I love DeLorimier! The setting is wine country bucolic. The buildings are sort of California craftsman style and there is beautiful wisteria growing on the trellises. The tasting room staff is generous with wine information and genuinely wants to understand your palate and desires. The wines are all very good and their case specials are not to be missed.

The customer service was amazing!!! She asked which wines we liked and offered us some off menu tastes. The pours were very generous and the property is beautiful! We loved the patio area and ended up buying a case! We will definitely be back!

This winery was recommended to us by Trentadue and the recommendation was spot on. Sally took us off menu for an incredible wine tasting experience. I'm a fan of rock pile soil and the wineries rock pile cab was exactly what I wanted. We will definitely enjoy this bottle with so e grilled meat.

What a hidden gem of a winery, extremely picturesque. I have driven by so many times, but never stopped in. They have tasty bold reds with great deals by the case. Not a pretentious winery, these folks know hospitality! The ladies are so nice and sweet, they will also recommend the best restaurants in town to pair their wines with. Thanks to friends who are members of the Wilson Winery package, we get to enjoy the perks. Ms. Shayla should be the Duchess of Yelp here, perhaps she already is! I have yet to participate in the chili cook-off, maybe next year. I can't wait to come back, it feels like home; they treat you like family. Dog-friendly winery btw. 'Til we meet again ~ cheers & see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

Tasted a few weeks ago once patio seating opened back up. We made a reservation in advance and enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the patio under the umbrellas to beat some of the heat. Staff was friendly, wore a mask and didn't hover which was nice to allow us opportunity to relax and not feel pressured on time to sip and go. We tried the tasting flight available as well as the rosè which was new and I had just seen it talked about on their Instagram account. Everything we tried was delicious, we each went home with some wine to enjoy and it was nice to feel some sense of normal for at least a few hours. Of course no inside tasting is available right now but like most restaurants or other establishments you can wear a mask to go inside and use the facilities. This is a crazy time but we are all working through it together.

I'm a member of the Wilson family wineries so I naturally had to make my way to this one. It's really scenic and peaceful and I love making this my first stop of a winery trip to really set the tone of a great day in wine country. Great primativos and great conversation too!

An Alexander Valley beauty! Tucked away in the small town of Geyserville sits the stunning estate of DeLormier Winery. This charming winery is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and the most scenic views of Alexander Valley. We came here during the 2019 Wine and Chili Taste-off and had an absolute blast! We started our tasting in their adorable barrel room. The barrel room is cozy and decorated with the cutest Christmas style string lights. They had an oversized wine bottle filled with corks and a contest to win wine if we were able to guess how many corks were inside of the wine glass. Very fun, and I hope that I win (wink wink)! They were pouring their 2017 Estate Sauvignon Blanc and 2016 Primitivo in the barrel room, both of which were pretty tasty. I was surprised that I actually enjoyed their Sauv Blanc because it's my least favorite kind of white wine. However, this one was light, refreshing, and had minimal oak influence. Next, we made our way into the Club room where David poured us their 2016 Estate Primitivo and their 2016 Reserve Zinfandel. And OMG... that PRIMITIVO! It was sooo delicious!!! My favorite of all the wines that we tried here! It was just scrumptious! A little sweet but really smooth and fruity. I enjoyed it 100%! David was so much fun and we enjoyed learning about the wines from him. We moved on to the tasting bar which was in the main tasting room. Their tasting room is very lively and interactive. It was bustling during the event and we really felt at home there. Hunter was our host at the tasting bar and he was such a hoot! We had so much fun tasting with him! So much personality, and he kept us entertained the entire time that we were there. We tasted their 2015 Artisan Meritage, 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, and their 2015 Reserve Cab Sauv. The 2015 Cabernet was paired with Donna's ribeye and black bean chili. HOLY MOLYYYY! That chili was DAYUM good! It was the BEST of all that we tried that day! I sure hope that they wine the pairing contest because their wine and Chili pairing was perfect! I loved both Cabernets as they were both pretty smooth which is what I prefer compared to extremely bold and tannic. All in all, we had an excellent experience here! Our group ended up purchasing some bottles of wine to take home. I still can't get over how yummy their Primitivo is! I'm a Wilson Artisan Wines member, so I get benefits at DeLormier! I'm so excited to come back again in the future to taste more of their delicious wines.

Always a fantastic time here even if it's just for a short trip like mine today. Got the Rockpile Syrah, absolutely fabulous. If you join this wine club you really join 6(ish?) and you won't regret it especially if you love reds like I do. They also have breadsticks and water at the table to help cleanse your palette. An extra nice touch in addition to the beautiful surroundings of course.

Beautiful lodging in a beautiful setting. Delicious wine at the DeLorimier winery is a bonus! We have been here three times (during the Winter, Spring and Summer). We never get tired of visiting. Whether it's the new buds of the spring, the lush vines of the summer or the nakedness of winter the vineyards have a special magic and beauty. Likewise the skies of Sonoma County are incredible all year round as well. The night skies are filled with stars. We have stayed in the Mosaic Suite all three times. The room has a extremely comfortable bed. Privacy window shades and gorgeous vineyard views on two sides. The kitchen is sufficient to bring your own breakfast and lunches. Local indoor and patio dining at Diavola Pizzeria is very good. Customer service is top notch. We plan to visit for many years to come.

I don't think we have never not stopped here when we come up for barrel tasting. It's a really great winery, great tasting room and has delicious wines. Part of the Wilson wineries which are outstanding, this is definitely a place to stop, taste their wines and maybe bring some home. Everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

When I tell you that my friend and I were hooked from beginning to end during our tasting, I am not kidding you. Reece was absolutely phenomenal and so was our entire tasting experience at Zialena. After passing by Zialena several times on my trips to DeLorimier, my friend and I finally decided to check them out for a tasting. You know I have to start off with their estate and grounds. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I will always be a fan of classic winery setups, BUT... I LOVED the modernized look of Zialena! The exterior of their building alone is so eye catching and unique. And then you walk inside and think, damn this place is so chic and hip! I love the artwork, I love the stylish tables and chairs with the bright orange seat cushions, I love the youthful and fun atmosphere and vibe. It's just wonderful. Those views! I underestimated how great they'd be because you can't see much from the outside. But once you're sitting on their patio, the views seem to be endless. Countless views of the hills and their beautiful vineyards. It helped that it was a stunning day outside too. Reece set us up on their side patio which was glorious. Now about this wine; fan-freakin-tastic! I loved every single wine that I tried. All were scrumptious. I'll get more into the wines in a bit, but first I'm gonna tell you a little bit about what I learned from Reece. Although the actual tasting room is newish, the winery is a fourth generation run operation by the Mazzoni family. The family hails from Italy and they've been harvesting grapes and producing wine for years. The winery is actually named after their Great Aunt Lena (Zia Lena in Italian). Mark and Lisa (sister and brother) are the owners and they also run the winery. Zialena grows grapes for over 90 different varietals and all of them are estate grown! That's right; those vineyards that surround their property are actually their own. They use whole cluster fermentation to produce their wines which basically means that they ferment the grapes with the stems (the stems aren't removed). This allows for more of an elaborate flavor profile in their wines. They also ferment in concrete with the top open. Never really heard of open top fermentation prior to coming here, but it allows for more oxygen to come in contact which helps with faster yeast production amongst other things. Alright, let me take my geeky wine brain hat off for a second. Reece had us completely engaged during this tasting. I literally started taking notes because it was so much interesting information. But those wines, dear GEEZUS! So, so good. Their unique fermentation techniques really paid off because their wines are so rich and complex. We tasted one welcoming white wine (Sauvignon Blanc) and 4 reds which were all incredible. The Cappella Red Blend was to DIE for and undoubtedly my favorite wine of the bunch. The spices were so pronounced but yet the wine went down oh so smooth. Took a bottle of that and I don't think it even lasted a few days. Reece was so knowledgeable and confident. This man probably could have sold us the earth and we would have bought it. Seriously. So engaging and we loved it. But wow, I'm impressed. Zialena is a one of a kind.

I don't normally drink wine but came for the olive oil and the experience and it did not disappoint! I also eventually changed my mind that red wine can be good:) We were seated indoors and Edd gave us the rundown of what we'd be tasting for the afternoon complete with stories and lots of fun facts. (I now look at any bottles that say "cold pressed" with some light skepticism since it's clearly only written there for marketing purposes!) We ordered a selection of the panini sandwiches, the burrata and butternut squash salad, and the charcuterie board. The fire cheese was delicious and the spread was perfect. Throughout lunch, Edd brought us different wines to taste and by the end we were most definitely sold on the Stone Soup (the red version). The olive oil tasting was so much fun. First of all the bread was so delicious. And then we tasted about 15 (?) different olive oils or vinegars. The raspberry, lemon, and garlic ones were clear favorites. My personal favorites were the garlic and sage. Even though it was a bit of a rainy & cloudy day, the views from the patio were beautiful. We finished our wine out by the fire pit outside, and now I really need to come back during the summertime when the skies are more clear for the full experience. I left with lots of olive oil and great Christmas gifts for the family. The four piece olive oil sets are perfect for that and I brought one home for my family and we did our own inspired mini taste testing (I still miss Trattore's bread tho). 10/10 recommend and yes I definitely want to come back for the summer views and this pizza oven I keep reading in all the other reviews:))

We ended up here because we decided to pick a random vineyard to try while we were in Healdsburg. I signed up for a tasting and noted that it was my birthday that we were celebrating. When we arrived, they had a special treat for us, a glass of their sparkling Brut which was delicious! Because it was my birthday they set us up in the tasting room in the photo I have attached which is also a special treat! The view from this room was spectacular overlooking their expanse of vineyards and Mount Saint Helena!! Tonya was amazing! She guided us through all of our tastings, which actually was quite a few at this particular vineyard. And we even got super lucky that the founders son, who now runs, the vineyard was there he even stopped by to chat with us for a bit! Another thing that I really liked about this tasting as they give you snacks to pair with the wines throughout your tasting but you can also buy larger snacks if you wish. My husband and I agreed that the Cabernet Franc and the Primitivo were our favorites! Another fun thing about this vineyard is they make and sell their own olive oil. We, of course, joined the membership ordered a case of wine and took home some olive oil! It was a fantastic day!
