Classic grilled cheese
Marietta C.

We were craving a grilled cheese and couldn't believe when we saw that there was a sign for a place called The Grilled Cheese Gallery. At first I was like wait, like an art gallery? Did someone paint a bunch of different kinds of grilled cheese? Whoever is doing this is messing with our feelings. Thank goodness for us, it was a REAL grilled cheese gallery serving up all different kinds of grilled cheese. From classic to mac and cheese filled (I know, WOW) they have all kinds of grilled cheese. We went with the classic and some fries. I will say, it was a bit on the greasier/heavy side and the fries weren't even cooked they were raw. Other than that, great concept and pretty cool to order a mac and cheese one if you get the chance!

Comfort food heaven Love me a perfectly crafted grilled cheese. And The Grilled Cheese Gallery has em in abundance where they make em gourmet like. A must visit in P-town. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, with the cool, artsy P-town vibe along with charming outdoor seating. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. We tried... The Asian Cowboy Beef short rib, Swiss, bacon, kimchi, chipotle, multigrain bread My goodness gracious elevated comfort food. Perfectly prepared and presented grilled cheese giving you all sorts of fiery flavor bombs. The Chesterfield Pulled pork, cheddar, hickory bbq, caramelized onion, hearty white bread. Every single bite was nothing shy of pure bliss. If you're ever in P-Town and looking for something unique and delicious, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

The Night In Amsterdam

Loved this place! The food was great and the service was fantastic. Also the music was super fun.

Holy cow yummy! This place is tucked behind some buildings down an alley but what they lack in presence they don't in flavor! Sandwiches Mac and soup were delicious and one of the lore affordable options in Ptown. We loved the staff they were so friendly and helpful and there is plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The public restroom is nearby as well if you need it. I got the BBQ pulled pork grilled cheese is was divine and my wife got the lobster one and loved it too! Would definitely visit again

The country boy & sea salt fries

Was looking for a sandwich shop and this popped up. Genuinely we had the best grilled cheeses of our lives. We had the country boy and the chesterfield. Both were absolutely delish and the soup and bbq sauce were amazing additions or on their own. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I ordered the classic grilled cheese.

My family and I visited on June 29th 2025. I wasn't even hungry when we stopped, but after seeing my husbands sandwich and smelling the deliciousness I decided I couldn't leave P-town with out having one of their sandwiches. The atmosphere, the customer service the choices! Everything thing about this place is amazing! This will be a "MUST STOP" every time we visit P-Town! And just LOOK at that cheese pull!

The Chesterfield

Gluten free options are not marked on the menu but gluten free bread is available and the cook knows what is safe and what isn't. I had The Chesterfield which was pulled pork, hickory cheddar, BBQ sauce, and caramelized onions. It came with two dipping sauces. No separate prep area but they understood the difference between preference and allergy/disease. Poutine gravy was not GF.

The loaded steak melt sandwich, with bbq sauce and a smile in the tomato soup dipping sauce.

Walked in and immediately greeted and welcomed by the friendly staff. I chose the loaded steak melt sandwich and a Diet Coke. To say it was delicious hardly does justice to my choice. Served on a nice wooden cutting board plate with bbq sauce and a small dipping sauce of tomato soup - overall presentation was excellent! I highly recommend this place - great food at fair prices!

**EAT HERE(( I mean... Grilled cheese with savory tomato soup dipping sauce??? YES PLEASE! Super nice employees making delicious grilled cheese. We got the GQ which is goat cheese, truffle glaze, prosciutto, spinach, tomatoes on Black Pumpernickel Bread.!!!! OMG WOW! This sandwich is so delicious! The tomato soup, side dipping sauce was seasoned for the Gods! The menu has a wide variety of choices. SO many people were ordering the Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese but I didnt want to go into a cheese como so I avoided it! However, it looked absolutely amazing. The salads looked good too! We also got the Lavender Lemonade which was a watered down Lemonade that didnt taste like Lavender. Highly recommend eating here!

I came here with my mother, and we split a regular grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich came with sides of tomato soup. The grilled cheese sandwich was delicious. It was the right amount of moist and crunchy. The cheese-to-bread ratio was also perfect. I also loved how the soup was made. It was seasoned well and tasted delicious. The meal was simple, and yet it was also a pleasure to the taste buds with a mix of flavors and textures. It took me back to my childhood when I would sit at home and make tomato soup and grilled cheese with my family. I only wish that they could sell the tomato soup by itself because it was really good, but they only sell it on the side with the grilled cheese. I would love to try their more complex grilled cheese sandwich options, but nothing can beat the classic.

Amsterdam grill cheese!!

Service and presentation was fantastic! The Amsterdam grill cheese was delicious and the dipping sauce turned it into grill cheese pizza taste. Don't miss out! Give it a taste!

Pink Lavender Lemonade

A little shack hidden down an alley just off Commercial Street. Lots of options, all very very cheesy. While I loved the sandwiches, I might skip the poutine next time. The Pimp Daddy: Grilled cheese, but also with bacon and a whole bunch of mac & cheese in the middle. Really great if you're craving a carby cheesy meal. I especially like how they give a little cup of tomato soup for dipping. It was the perfect indulgence after a rough day of sitting by the pool. The Classic Poutine: Portion is a positive with lots of fries, cheese and gravy. Seems a bit off though since the cheese was melted rather than squeaky. They look like they might have been cheese curd shaped, but clearly not like what you get in Montreal. Gravy on the fries was good though. Pink Lavender Lemonade: So refreshing! Not like that weird powdered pink lemonade stuff. Tasted very natural. Plus the subtle lavender aroma enhanced it even further. Great for cleansing the palette after all that cheesy richness.

OMG! Awesome cheese pull delicious sandwich!

Best grilled cheese I've ever had. This is the standard. Looks like they used three types of cheese. Absolutely delicious!

The vibes are off the charts, the food is impeccable, the drinks are strong. I dream of their frose all year. I enjoy the semi self service. Order the food at the counter, get your drinks at the bar, they bring the food to you, and you clear your own table. This makes it easy to hang out for a long time or just a quick bite. Food always comes out fast and fresh! We went twice this year and tried something different from the menu each time. Their play on a poke bowl blew my mind. It's definitely big enough to share and loaded with fish and delicious veggie salads. If you're craving something fresh and nutritious AND delicious then definitely get this!! There's plenty of seating, both shaded and in the sun, which made for a really nice atmosphere. The food was average overall and seemed more pre-made than homemade or gourmet. The classic margarita was on the smaller side and a bit too sour for my taste. The classic mojito, on the other hand, was refreshing with plenty of mint and quite good, though not exceptional. What really stands out here is the atmosphere it's the main reason to visit. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly, which added to the experience.

Originally from Ponte de Lima in the north of Portugal, Silva immigrated to the United States in late 1972. She would eventually settle in Provincetown, which at one time had a large Portuguese immigrant population. It was difficult at first to learn a new language and customs, but eventually she found her niche working as a baker and teaching English to Portuguese immigrant children. In the late 1990s, an ice cream parlor by the beach went up for sale. Silva decided to purchase it and make it her own business. Today the café is open for breakfast and lunch and serves an array of fresh baked goods, sandwiches, wraps, salads, smoothies, coffees, and shakes. Staying true to the roots of the business, Silva also continues to proudly serve Gifford's Ice Cream at the café. My family and I visited Café Maria on our recent week-long trip to the Cape. We spent the third day of our trip entirely in Provincetown. Before embarking on an early morning Whale Watch cruise, we decided to see if there were any good places nearby to grab a quick breakfast. Café Maria had great recommendations on Yelp so we decided to stop there. For coffee, my sister-in-law had an Iced Caramel Latte while I had a Hot Mocha. Both drinks were very flavorful and quickly woke us up for a day of fun activities. For food, we all decided to get some breakfast sandwiches. We opted to get them served on Portuguese Muffins, which are similar to English Muffins but much sweeter and fluffier. My wife had "Eggs, Cheese & Sausage", our son had "Eggs, Cheese & Bacon", sister-in-law had "Eggs & Cheese", and I had "Eggs, Cheese & Linguiça". These were excellent breakfast sandwiches and we were all happy with our choices! If you're looking for a cheap and quick breakfast or lunch in Provincetown then look no further than Café Maria!

The deli counter was closed by then but they had a turkey club in the refrigerator. I was hesitant since it was not fresh, but it was delicious. I also picked up bagel and a muffin. Parking is along the side which was a little tight, but still convenient. It's the kind of market you might find in a big city, with it's staff and selection of goods. I spent over a week in Cape Cod and the food here and another deli in Provincetown were the best food I had on the Cape, including some fine dining places. Definitely worth your time to stop by.

I felt like the clerk was not listening to me so I double checked with her a few minutes later to make sure the sandwich would have mustard on it she abruptly told me that no it wouldn't have mustard on it because she didn't have mustard put on it- I asked if it could be done? She was incredibly rude, She went back to the kitchen and asked them to put mustard on it a long while later I received the sandwich in a hot tinfoil wrap. I asked her why the sandwich was hot and she told me that all sandwiches in the shop are toasted unless I asked for it not to be toasted. For context my friend got an Italian and it was correct and NOT toasted.... And again, she was incredibly rude. She eventually offered to redo the sandwich which I was hesitant to agree to, but I did. Another long while later she came back out, basically threw the sandwich at me -still in the tinfoil -when I open the sandwich, I found a Canadian bacon egg sandwich on a hamburger roll with mustard! The bun was wet. I'm not sure what the hell is going on at this place but she and the other person working there were incredibly rude, short and to be honest, completely obnoxious about our whole experience I ended up walking out, told them the sandwiches wrong again and they had no response. I will never go back there, and I will tell everyone about my experience there. I will say the iced coffee was good, but not worth returning for considering all the rest of the stuff that happened.
