My husband called them talked to the manager on duty 1/28/2026 and asked if he could make sure we get our dressing for salad, and bread and butter. Guess what no dressing, no chicken in our 20$ salad and no bread and butter. Never have I ever been to a well known chain restaurant and have been treated so badly. I could understand if they were busy but this was not the case. After being seated we waited 20 minutes before even asked if we have been waited on. Mind you that 3 other parties around us we seated brought bread and drinks. When a food runner finally acknowledged us we asked to speak with the manager that never came out so we walked out. Upon leaving, we stopped at the hostess desk to ask for the managers name, and she did not know. Way over priced! Food was old and way over salted ! Steaks cooked wrong temp and wasn't able to enjoy my dinner as everyone else was done by the time I got my plate! First experience here and 300 for 4 people that has no alcoholic beverages just food should be worth the money! The food is good but the service is lacking. Our waiter, Jason, made the special sound really good, but our mistake was not asking the price. He made it sound like the mushroom topping and salad were included, but when we finally received the bill they were all add on and the bill was pretty high. He left us sitting so we finally asked another watress to bring our bill. Then no one would come and give us change, so we left a good tip when we really did not want to, but we did not have change. Saltgrass Steakhouse was a great experience overall. The food was really good, everything came out fresh and cooked right, and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The customer service was just as good, if not better. Our server, Bailee, was amazing from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without us having to ask. She kept our drinks full, checked in at the right times, and had a great attitude the whole time. You can tell she actually cares about doing a good job. Definitely recommend asking for Bailee if you go. read more

Best Steak House in Texas! My husband and I had dinner tonight. It's just what we needed after a long journey. We had the Porter House Steak. I asked our beautiful waitress "Victory" if the chef could throw it on the grill just another minute... no problem! It came back perfect!! Waited over an hour for three burgers. They were very slow tonight. Friendly but got no drink refills. Seemed over zealous on selling a Landry membership. The manager took care of us, but we found a charred burger for my son and this gross pieced together burger in my to go order. I think they gave me what was left on other plates. Our visit to Amarillo's Saltgrass Steak House was excellent. One of us ordered a Pat's Ribeye, which was mouth watering, and highly recommend. I had the Maudeens center cut-filet, and it was perfect!
