Excellent market with a very good selection of food, made for you and items you can take home to cook. Even vegan and vegetarians have good options, which isn't always the case. The display of items is very stylish and sustainable - such as all the fresh herbs in mason jars. I loved that where they could, there was no plastic. The breakfast sandwich was good, although they only had one type of bagel to choose (plain) on the day we were there. The biscuits looked so good as well as the grain bowls. A bright pit stop that we were lucky enough to be staying only 5 minutes away from. The Salty Market serves breakfast items, sandwiches (hot & cold), soups, groceries, beer and wine. We absolutely loved their breakfast sandwiches: I got the bacon, egg, and cheese on the Iggy's 7 grain bread and my fiancé got the sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll. They were perfectly made and just the right amount of food to hold us over until lunch time. I myself love Rose wine, and I was wonderfully surprised that the Salty Market had 12 different ones to pick from! Definitely check this place out whether it's for your breakfast, lunch, or just to pick up some goodies from their store. NOTES/TIPS: ** If you don't want to wait a long time, put your order in online. Craving some "healthy" food, and figured Salty's would have something that would appeal. Ordered the grain bowl with kale, which included kimchi and sesame dressing. Interesting combo, right? It gets better. Brought it home to find it had some mashed avocado and pico de gallo. Crazy delicious and perfect. Upon checking out was informed that you can ask for different add ons. Incredibly local purveyor of great food! Their prepared foods are spectacular. Recently had the falafel which was cloud upon cloud of flavor wrapped in its own pita cloud! Best I've ever had. Loved our visit to Salty Market on our recent visit to Truro! We wanted some healthy takeout food and were not disappointed in the bowl and the bagel with smoked salmon. Both were delicious. I also found some locally made magnesium sleep cream. The owner said I would not be disappointed and she was right. Absolutely love this joint! A fun corner store with a nice variety of fun and select items: cheeses, bevs, beers, wines, liquors, baked goods, and best of all-sandwiches. I had THE BEST breakfast sandwich as recommended by a fellow visitor. Their biscuit, egg & choice of meat breakfast sandwich was a delight to the senses: great textures, flavors and a nice saltiness. I don't usually like biscuits but this had some cheese and light jalapeño baked into it - it wasn't at all dry and flavorless like I usually find biscuits to be. We also tried the BLT on a sweet roll- so good I'm already thinking of my next order. I will def hit this spot up again on my way out of town. If you're staying in PTown worth the 10 min drive. If you're in Truro- better for you! This will now be added to my yearly repertoire of must visit food spots. In general, this was just a fun place with a cool vibe and even better food. Such a special spot with absolutely amazing food - especially the jalapeño cheddar biscuits and chili crisp cream cheese - oh my!! Quality market with quality goods and quality food. It's a must-visit of you're ever in the area. Obsessed. That being said - my partner and I were there recently staying the long weekend in Truro. Stopped in to browse and buy a few necessities. Asked the clerk where the bottle watered was, and instead of just kindly letting us know that Ptown doesn't use single use plastic anymore, they belittled us for not knowing that (we're from New York...) and didn't help us at all. Ended up not getting any water because we thought there wasn't any, buying our other stuff and leaving - not letting it bother us too much because we were on vacation! The next day we went in for other amazingly fun stuff, and found an assortment of different options for packaged water. Paper, aluminum, etc. The person the day before never pointed the various options out to us, just made us feel dumb for even asking about bottled water. I feel pitiful writing this all out, but come on. Be NICE??? It's not that hard!?? Anyways still love this place and can't wait to go back. This market has my favorite breakfast sandwich I have ever had in my life. The jalapeño cheddar biscuit with egg and cheese is amazing (feel free to add bacon or sausage if you are a meat eater). The breakfast sandwiches are made fresh and are delicious. They also have excellent lunch options for sandwiches. They have a nice selection of food items, beer, and wine as well in case you forgot something and do not want to have to head back to Provincetown to go to Stop and Shop for one or two items. They are a little pricey, but they do have a great selection. This is one of the best markets around! I cannot wait for my next trip to the Cape so I can get another breakfast sandwich! read more

There are not a lot of options for picking up groceries and food in the area. So this place is a life saver! Store has a great selection of wine and beer and all your liquor essentials. Also has basic food items such as milk, eggs, bread and some fruits and veggies. As a bonus has a small deli/bakery in the back that you can order sandwiches and other little goodies to go. If you can't wait to eat there are picnic tables outside. Prices are higher than the Stop and Shop.....but you pay for convenience. Food is all great quality and the staff is lovely. The breakfast sandwiches here blew my mind. The Senator is the best breakfast sandwich of my life. This place made me so happy and totally kicked off our vacation perfectly. The cold brew is delightful as well. Everyone here is so nice. One customer got annoyed about the wait and the owner was so sweet and literally ran to the back to grab her something out of the deli for her. I couldn't believe how nice everyone was who works here. Call in your order 30 minutes ahead of time on the phone - then driver over to pick it up. We were in Truro to celebrate a friend's birthday and Salty Market catered two of our meals. Not only were they delicious but Liam, the chef/owner was generous, kind, and helpful. Worried that our air bnb might not have bowls, Liam sent us with a stack for our Portuguese fish stew, just in case. The store is full of amazing food and wine and we found a tasty crement that was a perfect bubbly to celebrate our friend. The biscuit takes your standard egg, cheese, (added optional sausage) sandwich to a whole new level. It had just enough spice to add a little kick, without overwhelming the rest of the ingredients. Fantastic! At $6.00, the sandwich was very reasonably priced. The grocery items are more expensive than chain grocery stores, but you're paying tourist prices and for the convenience of not having to drive into Provincetown. They had a wine I buy at home and it was only a dollar more than what I pay, so I don't believe the prices are out of control. I will definitely be back! read more

Found this place on a random list of things to do while looking to do something on a rainy day. Boy did I find a diamond in the rough! Interesting g selections for food, snacks and drinks. I picked up some "crab chips" and went to the back of the store and found a small sandwich shop. I got the K-Bob. It was so good! The flat bread so soft and tasty. The combination of the hummus, coleslaw and hot sauce was just right. I haven't stopped thinking about it since. I think I gotta go back ..... they also have gluten free bread as an option, I didn't eat the gluten free bread but I did hear it was good. Just discovered this gem and we are steadily eating our way through every sandwich on the menu. The Turkey has avocado and a spicy mayo--delish. Best hot tuna melt around, and cold tuna is good too. The chicken salad is seasoned perfectly. They don't make sandwiches on Wednesday's, so I had their white pizza with mushrooms which was the equivalent of a gorgeous focaccia and only $5. Nice little market too with lots of selection for wine, beer, frozen Iggy's bread, and other staples. There is another sandwich and market closer to me, but this is always worth the drive. read more
