The good is the food. The good is the actual building. The bad is the dirty bathrooms. The service is a little bit slow, but it's a breakfast on Cape Cod. You don't need to be in a rush. I will go again for sure but I'd love to see it a little bit cleaner. read more

I'll start off by saying I've never been here for anything but breakfast. Their breakfast is fabulous though! They are located right next to their bakery, so they have some yummy treats like cinnamon roll French toast. All their breakfast items are good in my experience. This time I just wanted something simple so I got avocado toast. It actually turned out to be more than I bargained for because it was absolutely loaded with fresh avocado. A lot of places will be skimpy with it, but this was very generous and filling. The eggs were also perfectly cooked. My husband got eggs, toast, and home fries with corned beef hash. Again, the eggs were perfectly cooked. The hash was good and not too salty. Their home fries are banging so of course I stole some of them from his plate. They have quite a bit of seating, but they can be very busy at times and there will be a wait. I've never waited very long for my food though. Even if it not busy, we usually choose to sit in the bar. It's cozy and has a nice old school ambiance. As with most places on the Cape, they have bike parking outside, and it's pretty easy access from the CCRT so it's a nice spot to stop after or during your ride. read more

We were in Eastham the past few days and went to Fairway Wednesday morning for breakfast. Large building with plenty of parking and seating. It had a local comfortable feeling when you entered. We sat at a high top in the bar area and our server was Meghan. She was the sweetest and most pleasant server we've had in a while. She made everyone smile. The food was great too. We had the bacon lover's Benedict and a two by two plate with blueberry pancakes scrambled eggs and sausage. Both meals were delicious. I would highly recommend this place. read more

Avoid the place is you'd like a side of respect or hospitality with your order of below average breakfast slop. We were GIVEN the wrong order upon pick up after waiting over 30 minutes. And unfortunately in our rush to get back to the house we didn't check the order and didn't realize the mistake until the six hungry kids tore into the bags and started serving themselves. When we called back to explain the mishap we were hung up on. When we drove back to the establishment we were admonished for picking up the wrong order and not checking the name. Again. Mistakes on both sides. But the way management refused to give us the order way paid for and berated us for their mistaken, demanding we pay for both orders and return the food we picked up (to reserve?) was categorically unacceptable. I called in the order when I was close to arriving to our rental home in Eastham, I ordered a large pepperoni, a large hamburger peppers and onions, a small sausage and a caesar salad. I asked for a side of Italian dressing for the pizza. They put sausage on the pizza that I asked for hamburger and they didn't give me caesar dressing because I asked for a side of Italian- and they didn't even have Italian they had some form or oil and vinegar dressing. When I read the receipt as I stood there I told them that the pizza was wrong and they acted so relaxed as if I can stand there for a half hour while they fix it and the other pizzas get cold. i also asked where was the caesar dressing? I was speaking to someone who didn't have a pulse- terrible experience just a dud. I would never return. read more

Love Fairways breakfasts! In season we sit at the bar, but this visit we had a late breakfast in the dining room. I love the Nanny's Potato Pancakes. The pancakes are thick and crisp and soft in the center. Eggs over easy are always done as requested. Link sausage is the best. The fried fish is recommended. We've tried two other dishes over about 20 visits. One was inedible last year (scallops over risotto) , and the other in July was missing the fish (cioppino). I paid for both bad meals and asked for a manager callback two separate times. I received an inaudible callback on the second meal issue (I chose callbacks to address the food quality because it's a small bar space and I wanted to avoid patrons having a front row seat to my disappointed food comments). With no resolution I came in this week and while there asked the manager to take the price of my evening meal ($25) off the bill because of two other unacceptable and paid for previous meals ($73). I got condescending vibes and a non negotiable offer to take 10% off my fried fish ($2.50). There are meal choices in town and the Lower Cape that compete and exceed the Fairway on quality and affable customer relationships, at a comparable price point. read more

1/17/26: Ordered the meatloaf special; very tasty, served with fresh mashed and fresh steamed veggies. Meatloaf was a generous portion with a good brown gravy that included fresh mushrooms and pearl onions. Served piping hot. Our other dinner was shrimp scampi; served over linguini: 6 good size shrimp, pasta cooked perfectly, very tasty garlic sauce. Also piping hot. Could not finish - took about half of our dinners home, heated them up last night, still very good. Taj was our server: good, friendly service. Have eaten there many, many times, a cozy place. Every time I visit Cape Cod we go here for breakfast lunch and sometimes dinner. The food is always excellent. The staff is very great.

The food is delicious. You get plenty. The waitress was friendly. The place clean and comfortable. I got the 2eggs, scrambled eggs with 2 pancakes and bacon. Coffee. We come here every time we are on the Cape. It's a locals favorite spot. The restaurant is connected to their bakery with the best donuts anywhere. read more

Eastham location ~ We always sit at the bar. The bartenders (3) can second guess our order, and fill in when we forget something like condiment requests. The morning donuts are outstanding. We've taken them to go. The fried fish cannot be beat anywhere ~ hot, crusty, and not overcooked ($25ish). The fried calamari is worth ordering time and again ($15ish). Ask for the (free) bread. We share the clam chowder ($9ish); it's a win. We've tried other "Best of Cape Chowders " at competitors ~ they're not as good as the Hole in One Eastham. Seating is always available, air conditioning works fine, and food is delivered within minutes. If you're looking for an adult drink, the bar is in front of you and arrives quickly. I had one undesirable meal there, and chose not to comment until the bill arrived and was paid . They would have taken it off the tab (it was sea scallops risotto). I don't want you taking my bar seat, but ~ they deserve the credit. We're here April through November, weekly. it's our first dinner when arriving in town because a seat is available without wait, along with a friendly face. We don't do breakfast, but the parking lot is full every morning. The line for takeout pastries today was 12 deep outside by 930am. read more

The crab cake was homemade but smelled a might too fishy, The sautéed spinach was not cooked and the hollandaise sauce was lumpy. The eggs were poached perfectly. Normally I would give the Fairway 5 stars. I go back for the cod with lemon caper butter. The vegetables of zucchini and yellow squash are usually buttery and well seasoned. The cod is lemony with capers and plenty of sauce running into the moist rice. The last two visits were mediocre at best. Maybe because it's off season on the cape. Note I ask for my meal without the Pablo crumb topping. Tonight's meal was dry. The vegetables were simple steamed without flavoring. The cod was baked with no seasoning, including the lemon caper butter - which I love. The rice was dry. Last visit, despite asking for the cod to be gluten free it was covered with panko crumbs. Not much lemon caper sauce. I hate to give any Cape Cod restaurant a bad rating, but two in a row loses me. 3 stars because of past meals. read more

I have gone to Cape Cod every summer since I was born, and my family now on the home there. Fairway has always been a staple of our time in Cape Cod and we go there every year with our family. The food is incredible and you cannot go wrong with the granola pancakes... They taste better than you could ever imagine! And at dinner time the pizza is phenomenal and it's definitely worth the wait. They can get kind of busy, but the staff is always super friendly and very accommodating. read more

Food was delicious, we all had something different and it was all good. The home fries were my favorite kind, nice and crispy on the outside. Potato pancakes were perfectly cooked. Blueberry pancakes had lots of huge fresh blueberries. Portions were large, kids meals were perfect size. Staff is very friendly and didn't mind special requests. The only drawback was the long wait for a table. They seemed to be short staffed and it took a long time for tables to be bussed. read more
