The Louisiana catfish was so good

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly... definitely will return when I visit Louisiana again

I took my two foreign exchange students to lunch on Monday. The food and service were good - no complaints there. This morning I received an email from my bank asking me if I tipped $26.41 on a $53.59 ticket. Not sure how my $12.00 tip was more than doubled, but that's definitely not acceptable.

Great oysters ... a little on the small size, perfectly cooked and not overly battered! we will be back to try other menu items.

I tried this place last night. I was meeting a friend for dinner and got there early. I had time for a drink or two at the bar. The bartender was sweet & attentive. All the staff had great attitudes. I had the Lychee Lagoon and it was great. Closer to the time my friend was arriving, I went and got a table. Again, the waiter was attentive & friendly. I ordered the crab dip as an appetizer and it was to die for. For my main course, I ordered the fried oysters. They were pretty great. Also, the oysters come from Cameron so I was supporting local. I will be back.

Salt Revival Oyster Co. 3420 Ryan St Lake Charles I visited this restaurant on the 2nd night of opening, and it was packed. I was lucky to get a seat at the large double-sided bar on the side where they shuck the oysters in front of you. There are paper menus, or you can scan the menu bar code for the digital menu. The restaurant was very clean with a lot of employees to ensure your dining experience was great. Every employee who I interacted with was very friendly, polite, and helpful. The menu is not huge with only a few options in the following categories: cold appetizers, hot appetizers, entrees, sandwiches, fried, and salads, but I'm sure there's something for everyone. I have never eaten oysters, they are just not my thing, so I ordered the Fried Shrimps for $13.00. I wanted to try the Hot Crab Dip as an appetizer, but it was sold out. While waiting for my food order, I order and consumed a couple of 12oz bottled of Bud Light Beers. The beer was cool, but not as cold as a bottle of beer should be. They offer a selection of draft and beer flights if you desire those options. The Fired Shrimp came with 12 medium size tail on shrimp deep fried shrimp, served with a 1oz portion cup of Cole slaw, fresh hand cut fries, tater sauce, and cocktail sauce. The shrimps were perfectly cooked and tasted great. The Cole slaw was fresh, tasted good, but the portion size could have been larger. The hand cut fries were hot, perfectly cut, fried, and very good. This restaurant is beautiful, new to the area and there are a few hiccups to work through, but overall, they are doing exceptionally well in the areas of customer service and product quality. Maybe next time, I'll try baked oysters, fried oyster, or chargrilled oysters to introduce my palate to the taste of oysters.

My bf and I arrived around 9pm, ordered ourselves a burger each because we were STARVING!! We are pretty patient people, so we waited and waited. 30mins go by and still nothing, the guy that ordered after us got his food. We asked and she said she'll check on it. A moment later, maybe 9:40pm or 9:50pm ish, the same girl that took our order said they were short staffed and it will take a bit longer and apologized. It's about 10pm ish now and the manager comes and apologize and explained the situation. The girl that took our order forgot to send the dam ticket to the kitchen this whole time... apparently she's in "training". Manager was very apologetic and told us our options for a refund or a reimbursement through drinks... Ma'am I'm trying to chow down a hefty burger not liquor. Shoutout to Bisou Lounge/Lux Plates & Pours for having their kitchen open late. My bf and I are just nice people and it sucks because we could've crashed out and caused a scene. I think that would be a normal reaction though because you got customers waiting a mf hour just to say y'all can't make the food anymore because the kitchen is closed and now you gotta give them their money back. If I was the cashier, I would've just went back there and whipped up a burger because it was my fault. Other than that, place seems like a cool chill bar, and they have nice staff:)

While looking for a backup, I came across this place. I was surprised to find that they provided a variation of counter service instead of table service. We ordered at the counter, received a number and the staff later brought the food to us. However, with the beer, we ordered at a different counter and brought it back to the table ourselves. This was a while back, so I'm not sure if things have changed since then. Seating was available indoors (2 levels) and outdoors, complete with live music. We ordered the eagle wings & fries, margherita pizza and pretzels & beer cheese. The chicken wings were dry and the pizza crust was less than desirable. The pretzels were salty, but better once the salt was dusted off. The beer cheese was interesting but not my favorite. Overall, I didn't care for the food. The atmosphere was lively, but I wouldn't return just for that. There's 26 photos that should post with this review.

Everything was so flavorful and worth every penny. The kitchen staff knows what they're doing, and they are killing the game. We started off with the pork belly bites and the shrimp toast for appetizers. That spicy aioli mixed with the chili glaze on the pork belly was top tier! The shrimp toast was perfectly crispy and delicious. The entrees were just as much of a slam dunk as the appetizers. I had the beer braised beef short rib with the mashed potatoes. Talk about melt in your mouth. The short rib was so tender that I was able to pull every single bite off the bone with my fork using very little effort. It was MELT IN YOUR MOUTH TENDER! My husband had the Tasso brined double cut pork chop with collard greens. The Demi-glace was absolutely delicious and the greens were well seasoned. My father-in-law had the wedge salad that he asked to spruce up with a few extra dressings, and they had no qualms meeting his requests. We were too stuffed to try dessert, but we will absolutely be back to try it another time. The pricing was very fair for the quality of food and atmosphere. All of the staff were super kind. You can definitely tell they enjoy their job and take pride in what they do. We can't recommend the lakefront location enough. I ordered the Fit Dilla with Shrimp, a Chipotle Tortilla and Homemade Ranch sauce and a side of Mashed Sweet Potatoes. The Sweet Potatoes seemed dry and rubbery and honestly, the texture was off so much for me, it didn't seem like it was actually made from real sweet potatoes. I took a couple of bites and gave the rest to my daughter who said it was okay and ate most of it. My Dilla was a little strange too. The shrimp were tasty and fresh, but the Dillas were in the shape of triangles, and not in the traditional sense, and the tortilla seemed a bit on the dry side. I could've lived with that, but the addition of raw spinach leaves wasn't pleasant. I had erroneously assumed they would cook the spinach before adding it which I think would've been a better choice. My daughter ordered the Jalapeño Chicken Popper Wrap and let me have a taste.
