Her name is Cheryl. We were on the upper level. She made our tasting very memorable. Please ask for her. The ambiance was over the top with all the paraphernalia from Coppola's movies. It's so much FUN. Thanks to Cheryl, I will always remember this as the best vineyard ever!!

The restaurant is the building to the left as you enter as well as the museum. We ordered the 3 course menu with wine pairing for what I thought was a great price. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the wine pairings. The crab fritter with caviar: 3.5 stars. It was a fried potato ball with minimal crab. The caviar and accompanying sauce is what made the dish. The mushroom risotto: 3 stars. Perhaps it's because I don't care for risotto - too moist for rice. However the flavor was good, albeit a little salty. The mushroom were cooked for perfection and delicious, wish I had more. The salmon with broccolini:3 stars. cooked to order. I like mine well done due to preventions of parasites. But it was still moist. The accompanying sauce did not help flavor much but I guess I could have put more salt. I really enjoy the veggies in the dish. The broccolini was cooked the way I like and the rings of squash were tender and sweet. The hubby got the beef shoulder for his third course:5 stars. Tender and falls apart much like a pot roast. Flavorful as well. Apple tart and ice cream: 4 stars. I actually enjoyed the dish. Not too sweet. You can taste all the flavors and texture. Over all we had a great time with the wine, food was accompaniment. The museum was fun to stroll thru as well.

We decided to share several dishes family-style, which was the perfect way to sample a variety of menu items. Every single dish was a 10+ in my book! The food was absolutely delicious, and I can see why my friends keep coming back. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The restaurant was easy to find, and I loved the charming décor it felt like a genuine Italian restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of my favorite surprises was the Limoncello Spritz. After a day of wine tasting, it was the perfect light and refreshing drink to end the day. Great food, outstanding service, and a wonderful dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

My party sat down at the bar and it did appear the majority of the people at the bar were also eating. The Bartender and At this point our server also was incredibly. She was so busy every single one of the bar seats was taken, and she did a fantastic job balancing all of it. Overall the food was an exceptional experience. For starters we got the truffle fries, and A Minestrone soup. The truffle fries were delicious, and had a bit if a kick to them so if you dont like spicy keep that in mind. The Soup was delicious and a great size for the small soup portion. I ordered the Lasagna with meat sauce and its light delicate layers were delicious, and perfectly balanced with the cheese. The server was helpful and informative and told my friend about the Mushroom cream sauce for her ravioli that if you love mushrooms you'll love it but if you don't then steer away. And we LOVE mushrooms and the ravioli paired perfectly with the heavy mushroom cream sauce. We also got the Steak and ordered it medium rare, when it came to us and it was closer to blue/rare the server/bartender didn't hesitate to apologize and in a flash take it back. The cooks remade it and it was perfectly medium rare with that nice browning on the outside and a small bit it pink in the center. We were very satisfied and it was such a lovely touch the manager did come out before the end of our meal to ensure we were satisfied and apologized for the discrepancy in the meal. The fact it was busy every single table full and the bar also being full and the manager still coming to ensure our satisfaction was what true hospitality is all about!! 100000% recommendations for this place and will be coming back!

Our guide was wonderful and friendly, the horses were absolute gems, and overall this is one of the best trail ride experiences I've ever had. Getting the mountains, water, and some redwoods was fantastic! We were fortunate to be in a small group (us and two others). It made the ride feel more intimate. I rode El Negro and highly recommend. His gait is smooth! (He is a walking horse after all). My boyfriend rode Leslie who was a bit slow and liked to trail at the back but sure footed and a sweetheart. We ended the ride with a glass of wine overlooking the lake. This space is often use for weddings as well and I can absolutely see the appeal! I would love to go back some day!!

If you only read one review, read this one! First, their music venue offering is quite good,…read morebeverage service in more than one area, usually food and ice cream, vendors varying event to event, live music, dancing, roping, cornhole. After going to the music venue for a summer, our son decided to get married there, and at first everything went smoothly, the owner we dealt with was Nikki and she was quite a good communicator, friendly and engaging, business like, although became a brusque and a bit snippy as the wedding grew closer. Our wedding planner sheltered us from most of it but said "this is how she talked to me the entire time". Not quite what we expected when you are throwing $10K + their way for a 5 hour time slot. Note: The bride bought her wedding dress from The Ranch during a wedding dress expo they put on. We invested in these people!!!! The 1-star is because when the wedding was complete and we were cleaning up, it was discovered we had danced on some rose petals in one section of the concrete in the barn, there was some staining from the red petals which we offered to clean up. At this point we were dealing with the husband, not Nikki. He didn't allow us to try to clean, as he was worried the cleaning might harm the sealer. He said it was sealed once a year, but in a manner that wasn't visible, nor an actual vapor barrier to the concrete as it can't be slippery when wet for safety. He said they had the concrete mottled with a brownish color and didn't want to possibly harm that with our cleaning. We were going to use water and Dawn dish soap as a start, mixing with some rubbing alcohol if needed, this is safe for concrete and grout. You can view previous pictures from others with time stamps, my pictures are time stamped 6/27/26 and you can "maybe" see what they are talking about, you can also see the concrete is far from perfect, many marks, cracks and stains. So, while we offered to clean it that night, or the next morning, we were refused. My son had taken out a $1MILLION insurance policy for this 5 hour event, and The Ranch has kept our $250 safety/cleaning deposit and filed a claim with the insurance, which is a $1000 deductible to us + the $200 for the policy. We also have email from Nikki exclaiming surprise that we are "coming at them this way". (Offering the insurance policy???) We tried to clean, were denied, and offered the insurance as well, what more could we do...but more importantly folks, this is a horse ranch! They didn't even clean up all the poop in the yard where we could walk! But our rose petals were the breaking point? It is noteworthy that there is NO clause in their contract denying rose petals. This is a wedding, so it's quite common for a flower girl to toss petals in the aisle. They are claiming that this concrete is special, was treated to simulate the look of leather because they are a horse ranch, and our rose petals have stained the concrete ruining the vibe for their music events and future weddings. (We have been to music events where they have had large carpets covering the entire seating area, with chairs on top, effectively hiding this concrete and the leather vibe they claim to want to portray. The staining was so very minor that we are worried the insurance will deny the claim and come after our son personally. Think about this for a minute - wedding, roses, minor staining that they have probably already cleaned up, it's a ranch where horses walk and do their thing, and they are making a really really large deal about this. I think this speaks to their character and just want anyone else looking to have their event here, to consider our experience. For us, we will not be attending another music event, we will share our experience with all that we know, and I hope that somehow the owners learn from this, and relax their stance and attitude a little, and realize that folks don't go to a horse ranch or a music venue to inspect the concrete. If this wasn't so serious for us, it would quite a laughable manner. Thank you if you have read this far. IMPORTANT: If the owners read this review and contact us to drop this frivolous claim, I will remove, or edit this review to 5-stars, because other then the "staining and complaining" this was a 5+ star experience for the rest of us!!!

When I tell you that my friend and I were hooked from beginning to end during our tasting, I am not kidding you. Reece was absolutely phenomenal and so was our entire tasting experience at Zialena. After passing by Zialena several times on my trips to DeLorimier, my friend and I finally decided to check them out for a tasting. You know I have to start off with their estate and grounds. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I will always be a fan of classic winery setups, BUT... I LOVED the modernized look of Zialena! The exterior of their building alone is so eye catching and unique. And then you walk inside and think, damn this place is so chic and hip! I love the artwork, I love the stylish tables and chairs with the bright orange seat cushions, I love the youthful and fun atmosphere and vibe. It's just wonderful. Those views! I underestimated how great they'd be because you can't see much from the outside. But once you're sitting on their patio, the views seem to be endless. Countless views of the hills and their beautiful vineyards. It helped that it was a stunning day outside too. Reece set us up on their side patio which was glorious. Now about this wine; fan-freakin-tastic! I loved every single wine that I tried. All were scrumptious. I'll get more into the wines in a bit, but first I'm gonna tell you a little bit about what I learned from Reece. Although the actual tasting room is newish, the winery is a fourth generation run operation by the Mazzoni family. The family hails from Italy and they've been harvesting grapes and producing wine for years. The winery is actually named after their Great Aunt Lena (Zia Lena in Italian). Mark and Lisa (sister and brother) are the owners and they also run the winery. Zialena grows grapes for over 90 different varietals and all of them are estate grown! That's right; those vineyards that surround their property are actually their own. They use whole cluster fermentation to produce their wines which basically means that they ferment the grapes with the stems (the stems aren't removed). This allows for more of an elaborate flavor profile in their wines. They also ferment in concrete with the top open. Never really heard of open top fermentation prior to coming here, but it allows for more oxygen to come in contact which helps with faster yeast production amongst other things. Alright, let me take my geeky wine brain hat off for a second. Reece had us completely engaged during this tasting. I literally started taking notes because it was so much interesting information. But those wines, dear GEEZUS! So, so good. Their unique fermentation techniques really paid off because their wines are so rich and complex. We tasted one welcoming white wine (Sauvignon Blanc) and 4 reds which were all incredible. The Cappella Red Blend was to DIE for and undoubtedly my favorite wine of the bunch. The spices were so pronounced but yet the wine went down oh so smooth. Took a bottle of that and I don't think it even lasted a few days. Reece was so knowledgeable and confident. This man probably could have sold us the earth and we would have bought it. Seriously. So engaging and we loved it. But wow, I'm impressed. Zialena is a one of a kind.
