDonald's. This is a hidden gem though- it is huge inside, dim spa lighting and peaceful music. A very relaxing environment for a mani/pedi or waxing. The owner greeted almost everyone by name. The prices were comparable to what I used to pay in Atlanta. Everyone was friendly, they pay attention to detail and I will definitely go back for this treat! read more

Salon Studio is the best place I've found in the Huntsville area. They are under new ownership and Heidi and Kevin are great, along with the rest of the sweet staff! I'm glad I've finally found my place after trying so many salons the last few years. Heidi also does amazing facials - better than some great facials I've recurved at top end resorts. I did not have an appointment but was welcomed by Kevin and asked to wait a few minutes for him. He did a fantastic job and recommended acrylic dip powder nails vs regular acrylic's. Certainly won't be back... the magazines and coffee bar are clearly for show since the woman helping me practically dragged me back while I was trying to grab a magazine as I walked by (by the way nothing was offered). She pointed at a chair and flipped the water on a walked away. I had to flag someone down to keep it from overflowing. While doing my pedicure she was too busy talking to the woman next to here she barely looked at my feet... she actually missed taking old polish off my one of my toes (it's still there even though I pointed it out). At one point she was actually sawing on the side of my toe instead of my toenail. I never ask for anything more than cut my toenails short and please don't use any scrub on my legs (I have super sensitive skin). Failed on both requests. She never actually looked at me the whole time and just shoved my feet back in the water and the yanked them back out. I actually had remind her to do my cuticles! No attempt to smooth out the polish on my toes, just left it in a bumpy glob. You can actually still see the old polish left on my pinky toe and painted over! First time in my life I haven't left a tip. read more
