He really understood what was wrong with my hair and took the time to understand what I wanted and what I was trying to grow my hair into eventually. He did a few small cuts to fix my hair and really made a big difference. I'm so happy I took a chance and walked in. I'll definitely be back because I need a haircutter who is kind and understanding and knows how to cut curly hair and takes his time to make sure it's right. The salon is very nice, clean, and peaceful. There is plenty of metered parking right outside on Mamaroneck Avenue and also plenty of food places to go to before or afterwards. It's a friendly and low key salon, not pretentious or intimidating, which is perfect for me.

I was charged $75 but it seemed the staff were unsure what to charge until I told them what I was quoted. Ina washed my hair and did my blow dry. She did a very nice job. She was super sweet. Sally did my haircut and was nice too. I was in and out in just under an hour. The styling added lots of volume to my hair and it's the perfect length for my needs. It could be more clear on the website that if you park in the back lot on Phillips Park Rd, you have to go inside the building, go up steps, and exit to street level, make a right and the salon is right there. I totally didn't realize I had to go upstairs and outside to access the place when coming from the back parking lot. Also, it's a bit inconvenient that they don't take card, only cash or Zelle and tips in cash only...but solid haircut and convenient location so can't complain too much!

I'm very particular about my haircuts and spent years finding the right barber when I lived in New York City, and I didn't even love the haircuts he gave me, to be honest. But they were consistent and that's the best you can hope for sometimes. I've already gotten two awesome haircuts (out of two total haircuts!) from Diego at the Fine Men's Salon of Westchester and am looking forward to going back. The guy's an absolute pro. The other staff at the salon are friendly and helpful. Also, this is a rare salon/barbershop where you are able to both pay AND tip on your credit card, so there's no pressure to hit up an ATM before your haircut. That's a huge plus for me. With regards to their COVID policies, the salon is extremely safe and I feel completely at ease from a health standpoint. Between their mask policy, mandatory hand washing station, and overall impressive cleanliness, you'll feel totally safe and relaxed getting your hair cut here during an otherwise stressful pandemic.

The point we tried to make with the woman is the service booked wasn't provided. She kept saying that we paid less anyway and would give our money back. We didn't want our money back or to argue but wanted them to be more considerate when providing a service. They should look at the service that the client booked. She was sharp and curt and it was pointless to continue. We received a review from the business that my mom had completed for me. Simple, nothing rude but not recommending the business because they don't carefully make sure a client gets the service they book. WELL don't send for feedback if you can't control your feelings when you don't like the feedback! NOPE!! We would not recommend this business to ANYONE and there are far too many of men's salons to enjoy without the attitude!
