What an incredible experience... I came in with a bad cold and while I was there I felt more relaxed and in touch with myself than I have in a while. My husband and I did the salt cave and between the temperature, cleansed air, and soft trickling water, we were both mesmerized to sleep. Was planning a girls day out and my Godmother suggested we come here. She has been before. It's a really far drive for me, but I wanted to treat her. Admittedly, I've been to salt rooms before that were situated within the spas themselves, but I've never been to a wellness center whose main existence rests on salt therapy. Salt Oasis is located within a shopping center about a mile from the 15 fwy so their location (and parking) was very convenient. I spent about an hour in the spa. I wanted to fall asleep and was told that it was a natural reaction because our bodies naturally want to begin the process of healing and repairing when placed in the optimal environment. The manager explained to me that I'd be feeling the effects of the salt therapy for 2-3 days afterwards. I did feel refreshed and rejuvenated when I left and am looking forward to returning. read more

I just can't tell you in this limited space how relaxing this place is! The sessions are 55 minutes long, as you sit in lounge chairs, or actually lie down on the salt crystals and breathe deeply. Invariably you will fall asleep. So yay for adult naptime! But, the healthful benefits of being in the salt cave itself are too numerous to mention. We are born with bodies full of healthy minerals and over time, these are depleted. I began sleeping better after three sessions. Now, I've purchased a monthly membership which entitles me to unlimited visits. UNLIMITED is the way to go, people. It is SO good for you and quite economical when you add it up. Today was my first time at Salt Oasis. The owner, Bruno Bafia, actually took the time to sit down and answer questions about what sets his salt cave rooms apart from the common regional concept of relaxation. It was wonderful to go somewhere and be given an open invitation to relax...no instructions. Many of us feel lost or may feel insecure without suggestions. How about you? Bottom line, my experience won't be conceptualized in a few sentences. However, my sentiment is this: I left feeling relaxed and super glad this place exists. I had heard of Himalayan and Dead Sea salt, but never of Poland's salt caves. I highly recommend laying down on a blanket laid directly over the granulated salt. It took guts. But, it was among the suggestions. (quite honestly, no one should be there to people watch anyway...so go for it.) Your relaxed body and destressed mind will thank you. I've been a member since December 2018. I love coming here. the staff is so friendly, I now feel like they are my friends. I have sinus issues/allergies to weeds and mold. when I am stuffed up, it is especially good to go because within 15 minutes of the session start, I feel everything open up. This place offers a quality of serenity and just being intune with your body, mind, spirit. Bruno is one of the owners there and he is very knowledgable about the history of the Himalayas salt, health benefits, and has a passion for creating wellness for people in general. One of the staff members Elida, was over the top quality of information, and her generosity was geared towards everyone who entered. She knew the products and I actually ended up getting a small salt lamp, which has benefits of releasing positive minerals in the air for increased health benefits. The good stuff-love the cave because it's so dark, larger room but I just like the feel of it. Also has a waterfall that gives it a weird cave like vacation vibe. Serenity room-I enjoyed because the seats recline fully back, a bit quirky but I got fully relaxed and rejuvenated. I felt like I slept for 4 hours and it was 50 min. This place is absolutely incredible. I've never been to a salt cave/room before and I was just tagging along with the fam for a bday celebration. First off, Madison and Parker who work here are not only super super helpful, kind, and accommodating, but they are beyond knowledgeable. They taught me so mush about pink Himalayan salt, the benefits and healing properties. I was getting sick (on my way to getting worse) before coming here, and after our one hour session, my sinuses were clear, my energy became super high and my mood was insanely positive. Hard to explain but this is single handedly one of the most beneficial and positive things you can do for your body. I heard about Salt Oasis from a friend and was excited to visit. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but when we arrived (it's about a 45 minute drive without traffic) we felt a sense of calm. The interior was very nice, they have a great selection of salt lamps which you can purchase (we bought 2). But besides the salt experience that we came for your staff was amazing! Caroline and Parker were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions very graciously. We did the sound healing with Nico and Nata. We really enjoyed it! We will definitely be back! This is three reviews in one: The Salt Cave, the salt cave YOGA, and the salt cave SOUND THERAPY. The whole place as a salt cave gets a FIVE STAR review. This place is gorgeous, serene, quiet, and healing. If you have respiratory issues it works wonders! I always get a good nights sleep afterward as well. The salt cave yoga was okay and that gets FOUR STARS. The guy teaching was really nice and the place provides mats. The only issue is that they squeeze three too many people in there. i think they allow for 15 people but it would be more relaxing with 12 or less... ******************************************************************************************************************** The salt cave SOUND HEALING gets TWO STARS. I was disappointed. It was a husband and wife team with all sorts of sound things: drums, tuning forks, two quartz bowls, singing bowls, even a childs thunder toy. I found most of the tools to sound cheap and off pitch. The drum was nice, the singing bowls were nice, and the quartz bowls are my fav. But the tuning fork and little hand chimes... NO. When you hear them during the meditation it's like nails on a chalk board. I wish they'd stick with the quality sounds only. The biggest disappointment was the guy that was running it. And I mean no offense, they were both really nice and really in to their craft but... The guy just talked forever before and after the session and bounced around topics and started talking about conspiracy theories and weird stuff. And that's fine if you're into it but not before a meditation session! Come in, explain what you'll be doing and get to it. If you want to talk about that stuff or answer people's questions, do it after the session and make it clear that the session is over and you'll take Qs at the front or something so we're not all sitting there wanting to leave while you talk about aliens for another 20 minutes but not wanting to seem rude by leaving because you didn't dismiss us. The guy also walked around with a few items and played them near each person. Kinda cool, very thoughtful, but a little distracting because you could hear the salt crackling under each step. The regular salt cave music was still on and that was super distracting - wish the establishment would have turned it off. As well, the establishment crammed about 15 people in there and it would have been more comfortable with a few less. So, my advice to the sound healers, to make the experience super awesome would be to talk less before the session, use only high quality sound equipment, and gently release the session afterward - taking questions and conversations after dismissal. read more

I have been going to the Salt Oasis for about 6 weeks. I find it very relaxing. The staff is very knowledgeable and more than happy to explain salt therapy. They also offer massages , yoga classes and meditation classes. When I first started I had a persistent cough from mild asthma and bronchitis. I no longer have that. There's a few more issues I have healthwise that I'm working on and after I visit my doctor in January I'll check to see if the salt therapy has been beneficial for them. I'll keep you informed. In the meantime I suggest you try it. What have you got to lose? But please be reasonable whatever health issue you have, you did not acquire overnight. Even if you don't have health issues this is an excellent place to go just for stress alone. read more

My bestie and I have been stressed and anxious beyond reason due to our jobs and current life changes, so after reading about Salt Oasis on Groupon, we decided to have a go. I was greeted immediately after I walked in the door and the way the lobby and waiting area is set up puts you instantly in a serene mindset. They offered water infused with lemons and coconut water, it was refreshing. Everything about the place just made me feel relaxed before going into the salt room. They give you a locker for your items and give you a tour as well. My friend was late, so we got the tour afterwards. In the salt room, it was literally that... The walls were made with salt, the floor was covered with like 3 inches of salt, the lamps were salt, and the water flowing from the waterfalls were salt water as well. I felt tingly at first and then I think I fell asleep for a little bit out of nowhere. I was that relaxed. The 50 minutes flew by and I felt wonderful. All the anxiety and stress that had built up over the week had dissapated. It was lovely. I will definitely be coming back some time soon with my boyfriend. read more

They answered all my questions and were very informative. I hate to leave this review because I want to keep this place to myself... but I would be doing everyone a HUGE disservice if I did. Salt caves/rooms are PHENOMENAL!!! If you've never been to one, this place is where you should go. It was so relaxing and comfortable. One is the rooms is even wheel chair accessible... they've thought of everything for everyone. They gave me a courtesy call the day before my appointment as a reminder and one afterwards to follow up. They welcome you with a smile and provide you with a tour if the facility. Trust me.. Absolutely love Salt Oasis. I come with my mom and sister frequently and always feel so well rested after a session. My stress melts away. I feel more energized. I would definitely recommend a package. Doing just one or two Groupon sessions is great, but you'll really feel the difference after multiple sessions. It is pricey, but keep your eyes peeled for deals throughout the year. Currently enjoying the Mother's Day special ($89 for unlimited salt therapy for a month) which is less than half the cost of a typical unlimited month (not on a 12 month contract).
