This location is tucked into The Arbor Village Center so it's surrounded by other eateries and businesses. Most people familiar with this plaza know that parking is a headache during lunch and dinner hours. I would not want to be here if it was overly crowded, but thankfully that wasn't the case when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. My friend recently visited Japan so she wanted to stop by to show me their popular haircare products. We ended up spending a whole hour here and I've added more products to my wishlist for the near future. I also walked out with a purchase and can't wait to try it. Notes: ~ Hours of operation are 11:30 AM - 8:30 PM daily ~ Opened in 2018 and it's a smaller store but they still carry wide range of cosmetics, skin/hair/oral/ personal hygiene care products, toys, snacks and lifestyle items (not just Japanese ones, but also trendy Korean and a couple of Chinese brands) ~ Prices are actually not outrageous (some products appear cheaper than the Japanese and Korean markets) ~ Aisles are a bit more narrow here so please be patient ~ There's a spacious sink in the back of the store for hand washing after testing out the wide variety of beauty products ~ Store associates are nice and ready to help find any product ~ Partnered with Fivestars for their loyalty program ~ Sometimes they offer deals like spend $50+ to receive a free gift ~ Products approaching end of shelf life are placed right by the checkout counter (items can be between 30-70% off) ~ Mobile payment accepted

Run! Don't walk...seriously!…read more Dr Heinrich messed up my upper lip with painful filler injections! At least they are not permanent. That's the only good thing I have to say here. During my long first appointment, in which he spent 90% of the time with small talk about baseball, I told him I was here to look into lip wrinkle filler injections. I didn't want big puffed up lips...just some filler in a couple of the deep wrinkles on my upper lip. He said he would only use a little of the $725 vial at each procedure over time. His sweet nurse said they save the unused filler in the vial (marked as mine) for future injections, as needed. But when he actually did my first procedure, he injected the WHOLE vial!! Both his nurse and I were surprised...and to this day I don't know why he did it. Maybe he didn't remember that he was only supposed to fill a couple of wrinkles with some, not all, of the vial. Maybe he forgot our conversation. Maybe he didn't read his notes prior to my procedure. Maybe he didn't even make notes of the process we had agreed on!! Maybe he hoped I'd just buy more!! Maybe he just didn't care. Whatever, I ended up with my upper lip all puffed up, and of course I complained about it...which resulted in me having to get multiple needles to REMOVE the filler. All of these injections were terribly painful. I did ask for, and get, a refund...because now I had nothing but pain for my money!!! But my lip still looks odd on one side as there is still some filler in it...here and there...not even evenly. I will have to wait around nine months for the remnants to dissolve. I would never go back to him again, even if it was for free!!!

From his efficient office staff, to his back office staff to Dr. Heinrich himself , it has been an actual pleasant experience, despite the awful circumstances. The cancer on my jaw required a very large excision. Somehow Dr. Heinrich magically pulled skin from behind my ear, around my neck and covered the large hole on my face/jaw. It's only been a few weeks but I'm healing well! Thank you Dr. Heinrich and staff for taking care of me so well!! I feel blessed to have found you!

I went to the store and another associate, Taylor recommended a different product than the one I had come to pick up. When I told her I do not purchase that particular line because they're known for animal testing, she became combative and telling me I was wrong. I am not wrong. I've done a lot of research on the subject and she is repeating lines she's been told to tell customers . It is a well known fact that China and other countries still insist on animal testing and her insistence on spewing incorrect information was off putting and rude. Do your research before you call yourself an aesthetician and treat customers with respect. The associate at Ulta Beauty is repeating Clinique's official statement--but your understanding about China is the key nuance. Here's the accurate, current breakdown: Clinique's official policy Clinique says: * They do not conduct animal testing themselves * They do not ask suppliers to test * Except where required by law That last clause is the deciding factor. The China factor (this is where confusion comes from) China historically required animal testing for imported cosmetics. Since 2021, rules changed: * Many "general cosmetics" (like moisturizer, foundation, shampoo) can now be sold without mandatory animal testing if certain paperwork and safety requirements are met * However, animal testing can still occur in some situations, such as: * Special-use cosmetics (sunscreen, hair dye, etc.) * Missing documentation * Post-market safety investigations Because Clinique sells in mainland China, they must agree to comply if authorities require testing. * Therefore: Clinique is not classified as cruelty-free

They didn't even have my order ready. It's a joke! Whatever happened to servicing the customer and having mature people who know the product and our knowledgeable. Today it just seems like all you get are these young kids who just need a job but have no clue what they're doing.
