We have enjoyed the salt therapy cave in the past and felt improvements in our inflammation, pain and breathing. As in the past, this is a relaxing , tranquil experience. This time we added massage & breathing chair. The chair is guided breathing with a slight rocking motion and oxygen blowing 2 inches from your nose. It was relaxing, time will tell whether it proves to have therapeutic value. The massage however was the best massage I've had yet. The masseuse was very knowledgeable and worked on all the right areas. They allow you to remain in the room an additional 30 after the masseuse was finished. This place is great for sinus congestion. I had a horrible cold & couldn't breathe through my nose at all. I was desperate for a massage & came across this place. I tried their salt cave room, very relaxing & ahhhmazing! I was able to take a nap & breathe for the first time in days. The staff was very knowledgeable on the therapy & knew just what I needed. They advised me to drink plenty of water the next few days, maybe if I listened I would have got better sooner but it's hard enough to drink water when I'm not sick. Definitely a cute place to say you've been there, but other than that I don't see any reason to go other than feeling like you have a special club to go to and relax. I was surprised the staff didn't talk about the salt at all, didn't mention anything about the place or what the chairs were for, I ended up reading online that the chairs were for better breathing. I must say this is a very unique, well thought out service. Himalayan salt mines right here in the I.E.! Exposure to these salt mines is supposed to have a great many health benefits. I first heard about this place through my sister who took my niece when she was having some struggles with her asthma. It worked wonders for her. So when I was having trouble getting over a lingering cold last December, I thought I would give this place a shot. They have a variety of payment plans, including memberships. At the time I came in, it was the beginning of December, and they generously offered to extend their Black Friday special to me which was unlimited use for one month for $100. Given the price of one regular session, that was a steal so I took it. There are several private salt rooms and one large community salt cave. The first time I dropped in without pre booking an appointment, it was not on the hour, and they let me start in a private room until the cave opened up at the next hour. The salt walls in these rooms are beautiful, the lights are dim, and they have these chaise lounge style chairs that you can sit or lie back on. It was very relaxing. And the cave is even better! You walk into sand, like the beach, feels really nice on your feet (yes, you have to remove your shoes). And it looks just like a cave but with no bats. Very serene. I did not have my phone to take pics, but others have posted some. Once everyone is in the cave, they lock the door, turn off the lights, and zombies come out to eat you! Women and children first. It's the ultimate escape room! Just kidding---no zombies. The idea is to relax, shut off the outside world and/or inside world if you have voices talking to you, and breathe in deeply all the benefits of the Himalayn salt. Come on you can do it! They literally moved mountains and transported these salts across the world for you. I had no problem whatsoever falling asleep in the cave which is weird because I am in there with strangers, but it was that relaxing. After the session is over, they open the door, turn on the lights, and pass out margarita glasses and limes so you can scrape them against the walls and make your drink. Ok, ok, that last part isn't true, but I think it would be a really cool way to end. Overall, I enjoyed my sessions here. However, December was a busy month and the location is a little out of my neighborhood so I was not able to do the sessions very often. Therefore, I did not sign up for a month to month membership. I would like to return occasionally when I need to relax and shut off the voices or to try one of their breathing or stretching classes in the cave. My cousin, my niece and I agreed that we would come back due to the health effects that we know come from the salt room treatments, but we were not entirely satisfied with our first experience... The ONLY reason why I am not giving 5 stars for Salt Oasis is ERICA, the receptionist who was there to greet us. We had a reservation for 4pm and we arrived on time and she offered to give up water and a 'quick' tour of the facilities. We went along with her tour not knowing this time is being taken away from our session!! At the end we were told to leave along with all of the people who have been there for the full length of the session. My cousin looked at me in confusion like are we suppose to leave too?? Her tour was so unnecessary while there was actually real helpful first timer information she SHOULD have told us cause during our session she came in and interrupted everyone in the room asking for my cousin to come outside. Moments later my cousin comes back in to take my niece's cellphone to the front. I did not know until the end of our session that phones were not allowed inside... cause there were lockers in front where we would have been more than happy to lock up our stuff. So I feel like she failed to communicate important information and wasted our time on the tour that we said we could have done after. If it is your first time, I recommend dressing comfortably in some shorts and a tanktop. The more salt that makes contact to your skin, the better the health effects. Inside of the salt cave they have reclining chairs and blankets available since they recommend that you take a nap to get the full effect of the healing process. They actually recommend that you lay on the ground and really just let that salt do its' magic so that's exactly what I did. I camped out by their soothing waterfall and rolled up into that salt. Fair warning -- there will be other people in this room and they may cough, snore or somehow disrupt your zen. The people who were in the room with us were snoring up a symphony. I love the concept of this place and I came with every intention of loving it! In the future my cousin, my niece and I think we would prefer the smaller room that also has the salt floor so there are less stranger distractions. We will also know to dress more comfortably and lock up our things in the lockers prior. And don't wear black or your cloths might get salt powder residue all over it. I left this place with super ashy looking legs and salt power stains all over my shorts. Good thing my tanktop was grey! Oh one more thing!! I purchased a year membership last October. I asked if I could cancel and they assured me I could cancel at anytime. I became homeless the next month, in November. This was vey unexpected. When I asked if I could cancel I was told it would cost $600. I didn't have this so they continued to take $99 a month even though I was homeless and finally found a place over 30 miles away. They still wouldn't let me out of contract saying I needed to be 55 miles away. So disappointing that they are running business like this. With gas prices as they are I still was not let out. What a great experience! First time there. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. When we entered, we were greeted and asked to fill out a waiver. As we filled it out in the sitting area, we were offered water infused with lemon and cucumbers. In the sitting area, they provide lockers, with keys, to store your stuff. We rented out the salt cave for an hour. We had the room to ourselves, preferred no chairs so we could be immersed in the salt. The ambiance was very serene, even though we don't know how to be a quiet bunch. There were two waterfalls, calming music in the background, lighting was dimmed once we were all there, and the salt was warm, so those in tanks and shorts were not cold. They provided towels if needed. Some of us used them as pillows, some just to sit on. Afterward, we were given a tour of the place. I will definitely be back. read more

I had an amazing experience at the Salt Oasis today. I wish it hadn't taken my so long to try this place out, but after my visit today I'll definitely be back again soon. I had a one hour deep tissue massage with Kim and she was wonderful. I honestly thought my massage went on for longer than an hour because she did such a great job paying attention to each part of my body. She started with a scalp massage that was amazing. At the end of my massage I got a 30 minute private salt room session which I loved because I hate when you are relaxed from a massage and you feel like you have to jump up and quickly get dressed. This was so relaxing and I didn't feel rushed at all. I am really excited to come back and use of of the salt rooms and I'll definitely come back for another massage soon. I've been to many soundbaths and sit in many medicine circles and I truly enjoyed how Nico Facilitated the sound bath-he tailored the session to our group really well as you got a sense there were a lot of newbies in the room. I could sense that Nico had a wealth of knowledge and wisdom but he kept it very simple and concise, as again, the room was filled with a lot of newbies. And for some who are more tenured like myself, I was very engaged, very responsive to the sounds and able to get into that meditative space rather quickly. I loved the traditional aspects as these types of modalities are ancient so the recognition of the ancestors and traditional ways of implementing the healing was appreciated. This is my second visit here. I currently have bronchitis and it's said the salt caves are therapeutic. I'm not sure how well the caves work with respect to healing, but I can say with great certainty they are relaxing. My throat does feel better but I will see in the long run. I was lucky enough to experience the salt cave with just my boyfriend and I. We had a relaxing 50 min sesh and also got to experience a traditional shamanic soundbath with a group of about 15 others. It was magical and the entire cave was filled with sounds of the ancestors. I got an 8 session shared membership and even tho I don't live super close (I live in Anaheim) I'm gonna make the trek back 3 more times in 2 months. It's worth it! My daughter and I had a wonderful experience today at Salt Oasis. I knew it would be a long shot to get a same day appointment on a Sunday, but my daughter's allergies were really acting up, and I had been fighting a cough for weeks. A woman called me to let me know that although they were booked up, she would try her best to get us in. When we arrived, Parker went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He has a passion for wellness and really knows about Salt Therapy. This quality is a rarity these days. I can't tell you how many times I go into a store and I ask the employee a basic question, and they tell me to "Google it" . In addition, he is so lovely to deal with. He gave us a tour of the facility and different rooms since we were a little early. Once it was time for our appointment, he took us to the salt cave. The colors, ambiance, sounds and most importantly Himalayan salt immediately started to make us feel relaxed. Over the duration of 50 minutes (seemed a little longer ), my daughter and I talked and relaxed. I took a little nap while she played with the salt. We both came out feeling much better then when we went in. I ended up purchasing a total of 5 visits for now. If I see it truly helps my daughter with her allergies, I will purchase the monthly membership. Great job Salt Oasis! I am so happy you are going strong in Rancho Cucamonga after 6 years!!
