Breakfast sandwich on homemade jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Delicious!

Great little market in Truro. Breakfast sandwiches are the best! Lunches and takeout dinners are also excellent. Staff are very friendly. Nice picnic tables to eat outside and some indoor seating as well. New espresso bar with very good coffee for summer 2025.

The best BLT and breakfast sandwiches. Hands down.

A bright pit stop that we were lucky enough to be staying only 5 minutes away from. The Salty Market serves breakfast items, sandwiches (hot & cold), soups, groceries, beer and wine. We absolutely loved their breakfast sandwiches: I got the bacon, egg, and cheese on the Iggy's 7 grain bread and my fiancé got the sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll. They were perfectly made and just the right amount of food to hold us over until lunch time. I myself love Rose wine, and I was wonderfully surprised that the Salty Market had 12 different ones to pick from! Definitely check this place out whether it's for your breakfast, lunch, or just to pick up some goodies from their store. NOTES/TIPS: ** If you don't want to wait a long time, put your order in online. Otherwise, you may be waiting up to 20 minutes if it's busy. **Deli hours: 8-11 am (Breakfast) and 11-2:30pm (lunch) **Market itself is open 7 days a week, 8am-7pm **They do have cute outdoor seating on the right side of the Market. **They sell the Truro wines and Chequessett chocolate here. **On the days that they're short staffed, they will only have cold sandwiches to go. I suggest calling in the morning or checking their Facebook page so you're not in for a disappointment.

Incredibly local purveyor of great food! Their prepared foods are spectacular. Recently had the falafel which was cloud upon cloud of flavor wrapped in its own pita cloud! Best I've ever had. This year they are making their own donuts and the Boston Cream sent me into the stratosphere. Seriously good and not to be missed.

We got breakfast sandwiches. I think the owners are new and are still learning the ropes. So even though they made us an extra sandwich, we weren't charged for it. The sandwiches were tasty. I love the other local grocery options inside available for purchase.

    Jalapeño cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich!

Such a special spot with absolutely amazing food - especially the jalapeño cheddar biscuits and chili crisp cream cheese - oh my!! Quality market with quality goods and quality food. It's a must-visit of you're ever in the area. Obsessed. That being said - my partner and I were there recently staying the long weekend in Truro. Stopped in to browse and buy a few necessities. Asked the clerk where the bottle watered was, and instead of just kindly letting us know that Ptown doesn't use single use plastic anymore, they belittled us for not knowing that (we're from New York...) and didn't help us at all. Ended up not getting any water because we thought there wasn't any, buying our other stuff and leaving - not letting it bother us too much because we were on vacation! The next day we went in for other amazingly fun stuff, and found an assortment of different options for packaged water. Paper, aluminum, etc. The person the day before never pointed the various options out to us, just made us feel dumb for even asking about bottled water. I feel pitiful writing this all out, but come on. Be NICE??? It's not that hard!?? Anyways still love this place and can't wait to go back. Didn't want to give them less stars just wanted to rant about our stupid elitist experience. Xoxox

Food was great. It was disappointing that they don't have public restrooms for paying customers. Staff were a bit rude.

The second I walked through the door, I knew we were in for something authentic. The air was filled with the unmistakable smell of fresh sauce, garlic, and quality ingredients. The vibe? Warm, casual, and confidently no-frills in the best way. When my boyfriend's mom asked for mayo and was kindly offered a side of house-made marinara instead, we knew we had struck Italian gold. I ordered the Caprese panini, and while I didn't love the bread at first glance, it surprised me--it was light enough to let the real stars shine: creamy, fresh mozzarella and that incredible homemade pesto. I actually finished the whole sandwich (a rare feat when most leave me full of nothing but bread). My boyfriend (and his parents) devoured their sandwiches without a word, leaving only a few crumbs and a slightly smug expression. We also split an arancini ball for just $5--and it was hefty. Flavorful and golden, though the cheese inside could've used a bit more melt inside. Still worth it, especially at that price. Cibo offers both made-to-order paninis and a full spread of pre-prepared Italian dishes that looked straight out of Nonna's kitchen. Think: lasagna, pastas, cold salads, and a take-and-bake section with house-made pasta and sauces. The gourmet coffee bar smelled like heaven and used fresh ingredients--no plastic creamer pods in sight. Even the dessert case looked like it had stories to tell. Aside from some Cape Cod chips and bottled Coke, everything here felt distinctly and proudly Italian. This is a spot that knows exactly what it is and does it well. 10/10 would detour for this place again.

Unfortunately I was quite disappointed when I went today for a panini to go. The paninis used to be amazing and a true treat. Today's Italian panini had exactly one thin slice of ham, one thin slice of salami and once thin slice of mortadella on it. For a $17 sandwich, I would have expected way more meat and the bread/meat made me barely taste any protein. Hopefully the new team can adjust and do better in the future.

They have a line for ordering and a line for paying. But they don't let you pay until your sandwich is done. So when it's busy what happens is your sandwich is done and then you have to get in a long line and wait when you could've been paid and out of there. Only way to counter this is to order online which you don't always think to do. Annoying problem that could easily be solved with common sense. There's also always like 15 people working and they still take a while to make your sandwich even if they're mildly busy.
