I never caught the cashier's name, but she was a shorter, dark haired lady and was so so nice! She talked to me about my wine option and reassured my choice was a good one! I appreciate having an occasional glass of wine, and expect that it's difficult to find a quality wine selection in a small town that probably depends very heavily upon the tourist trade. Frankly, most towns known for heavy tourist traffic usually don't do well when it comes to what they stock in wines -- they usually aren't that impressive. It wasn't very chocolately, or like it tasted like fake chocolate, which was disappointing. He got me a mango matcha lemonade (special) and it was really good but didn't taste like matcha at all (it was super green though). The highlight of our experience has to be the little chocolate treats. He got a variety, salted caramel, dark chocolate peanut butter cup and a few white chocolate treats which were beautiful and delicious. Service was just ok but we stopped in right before closing on a busy Sunday afternoon. A great time! The market takes up most of the midtown parking lot on Gower St and only runs from June through September. I grabbed a small carton of Oregon cherries and they were so fresh and flavorful. I also grabbed some lunch at the Roast Town BBQ tent and they had the BEST crab cakes I've ever had! I also had a shrimp roll which was delicious. Live music was being performed by the Bar K Buckeroos and really set a fun, western-swing type vibe - they drew quite a crowd as well. Overall the market was jovial and everyone was friendly and having a great time. Some vendors take credit card, some cash only so plan ahead. Parking in Cannon Beach is limited as it is, and since this market is in one of the main public lots the parking situation is even more challenging - but the town is very walkable with several other public lots within walking distance. They have a wide selection of men's and women's clothing, hats and some children's goods as well as mugs and magnets and such. Super friendly staff and fair prices.
