If you like phenomenal crust on your pizza, if you like lots topping piled on, if you like good service, this is the place for you. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Small pizza is 4 large pieces and for 85% of the universe, prepare to take some home! I had mushrooms and ground beef on the white pizza (ricotta & mozzarella based) and you couldn't see the cheese for all those yummy toppings. Oh, yes, all of us who came last night (a dozen of us) are still talking about how great the crust tastes and will definitely come back. Worth the drive. Great value on great pizza! read more

Another superb dining experience .... Excellent toasted ravioli, onion rings and wings for appetizers to start off with. We also ordered a super special 17" pizza, pizza roll (gosh it was huge!) and that was enough for for adults and a young adult (son got the pizza roll). Ordered take out Got a cheeseburger deluxe and aSal's steak and cheese sub. They were packed carefully so that when I got home they were still hot/delicious and not leaking through packaging. Both were delicious and well worth what I paid. The staff was friendly and there were several "regulars " in there joking around with the staff. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. read more

Good food, good prices, friendly staff. Big fan of the subs and the pizzas. The steak and cheese sub is a personal favorite.

I've always liked Sal's. It can be a shock to walk in off of Hull Street and find nice linens on the tables. But the food is always great. I recommend the White Pizza, (with artichokes and feta), and the Sal's Super Special Pizza, (basically with everything). Nice people and good food. I went for the first time and was more than satisfied across the board! Service was great, I got greeted multiple times by different people. They were efficient and quick with taking my order. Some of the people working stopped to have a conversation with me which was nice for a change. Happy hour was going on at the moment so while I waited for my food (I was taking it to go) I sat at the bar and got a drink for a nice low price. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. 2 large slices of pepperoni pizza for only around $5, and it was delicious! The crab stuffed shrimp pasta was really good, even though I added some extra garlic powder on it (I like my pasta garlicky). I have already recommended to friends, and It's close to my house so I will definitely be back! read more

My friends and I visited Sal's this past Friday for some appetizers and sandwiches. We had the mozzarella sticks and garlic bread to start, solid cheesy choices. I had a miller light on draft, it came in a mug for under 2.50- I liked that. The steak and cheese sub was good, nice amount of meat on the sub. The club was tasty as well. The restaurant set-up is interesting, they have a half wall/ half glass barrier going through the middle of the place making it feel choppy IMO. Our server was really nice but seemed slightly disoriented and forgot to bring our refills for quite some time. All in all, the food was good, and I would like to return for some Italian classics. read more

this is the worst establishment ive ever stepped foot into. the management is rude. all the male workers made me feel so uncomfortable i couldnt even use the restroom and when i told management he laughed at me. I walked out. the food looked so bad it wasnt even worth it. I felt so disgusted by the roaches on the floor, the slander thrown at me in spanish (im white but my friend with me was on hispanic heritage), and the kitchen was disgusting. you could obviously tell it was all microwaved and plastic wrapped cooked food. It was an awesome sight, all those pizzas stacked up. We ordered three different pies. They came out fast and hot. Crust was crisp on the bottom and soft on the top.
