Located at the corner of Maple Street (one way northbound) at Silver Street, Salona Restaurant & Lounge serves American, Italian, and some Greek cuisine since the owners are Greek. The place has separate entrances for the lounge and restaurant. The menu offers pizza, calzones, subs, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, chicken, seafood, lamb, gyros, appetizers (wings, rings, skins, traditional & Italian poutines, & more), salads, soups, kid's menu, and desserts (chilled cakes). Dinner prices range from $7.95 (Spaghetti) to $24.95 (BBQ Lamb Double) with most of the dinners $10.95-$14.95 which include soup or salad. Beer and wine available. I've heard the International Haddock (topped with feta & spinach) is pretty good here. SPECIALS: On Mondays-Thursdays, Dinner For Two is offered for $18.95, which include choices of Baked Haddock, Steak Tips, Chicken Parmesan, & Eggplant Parmesan. On Fridays only, Seafood Chowder is offered. I stopped here for dinner the other night and sat myself in the dining room. The dining room has a quiet and very relaxed atmosphere with booth and table seating and framed pictures hang on the painted pink walls. The lounge in the next room offers takeout service, seating at the bar and two 20" tube TVs to watch sports and news. I felt a bit out of place here since the other customers here were all senior citizens, who seemed to be regulars. The waitress/bartender was conversing with the customers by first name. I started out with the Nachos Supreme ($6.95), piled high with baked tortilla chips, salsa, melted cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, & ground beef. It was a decent tasting typical pub dish and a very generous portion, could not finish it. For dinner, the Gyro Platter ($10.95) came with rice and a cup of soup. The Chicken Rice Soup was thick with lots of rice, small chicken pieces, carrots in a cream broth, which was served hot, but bland and lacking flavor. I wish it was Friday so I could've tried the Seafood Chowder. The Gyro Platter was generous and very tasty with strips of grilled beef/lamb, tomato, lettuce, tzatziki sauce on thick pita bread. The side of tomato rice was topped with tomato sauce. I packed up half of the dinner and skipped dessert. Overall, the food here was very filling and the service was laid back and decent. My waitress was seen running the floor in the lounge and dining room solo. A great place for lunch and dinner for seniors and for folks looking for a great bang for the buck, you won't be disappointed. NOTES: Free off-street parking lot located off Silver Street adjacent to lounge/restaurant entrances. Closed on Sundays.

We tried Solona Bar & Grill for the first time. We ordered the steak and cheese sub, steak salad, broccoli and cheese bites, chicken and rice soup, the chicken tenders kids meal. First the kids meal is big! Much larger portions than most restaurants give kids meals! The steak Tips in the salad were very good! The flavor was amazing! The steak and cheese and broccoli bites were on par with other restaurants. The chicken and rice soup is delicious! We're giving this restaurant four stars!

Greek Salad with grilled chicken. Think NOT. More like lettuce, two slices of cucumber and one slice of pepper with burnt chicken.

So disappointed paid over $95 for oil, lettuce, raw dough, and burnt chicken. They even got my desserts wrong. Never again. Stay away so not worth it. All you'll get is oil. I should of never strayed from JIMMY'S House of Pizza. NO I don't want to call your restaurant so you can make it up to me. Your food point blank is TRASH. Not even my kids wanted to finish eating. Stay away. Over priced oil spill they call food.

To say the experience was beyond disappointing in an understatement. To be clear, this review is not about the food. As loyal customers who visit Tavern in the Square often we already know and enjoy the menu. The bartender was polite and pleasant throughout the interaction, despite overcharging for food and drinks we did not order. However, the situation overall was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. We ordered one beer and a green tea shot and before we even finished the drink we were abruptly told we were "cut off". This made absolutely no sense. We were not intoxicated and had barely even started our drinks. When we asked to speak with management the only explanation we were given was that they have had fights there before. That reasoning is COMPLETELY illogical what does that have to do with us as individuals? If that is truly their policy then why was not everyone else at the bar treated the same way? We tried multiple times speaking with the waitress and management to get a clear and consistent answer, but no one could provide one. The responses were vague inconsistent and frankly concerning. At that point we could not help but question whether we were being singled out unfairly. When we raised that concern the staff could not provide any reassurance or clarification they simply avoided the question. For context, we are loyal Tavern in the Square customers and have made over 80 reservations at various locations since January of this year. We have NEVER experienced anything like this before at any of the MA locations. This situation was embarrassing, confusing, and unacceptable. We will NEVER return to this location. Based on this experience we do not recommend this location to others given our concerns about fairness and how we were treated. I have reached out and expect a clear response from corporate explaining what happened here.

Rebels also has other locations around NH inside other Revo Casino locations in Dover, Keene, Lebanon, and Conway. They offer great daily specials here including $5 handhelds (12-3pm), $3 drafts (4-7pm) and 25 percent off food. I've been to the Rebels in Dover several times and that location has also pretty good street tacos there. This location still has the same feel as Filotomo which has a full service bar with seating and table seating along the walls. There are flatscreen TVs, scratch tickets machine, and Keno here. Anyways, I stopped by Rebels in Manchester for dinner recently. The bartender gave me a menu to look at and I got a complementary Revo bottled water. The food menu here offers a selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads, chowder, flatbread pizzas, main entrees (steak, ribs, pork, pasta, seafood, chicken tenders, beef prime rib), and desserts, same food as the other locations. Much of the Greek Italian American menu of the former Filotomo, is now at Fotia down the street. The prices seem fair here. The bar has 16 draft beers, bottle/can beers, wine, liquor and cocktails. I ordered the Birria Pizza ($11 plus tax) and the Clam Baked Cod ($16 plus tax), both coming out to me at the same time in about 12 minutes. The Birria Pizza flatbread was topped with soft spiced beef, caramelized onions & melted cheese on top of a firm crunchy dry crust, consome dipping broth on the side. The Clam Baked Cod was comprised of a soft baked cod filet with herb seasoned breadcrumb topped with Boston clam chowder, couscous, red onions, roasted red bell pepper, tomatoes, zucchini, mushroom, garlic. I finished both food items, as I was all set. The check was presented which came out to $21.97 with tax, after discount, and before tip. Overall, another pretty good meal at Rebels and attentive service at the bar. I will continue to eat at Rebels whenever I'm already at Revo Casino and DraftKings Sportsbook.
