I tend to leave with more inches of my locks cut than I initially intend going in, but it makes for healthier hair. Huge plus: the haircuts grow out beautifully and I sometimes receive compliments on my hairstyle months after I actually get it done. My mom gets her hair done by one of the owners, and I know she's happy with her cuts as well. From what I've observed, the SDV team is caring and meticulous about their work and they do stellar jobs. I can only speak to the regular wash, haircut, and blowout as I don't get any special treatments done, but you won't be disappointed. Depending on who you get, just be very clear about the length you want. They're also conscientious about your street parking costs. One time my meter was about to expire, so someone immediately went out in the cold and refilled it for me. So nice. Whether you get a 16 oz glass or a 12 oz plastic cup is up to the bartender and I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out how they were deciding who deserved the bigger, nicer glasses, and who deserved the cheaper plastic cups. The salon was spotlessly clean, and super cute. Gina was very easy to talk with which made the 2 hour appointment fly by. I'm so happy with the results! The color came out exactly the way I was hoping for, and Gina was able to give me the long layers I asked for while still keeping my length. I'll definitely return next time I need a cut & highlight!
