I called so many places but none were still in business until I called Sustainable Pooch! We were able to drop our dogs off with Genie who watched our girls overnight. Usually the sitters stay where you are staying, but we are only in a camper so I was thrilled Genie could take our girls in. Our dogs loved her, and she sent a picture at the end of the night of them snuggling with her! The host Nancy is an inspiring human being full of compassion for the parrots. Her passion for the parrots and bringing awareness to the curiosities and challenges of these creatures was heartwarming and interesting. It was great to learn something new and fun to interact with the parrots in rescue. They each have their stories outside each enclosure to learn about their individual personalities and fun ways they like to interact with people. Blessings to Nancy and the next chapter of the parrot mission.
