The first LUSH I ever went to was the one in Vegas. Since then, I've seen them at lots off malls. I love coming during Halloween to buy their bat, pumpkin, and other Halloween themed bath bombs. Went here at 1pm on a Monday and the doors were locked, we had walked by an hour earlier and it looked closed, next time tried to go in and nobody came out to say we're not open yet or anything. No sign saying we'll open at __. Just kinda weird. Have been to this store before and it's pretty good. They have a lot of different items to try - too many probably. But they smell nice, most work pretty well and the prices are $$$ but last a pretty long time and have stuff you can't really find anywhere else. read more

Have been coming here for years! At the suggestion of someone working here I started using the Dream Cream on my eczema prone kid. I was so skeptical and didn't expect much but it works so well for him. The sales people are pretty awesome and always really cool at helping my kids. We went tonight and Summer worked with both kids to help them pick out stuff tailored to their needs and made them feel so special. Thank you Summer! I recently learned about shampoo bars and the ones that LUSH make seemed to have the highest ratings so I decided to make the trek to Pacific City to check them out. The young woman who greeted and helped me out at this location was really great--personable and knowledgeable (I wish I could remember her name). She took me through all their different shampoo and conditioner bars, demonstrated how they should be used, and let me know about their generous return policy (if you don't like something, even after you've used it, you can bring it back). I also love it that they try to be as minimal with their packaging as possible. Overall a very pleasant and productive shopping experience. read more

My 6yo son loves bath bombs, and we stopped in this store after a lunch date with some friends. Jason helped us out, and he was so sweet with my son. He helped my kiddo understand the difference between the bubble bars and the bath bombs and let him know that the gift box he selected has stickers in it! Score! My son said it best: "Oh, we are definitely going back there because he was so nice!" I also have to thenk Jason for the lip balm recommendation. I'm obsessed. The store has a good selection. The visit to Lush occurred shortly after arriving in California. Since we ladies were with other people who were not interested in smelling nice, this was a quick perusal. The staff was friendly. Emphasis seems to be on bath bombs. The natural cosmetics and hair products sounded worthwhile. At the time, I had hoped these shops were more plentiful. So a return will be a pleasant destination. Good service. Everyone is bright and cheery per usual in a Lush store. However this store has TERRIBLE quality control - my fresh face mask was half empty and my sample isn't even filled. The sample I understand but seriously half of my face mask missing?! I should've opened everything before I left. I came home to disappointment. I took a break from visiting Lush because a long time ago I tried one of their masks and I wasn't a fan. The only thing I would say I am a fan of is their fun bath bombs, but for $8 a piece I can go to other stores and get a kit of 4 for $10-$12, etc. However, I was in the area with my 12 year old little sister and she pleaded to visit this place. Something about this place attracts young girls I guess. From their colorful items to the various smells; some people are just obsessed! Anywho, I took my time to browse around and was immediately offered help. I informed the employee I was just browsing and she left me alone after but made sure to remind me she was available if I needed help. After touching and smelling various things I had a whole bunch of questions for certain products so I did ended up going back to the same employee for help (Totally didn't catch her name). She took her time with me, answered my questions, had me try on a few products, and gave me time to make my final decisions without rushing me. When I was all done, she checked me out, offered a store catalog, and thanked me for shopping. Thumbs up! I ended up purchasing the Roots hair mask, dusting powder, and my sister got a bath bomb for about $45. Although I really wanted to buy the coconut hand scrub (smelled like play dough in the jar, but left my hand smelling super good after I washed it off), it came in only 2 sizes. The small size isn't worth buying because it was quite small, the big size was $30 which I thought was too much for a hand scrub. Maybe next time! I'm giving this location 4 stars for their store front and customer service. If I enjoy the products and return I'll definitely do an updated review. read more

Talk about an overpriced fru-fru boutique of bath items you never knew existed and won't miss for a second if you don't have. The staff is rude, pretentious and affected--they strike me as very fake people who secretly hate their jobs and interacting with the general public. Any chance they get to stick it to the customer, they will. Save your money and go buy fancy bath items that actually look fancy and high-end instead of like something homemade (and designed on a shoestring budget). The amount you spend here for their products doesn't match up with the presentation and packaging of the goods. read more
