BEWARE! Salon has zero regard for the incompetence of their independent contractors hairstylists. Gracie ruined my hair twice. Uneven lift, root glow, blotchy tone job. I gave her the opportunity to fix her mistakes and she left bleach in the back section of my hair. She caused more damaged and still botched the tone leaving my hair uneven and ruined!!! I'll have to pay another stylist over $300 to correct. Keep your money and run! Owner disregarded my concerns. Leaving bleach in someone's hair can cause a scalp burn. I will be taking this stylist to small claims to recoup everything and also have submitted a complaint to the Board of cosmetology. read more

I got eyelash extensions for the first time. I forgot the name of the woman that did the service and she was nice... although all the pictures I was showing her of the lash extension inspiration pictures (classic set) she kept saying it's not worth it. She also kept saying it's not lash extensions and that those (my pictures, of other lash techs with the name of the set and the length of the lash) rather they were a perm and tint. So already she was lying for no reason. She then said okay to one of the pictures I showed her of the classic sets, I laid down already iffy since she lied about other pictures not being extensions. And when I got up from the service I wanted to cry and tell her to take them ALL off. They were a volume set and I hated them, I felt ugly and you could visibly see it on my face. She kept saying she purposely put more since a ton fall out and that in 2 or 3 days they will be that perfect classic set. I told her to take them off or at least some off and she said it won't be worth it because then in those 2 of 3 days I won't have any more lashes. At this point I just wanted to leave. The next day my eye lids hurt super bad, they were sore when I blinked and hurt to touch. I later found out that this was not normal. She also glued more than one hair to the extension causing extra pain. I felt ridiculous with the lashes on and as soon as it stopped hurting to touch I would try my best every day to take as many lashes as I could off. This experience made me never want lash extensions ever again. I don't have pictures of them because I just hated them so much but I'll add sort of what I wanted and what I got. read more

I've been getting salon services at Villagio for over four years now. Casey is my go-to for my hair, but every stylist I've spoken with is so friendly. They've recently renovated and the majority of the hair stylist have completely partitioned off spaces. Other services I've tried are facial waxing and acrylic nails. The aesthetician for facials and waxing is in a separate section of the business, very quiet and relaxing. You'd never know that they're are blow dryers going right in the next area. The manicure/pedicure area is nice and spacious. Another treat is fruit infused water, coffee, and cookies for clients. It's a nice touch when waiting in the lush, product filled reception area. read more

Taryn is AMAZING!! I can send her a picture ahead of time for color and/or cut, or just tell her what i was thinking when u get there. Even if I have no clue what I want and tell her to do what she thinks will look good- I have NEVER been disappointed. She has accommodated my work schedule for nearly 10 years; I couldn't ask for a better stylist, and now, good friend. The missing star is because the salon will not allow hair dryer use. Therefore, Taryn can't style my hair the way I want. I know if several blow out bars that use dryers; I don't understand why this salon owner won't allow them. read more

I was taking my boyfriend's mother to get her nails done and I am going to be honest, it wasn't great. For my first time getting my nails done since covid, I wasn't that impressed. My nail tech did an ok job but she kept filing over and over in spots and it ended up giving me a file burn in multiple places on my fingers. She didn't paint my nails all the way so it looks half done and she made me feel like I was an inconvenience the entire time. Saying things like, "it's a good thing my last appointment canceled or we would be screwed.".... once she was done she told me the total and as I went to hand her my card, she said, "oh, we don't take card...cash only." I feel like that is something that should have been told to me one of the 5 times that I spoke with an employee there while setting up the appointment. She stared at me for a while before she told me that they had an ATM I could use. It was all pretty awkward to say the least. I went to the ATM to pull out the $140, when it told me there was a $60 limit. So not only was I not told before hand that I would need cash so I could pull out money with no charge from my bank down the street from my home, now I have to pay $7 ATM fee that was faulted to them for not telling me. I got my 1st $60 out and went to get the second amount when the ATM gave me an error message saying that it was out of money..... Imagine my complete and utter embarrassment when my boyfriends mother had to pay $100 of it and I had to drive to the bank afterwards to pay her back. When I tipped the technician, she still looked at me like it wasn't enough. Overall, this was not the experience that I was expecting. Which is disappointing because the shop is beautiful and it's just down the street from my house. read more

I have been coming to this salon for almost 2 years now. I usually grow tired of the same place/stylist and make changes every few years - not any longer. Tiffany is wonderful and is also the owner. The pride she takes in her salon, the staffing, aesthetics, product choices and overall comfort of the clientele is second to none. She truly cares about her business and making everyone happy. I love all of the little things that, at the end of the day, are big things. The flavored water, coffee, tea, fresh chocolate chip cookies - these things add up and they are nice to see/partake in when you are there.
