Supreme add black olives

The Supreme Pizza and Stromboli Was So Good. I Think I Have Found My "Go To Pizza" Spot In Suffolk.

Wings

I had the wings there they smelled like old oil and weren't cooked properly. The pizza was Good. But they need to do better with the wings.

You can see there's definitely not extra cheese on there.

I have been ordering pizza to-go from Sal's, off and on for years. I always place the same order: 18" deluxe, extra cheese, light sauce, and well done. It's a $25 pizza. Occasionally I have received my order and it wasn't quite well done enough, or there was a little more sauce than I cared for, but I never complained about it. Today, I received my pizza with the least amount of "extra cheese" I have ever seen. Aside of the fact that the order taker sent the ticket in wrong; light cheese, extra sauce, which she told me about, and said she verbally corrected the order, I did not receive a pizza that had anywhere near the amount of cheese that was usually on it. I had waited for my husband to come home, to eat with him. I called to complain when I realized that the pizza didn't have extra cheese. I explained it to the first person, who put me on the phone with Becky; apparently the manager. She claimed she made the pizza herself, and definitely put extra cheese on there. She said that my definition of "extra cheese" must be different than their policy. I explained that this pizza looked nothing like my past orders; all of which had extra cheese, and that you could see the sauce through this one. Her solution to my problem, was to have me request to speak with her the next time I ordered, so she could use my definition of "extra cheese" to make it. I assured her that her definition must be different than everyone else that's ever made my pizza, and asked what she planned to do to make it right. Becky: "What do you want?" Me: "I want you to remake my pizza. I did not receive what I ordered." More of her arguing about how much cheese she claims she put on there. I freely admit that, at that point, nearly 30 years in the retail, restaurant, and hospitality business got the better of me. I schooled her on Customer Service Etiquette when it came to replacing incorrect orders. Her response was to say that people lie, so the Customer being Always Right isn't their policy. (Essentially, she was refusing to remake my order without directly saying so.) I told her I will never purchase another item from them, and hung up. Becky was rude, unprofessional, and has zero Customer Service skills. You can serve the best food on earth, but if you have a manager like her, she's going to eventually kill your business.

Cheese pizza with extra cheese! We added our own basil!

First time here for dinner and it did Not disappoint, didn't think dinner could to lunch but it did. It was busier too and service was excellent and food still amazing and didn't take forever either. Can you say WINNING!! I had their fettuccine chicken Alfredo for the first time and it was rather tasty. Typically I add broccoli, but I didn't and it was still yummy. My daughter actually got my usual the baked ziti which she enjoyed and I ordered a to go one to take home to my bottomless pit son and youngest daughter too. We opted for no desserts because we were just too full but think I'll have to make a return trip just for dessert one day because those looked yummy as well!! It wasn't too noisy at night, but definitely a tad louder than during the day but to be expected on a busy holiday weekend. Parking is ample in this shopping center so no worries here on that. If you have TV's in the dining area or you serve pizza or beer? It's not fancy. The cake was really good. The pasta wasn't bad. Bread could've been better. Salad was fine. I'd go back if I had some money to spend and was in the area.

We came for lunch and had a wonderful meal. I have not had a better pizza than this in many years!…read moreIt reminded me of the pizzas I used to get in New Jersey back in the 60's. (Yes, the 1960's.) The crust was soft and flavorful. (I usually cannot taste the salt in pizza dough but I sure can tell if it's omitted! Al Forno's was perfect.) The sauce was delicately but perfectly seasoned. We added feta cheese and onion to the pizza. The cheese serving was generous and the onion flavor really came through. The side order meatball was larger and tastier than most other restaurant's meatballs. It was served in a bed of marinara sauce with a basil leaf adornment. My ravioli was tender and sized just right. The dining area was sparkling clean. Our service was friendly and reliable. The only issue we had was that we had to move from a booth to a table as the raised rim that kept the seat cushion in place was cutting into our thighs, making it a little uncomfortable. I look forward to being a regular customer!

It came out to about $100. The "Pizza Delish" wasn't even that good. Crust was ok. Didn't seem to have any sauce or seasoning. MINIMAL cheese, and I couldn't even tell that there was feta on it. It claimed to have "caramelized onions," ummm no---it was very obvious that said onions were put on the pizza raw prior to going into the oven. The "roasted peppers" were bland. Their cake was delicious but not enough to redeem their lack of quality and pricing with the pizza. Go to Joe's in Camptown--theyre less expensive and a heck of a lot better.

The food, service, great $40 wines that would be $100 in another setting. Home made Gelato that makes me beg for more. Scallops and shrimp arribiata. The best I have ever had. Max will make a thin & crispy crust pizza that is spectacular. I almost hate providing this honest review. They have been reproducing excellence in food, service and value for 10 years.

The restaurant was advertised as being open for two more hours. They were slow so they decided to close early. Called to place an order. They asked when could we get there cause they were ready to go. Annoyed that I called and wanted to spend money. 2) Called about having an after funeral reception there. I said I wasn't sure how many people would be coming. Maybe 15. I was told 15-20 was fine but 25 was not ok. And the owner said I needed to call him the day of the funeral as early as possible to let him know exactly how many people were coming. I understand. It's a small place. But on the day of a funeral I don't have that kind of time.. Finally, we got a head count. I called to let him know we were coming and how many. I then asked if they offered a military discount. My family is all military. We are burying a vet. He said no discount. So I said ok well I'm going to reach out to another venue to see if they do and I'll get back to you. At this point he berated me. He told me it was disrespectful to call another place. He said he had military in his family. But it didn't matter. He told me it was rude to want to try another place trying to get a discount. I told him the love we had for his company. How I had family members who worked for him. Who followed him from one restaurant to his current restaurant. And still he acted like I was horrible for wanting to shop around for a group event! Never ever will I give this man or his family our money! There's no compassion. No heart. It's Italian food! It's suppose to come from the soul. Well there's no soul here. If the owner had said that's ok. Just let me know. We wouldve gone with them regardless because we love the food so much. But no more. I cannot put money in the pockets of a man so greedy. So uncompassionate. Have a heart. Care about your customers. You're food could be crap. But if you have heart they'll look past it.

I remember eating from this place years ago but I couldn't recall if it was very good or not good…read morebut in my mind I said it must be very good cuz it's coming to mind. As a result, my husband and I went by here yesterday to pick up two large pizzas for a pizza party we were having for my aunt who's celebrating another birthday. Happy birthday Aunt Donna! Nevertheless, we arrived about 3:30p 3:45p on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. My husband was able to walk in order two pizzas and we were in and out and about 20-25 minutes. We drove another 15 minutes to the house before we began to dive into the pizza. We ordered the thin crust with only pepperoni and oh my gosh it was so good!! Again we attended a pizza party and this was the best pizza hands down out of I think six places people brought pizza from this was the first to go so good so fresh! I love thin crust highly recommend you check out Rita's if you haven't before. The parking no issue at all and you don't necessarily need to call it in either you can just walk up order your pizza and get it in a reasonable amount of time. It's located in a shopping center in Portsmouth so you have other shops that you can browse around well not necessarily shop, but I believe there is a brewery next door but your time will not be wasted while waiting for this goodness! Perfectly cooked. The Greek Salad was good but I have had better. Very basic with canned olives and iceburg. Good enough. I would order again when I am at my moms and she is wanting a pizza with peppers and onions. It's also reasonably priced and they do have some carry out specials.
