The perfectly lit facial room. So relaxing.
    Jocelynn S.

Such a beautiful day spa. Quiet and comfortable. The facials are customized to your skin needs. Aesthetician, Leann, is amazing and has the perfect touch. She explains the products as she uses them. The owner, Melrose, is so sweet and knowledgeable. Call the salon for monthly specials on facials and product. This salon is stocked with a line called DMK that is world renowned and science-backed. Definitely going back for more spaahhmazing facials.

Great Find!!! Worth the search to find this salon for permanent makeup, hair, waxing and so much more! Melrose the owner is nothing short of fantastic especially at getting ready for Prom-Banquet!!

So I'm going to leave two stars because I do think that melrose is very talented and my review in the past was 5 stars. I would not have left a review if it was handled properly with an apology. To start off I had an appointment for brow wax at 10:30 I show up 5 mins before to the doors being locked the girl who answered the door looked confused so I told her I have an appointment which she says very rudely we lock the doors. Not hello welcome thanks for coming in. Than proceeded to give me dirty looks as I waited. Melrose texted me after 10:30 saying I am running behind- no I'm sorry no acknowledgement that I took time of my day to be there on time and she was running behind. No apology and to be honest I could have waited little bit longer but to have some one of your staff give dirty looks is not my idea of a good time I just wanted to get out of there. When I texted melrose about my experience she didn't even apologize. Not a good way to run a company and treat existing clients. Also ones that I have referred to her. I'm all about supporting woman in business but this was handled not good. Simple apology would have gone along way. Here below is my text to her as you can see in the text no apology and no text saying I'm sorry that my staff treated you rudely. No mater who comes in the door should always be greeted!

Sarah washed my hair, the MOST RELAXING hair wash I've ever had!! Love this place!!

Just had my hair colored and styled by Julia. I love the copper highlights she added !!! Not only did she do a fabulous job she educated me as to how to add the volume I never seem to get on my own. The Eufora powder lift she recommended is so awesome!! best place!

My new color that Gemma did. I wanted something bright and fun.

I've been with my stylist for years but she is just too far away from me these days. So I started looking for a new place closer and came across Salon Tranquility. Boy am I glad I did. The staff was super friendly. Gema did my hair and she did a fabulous job. I was looking for a major hair color change and she helped me decide on what would work best for me. The shampoo room was so relaxing and peaceful I could have fallen asleep. The staff didn't even mind that I had to bring my 2 little ones in. I will definitely be back.

We had paid the extra $40 or so to get a room on the second floor and to our surprise, the double queen room came with a nice natural spring tub and was very spacious. The pools are open late with the back part closing at midnight while the main pool and hot spas are always open. We were able to go to the pools late at night and early in the morning and it was nice to have the room right there. We saw a few people who just got the day spa passes asking about the rooms and expressing regret that they hadn't just booked rooms here. Everything was really nice including the staff and service when we ordered food and drinks near the poolside. The skyline is beautiful and to be there on July 4th, we could see the fireworks in various parts of the sky. There is plenty of parking but it is a little odd of a location as it is mainly in a residential neighborhood with a few options for food. But they maintain the property well and it was a beautiful stay at a reasonable rate. We would recommend staying here!

The gentleman who treated me was professional and attentive ensuring I felt comfortable at all times and continuously checking on me. This allows for access to more pools/ spas , complementary bathrobe during stay, and the best "bang for your buck" when it comes to cost-for-use (day pass price and spa availability vs. hotel guest price and spa availability). I would give 5 stars for the staff, namely Katie and Anthony at the front desk. They were exceptionally helpful. Katie, in particular, genuinely enjoys working here and did everything in her power to ensure my party had the best stay. I would give 1.5- 2 stars for the lack of a code of conduct or the enforcement thereof. There were so many couples who struggled with keeping their "physical passion for one another" to themselves. Many different couples were spanking each other LOUDLY in various areas of the resort. There were some couples who were getting a little too comfortable with one another in different soaking tubs, some who were getting "handsy" at the clay cove, and some who were just doing questionable behavior regardless where they were. I am a young adult and I've been around couples who have had public passion for each other- like making out at amusement parks- you know, the usual. BUT this behavior was on another level; this was out of the bounds of public decency. On the note of public decency, there were a few guests whose swimwear exposed more than it covered (if you're picking up what I'm throwing down). There was, also, one man in particular who was smoking/ taking a fat rip of his vape in front of CHILDREN. All that being said, I could NOT, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone accompanied by very young humans as a child-friendly/ family- friendly resort. Aside from those concerns, everything else met my standards. Hotel room (Stone Lodge) was clean. Towels were stocked at the pools. The temperatures were good. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not return as a day pass user (since my party and I are not locals), BUT we would come back as hotel guests.

I read so many great reviews before coming…read morein, but surprisingly, hardly anyone mentioned what I experienced except for maybe a couple of people. First, the good: the place is clean, pleasant, and welcoming. The service is good, and everyone was sweet and courteous. My friend and I had planned a little foot massage day, and this place was convenient, so we decided to give it a try. For me, a foot massage means exactly that - a FOOT massage. Something relaxing and comforting, especially for people who walk a lot or are on their feet all day. Your heels, arches, and the front of your feet are the areas that really need that nice pressure and attention. That's kind of the whole point. Unfortunately, the description of the foot massage was very different from what I actually received. And just for context, I'm definitely not new to massages. I've had foot massages in many different cities and countries throughout my travels, so I have a pretty good idea of what a foot massage is supposed to feel like. This was NOT a foot massage. I feel bad saying that because my masseuse was a very sweet lady, but she spent almost the entire time intensely pressing and poking my legs with her fingers. It genuinely hurt. I asked her to go easier, but I don't think she understood what I meant. She seemed to think I wanted less pressure overall, when really I was trying to explain that her fingers were literally poking the heck out of my leg bones. Meanwhile, my actual feet were barely touched. My heels? Not once. It was mostly constant rubbing and finger pressure on my legs, which was honestly the opposite of what I came in for. Unfortunately, it felt like a waste of money for me. I also didn't feel guilty about not tipping because my experience was genuinely uncomfortable and not at all what was advertised. I actually feel bad leaving this review because everyone was nice, and everything else about the place was great. I'm leaving this mainly as feedback for the business. Either the description of the service needs to be more accurate, or the massage therapists need to be trained so the service actually matches what's being advertised. After this experience, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable trying their other services because now I'd be wondering whether those descriptions match the actual service either. Really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, this one was a no for me. Sorry, but no thank you.
