The store has made a pandemic-inspired switch from monochromatic going out and professional clothes to a more varied gifts, wearables, and home goods boutique! I absolutely adored Salty 1.0 and am even more in love with Salty 2.0. I stopped in over the weekend and grabbed two adorable dresses, a makeup case with butts all over it, and a nice "at-home and chillin" sweater. The price point for many items has come down, and I am confident you will continue to find literally anything you're looking for here. The cute shoes and jewelry wall are still here, and there's now space for local maker popups and more! Quirky candles, fun and upscale gifts, pillows, glassware, all take up the park ave-facing side of the store. Same staff still crazy helpful and there to help make the experience fun. Not size inclusive. I loved a lot of the clothes as they were cute and reasonably priced but they don't carry any XS sizes (asked the worker too). Many places claim "size inclusive" but will only be inclusive for L/XL not us small women who can't help that this is the body we got! read more

The space is beautiful, crisp and clean - the perfect backdrop to the curated clothing options on display. Lots of great neutrals, simple geometric jewelry, and shoes. I would expect nothing less than spectacular from Tanvi (who also owns sister store, Peppermint, at the Culver Rd Armory). I found a few party options, plus cozy sweaters. Everything is reasonably priced and features a great array of brands that fit trendy wear with professional and includes cocktail attire. I finally walked in to this new boutique that's owned by Tanvi Asher of Peppermint fame. (That place is over at the Culver Armory) The gist of this space is the color scheme is all black, white and neutral colors. They have some really lovely pieces and like Peppermint the jewelry game is strong at this spot too. They have a lot of great separates, great party dresses, pants, sweaters and shoes.. yes shoes and handbags. I need to go back and pick up this sweater I really wanted but I was in a rush to meet a friend near by and thought I had more time to look around. My only issue is sizing.. I'm tall and not a size 2,4,6,8... they have a few "one size" options and "Large" but to be frank you might want to try some things on to see what fits. Usually her large works for me. If you are looking for a lovely party dress for a wedding, party or what not they have some lovely pieces and the prices are not exorbitant. Staff is friendly and the store is modern and hip. It's on Park Avenue and parking is basically street or if you can find a space in the back go for it. Give them a shot, I'll be back.. I want that sweater! Go read more

I found the store associates rude and inappropriate. The owner responded surprisingly unprofessional. The clothing was not made well and boring. A waste of time to shop at Salty and Peppermint. You would be better off shopping at other local retailers instead. read more

Accidentally wandered into this new boutique and pleasantly surprised. Range of casual to professional fun attire for women ages 16 to 90. Outfits could be easily matched with sweaters, coats, shoes or other. Clothing was not just for the super skinnygirl and styles not just juniors. Extremely accommodating sales clerks who appear to know styles. The clerks were friendly, helpful, open and even interested in your well being. Highly recommend stopping by. This is owned by the same person as Peppermint. She has great style with Salty specializing in slightly more upscale (price and style-wise) looks in mostly black, white and other neutral tones. The store has parking, which is always a plus on Park Ave. I'm happy to see another great option for clothes shopping here in Rochester! read more

On a recent visit to Rochester, I decided I wanted to shop some of the local boutiques. Out of all the places I went, Salty was my favorite. I loved the clothes here! Everything had a little twist to it and I love everything I purchased. The girls working there were probably the two sweetest people I've interacted with in a store in a long time - they were both super helpful! I have enjoyed shopping Salty since it opened. Its such a cute shop. However the last time I went into the shop, (which was empty except the clerk who was standing 30 feet from me) I was told I had to wear a mask. Why? No one was in there except me and the clerk. I'm tired of arbitrary mask rules so I left. Later I reflected on the absurdity of the incident. The store was empty, a customer finally walked in and the store barred the customer from shopping there. I would not call this a good business plan, to say the very least. I went to Salty Boutique yesterday for the first time after recently discovering it on Instagram and FELL IN LOVE. This place is a chic little hidden gem on Park Ave (prime location by the way) and I love this space. It has a minimalistic chic vibe and I am all about it. The selection was adorable. Each display is separated by color and so on trend. I was pleasantly surprised by their pricing as well. A few larger items (coats/jumpsuits, etc) were around $100 and everything was very reasonably priced. The girl working there was adorable and super attentive but also relatable and not pushy or invasive. I can't wait to go back. I'm only sad I didn't purchase more. XOXO read more

I absolutely adore salty! My whole wardrobe is pretty much black with a little white so its such a delight being able to walk into a store and have a ton of options instead of just a couple.
