I was recommended this groomer by my vet. When I started with her a year ago I was told the amount was $95. Which was much more than other groomers but worth it because she's mobile and comes to your home which was awesome. Six months later she told me $125 when she finished the grooming. I disagreed and told her I was not aware of a price increase. She said ok, you're "grandfathered" in. She did two more groomings. I was told by the owner it would be $125 for the grooming. In the middle of the grooming, she messaged me and told me it would be $40 more, paws needed more trimming than she thought. When she took the dog and looked her over she never said anything about wanting $40 more to do the paws. I would've never done it.I told her I wanted a fluffy cut ( teddy bear) . She understood. She said she knew exactly what to do. The dog is a mini poodle and she looks like a plucked chicken. She was clipped down to less than half an inch.I think $165 is outrageous after being quote $125 . Please take warning of how this women pulls a bait and switch. And after all is said and done, she said to me, I didn't have to tip her since I was paying $165. read more

Owner doesn't place her customers first. Had a Saturday morning appointment for grooming my mid-size dog. Before even meeting her had a very weird text exchange; sent her a photo of my dog just for her info. She replied along the lines of "He cannot be aggressive...he won't eat me?...Oh it's adorable, I ask all Doidle owners that question." My dog is not a Doodle! Curious why she looked at a picture of a golden/collie mix and referred to it as a Doodle. Made me wonder, does she even know her breeds and do I want to trust her with a lion cut? I guess it was all in fun but very bizarre start to our customer-business owner relationship. Friday afternoon texted me "Sorry have to reschedule can u come Sunday or Monday" to which I replied Sunday would be fine and rescheduled for 10 am Sunday. Sunday morning I left home in plenty of time to drive the 10 miles so that I'd be on time. Nearly there a few minutes before 10 I had an intuition to double-check we were still on, I texted "Hi- confirming our 10am - be there in a few!". Her return text: "Have u left Water is out have to cancel can U come tom?" to which I texted back: "I'm around the corner...unable to come on a weekday...I drove all the way up here, of course to be on time I would've already left. It's very inconsiderate...will just try to find someone else" To which she relied, "Have a nice day". No apology. No offer to make it right somehow. Beware!! I had my DOUBLE COATED Great Pyrenees groomed. We gave clear instructions that we just wanted him bathed, nails clipped, and a trim around his legs and belly to clean him up. We get him back completely shaved & his nails were not properly trimmed in the slightest sense. I have no clue where the idea to shaved my double coated dog had popped into this the groomers mind. Now my double coated dog's skin is exposed to this florida heat and sun and will probably never grow back the same. She then continued to tell me that my dog's coat "will grow back so beautiful", when I had brought up the fact that she shaved my dog without permission or us asking her to do so. My dog is not a farm dog and had 0 matting or anything along those line. Shaving him to the skin was COMPLETELY unnecessary and is now a liability my wife and I have to deal with regarding his health. Even after shaving him all the way to the skin she insisted multiple times she needed to come back later and "finish the trimming" after I clearly told her we do not want any further business with her as she completely ruined my dogs coat from this point on. I recommend before doing any business with this woman that you show her a picture of exactly what you want, because clearly verbal communication is not her strong suit. read more

I am giving the Pet groomer a one star because She gave me a price over the phone, I told Her exactly what breed of dog I have and what type of cut. So when We got their She was friendly but also talked about how she had been remodeling and the money was very needed. She said she needed two hours, I was about ten minutes early so I sat in the lobby and watching and said a few things. When She was done she charged me 20$ more than She told me 80$ for a small dog is not right and I will not be back and will tell everyone I know, She should of told me before she started and Next time whoever We go to I will ask . I took my dog there for the first time this past Friday. When we got home I noticed her right eye was swollen shut. The groomer informed me that it might be an allergy or a hair in her eye. Saturday started with an emergency vet visit as her eye was still swollen shut. Diagnosis was a corneal ulcer covering 75% of her cornea. Caused by something being poked into her eye. $300 later possible loss of eyesight and the groomer told me she is not responsible and will not be responding to future texts or phone calls from me. I am very hesitant to use a new groomer, but we were visiting Key West with our pup and needed to get him a wash and trim. Alexis was extremely accommodating about taking Max in last minute on a Sunday. She made sure that we were comfortable and updated with progress. When we went to pick Max up he looked great - one of the best cuts he's ever had! Additionally, Alexis informed us about ways to manage his dental health and his anxiety about getting his nails cut.
