I have been a customer of sola salon going on 5 years! this review is long overdue lol. Tonya has been doing my hair all this time and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would! I am always treated so nicely by her and also Kim that works in the same salon room. Their location is right in the front of the building and has nice natural light coming in through the windows. Which is the whole front of their salon. It is always pristine clean. They offer beverages and small treats. They're products offered for sale on the shelves are priced very well! Beyond competitive. I just think these two ladies are the best and deserve a shout out for all they do!!! Highly recommend them. read more

Maya has been doing my hair for almost 2 yrs and to find the right hair stylist is always hard to do. Maya Gee also sells hair supplies and facial creams. She does eye brow also. I have been going to Kim Fralick for over 10-years now. I wouldn't trust anybody else with my hair. I am very picky. Kim has seen me through long hair, short hair, blonde, brunette, straight, curly and even bangs. I bring her a picture and she works with what would look best on me. She suggests highlights and low lights when I need them and is always up-to-date on the latest trends. The best part is that she is super cool and two hours fly by because we can talk forever. Lola's hair chair is THE BEST!!! Lola has been doing my hair a long time and is the ONLY person I trust to cut and color it, Lola uses Paul Mitchell hair products. The colors are incredible and last a long time before fading, but what's great about it when it does fade a bit the color it goes to is still awesome. My hair gets Sooooo many compliments all the time, the cut she does to it and the colors she uses are hands down the best. I was super happy when I found a highly recommended waxer in reno that worked at Sola. My first experience, however, was one of the worst most unprofessional things I have ever seen. I was walking to my appointment when I suddenly heard screaming coming from one of the rooms. Concerned, I peered around the corner to see a nail tech screaming profanities and telling another worker "you're trash no one wants you here". I could not believe this type of behavior was allowed in a professional environment. When I went in to the room my waxer occupied I asked if this went on a lot to which she sighed heavily and said the girl that was screaming was best friends with the manager and nothing would be done. I am completely appalled and will be telling anyone who asks for a recommendation to stay away from a place that encourages bullying of staff! read more

So not pleased with how my hair turned out. I left looking the same way I came in, there's no change I dont think my hair had color in it long enough. When I talk to the stylist she said she would"try" again but couldnt promise anything. My hair is already blonde and im not far off from the color I want. I dont feel comfortable going back to the stylist because shes not even confident in her work. Im pretty upset with this experience and will not be returning and the owner could care less its all ab po ut the money cause she even told me that well they are their own and private salon. Well thats noce but I guess they dont have a boss. Im just saying do your reasearch throughouly before seeing a stylist, I went threw pictures she had posted from other clients on her website and can say im super shocked at my out come.But you never reaLly know what youll get.Im SO NOT HAPPY. read more

These women are not only talented and super easy to get along with, they make you feel special at every appointment. Rubi has a unique ability to make you look amazing every time; and take your ideas for hair color, cut and makeup, and make them an even better reality. And Megan is so gentle and can fix even the hairiest of situations ;) also these girls sell the best products. I am totally addicted to Rubi's Unite line it has saved my hair. read more
