Out here living that Salud life. Salud is a tasty addition to 2nd Street in Belmont Shores. I've found myself returning here again and again, because their juices are just that good. Salud specializes in fresh pressed juices, but also offers health shots, smoothies, acai bowls, avocado toast, soup, and baked goods. I've tried a number of their green juices and only recently started exploring their latte menu. Their superfood lattes are incredibly unique and filled with natural ingredients that will activate your brain. I tried the Head Change, which is filled with lion's mane, maca, dates, MCT oil, lucuma, and your choice of milk. This drink was creamy and tasted a bit like a light horchata. I also snagged their 100% pear juice (so tasty!) and the handmade strawberry poptart (filled with the most delicious jam!) I love how dog friendly this place is as well. Aww man, my chocolate and peanut butter smoothy tasted watered down and then it would taste chalky sometimes. It wasn't very smooth and I was sad about it because it was my one "sweet" thing for the day. The workers were really friendly though! read more

I've incorporated Salud into my weekly routine I, and my body, love it that much. The next day after drinking I always get the liver tonic and other beet one (helps the eyes within 30 minutes, I swear!), on days I go for a walk around the neighborhood I enjoy the 4th street smoothie (formerly the purple one), and the açaí bowls are PACKED and delicious! I love the sustainability of the Salud spots since if you bring back the glass bottles, you get points that go towards rewards - and the rewards are actually legit and compound quickly! The inside is always clean (same with the Belmont Location) and the juices taste like the ingredient list rather than like 46% of your daily sugar intake (cough, Pressed.) Is it pricey? Yes. But do I honestly feel better after drinking their juices for weeks? Absolutely. And bonus because they're yummy. read more

I've been an avid Salud fan since I moved to Long Beach and although their juices are too strong for me, I really enjoy their smoothies. I usually get their their 4th on Cherry which is super smooth and not too sweet or their Greenbelt smoothie which doesn't have an overpowering Kale or Spinach taste. I think the mango really balances it out. Since the smoothies have been my go-to I haven't gotten out of my comfort zone, but last week I tried their Acai bowl and WOW, it was delicious. I love how fresh it tastes and it blows sorbet acai businesses out of the park. The Junipero comes with acai, mangos, strawberry and banana with strawberry, banana and blueberry on the top. The icing on the cake is the granola, it was layered in the bowl and they added a generous portion which gave it that nice crunch. It's a tiny shop but they get a lot of customers! I ordered a LB green belt (a green smoothie with: Kale, Spinach, Cashews, Mango, Hemp, Coconut Milk) while my sister got a smoothie bowl, called the Colorado Lagoon (Pitaya, mango, strawberry, banana, cacao powder, coconut chips, date, coconut milk; topped with housemade granola, banana, strawberry, honey, and cacao nibs) and a ginger immunity shot. So good and refreshing! It did take a while to get the smoothie but we weren't in a rush. The staff person was friendly and she was the only one there so we didn't mind. I'd go back! Was in town from Northern California and went on long walk around Long Beach. After a few miles, we decided something to drink and a family member recommended this place Salud Juice. I ordered the Ice Latte Matcha with coconut milk and was pleasantly surprised how refreshing and tasty the drink was. I'm a health food enthusiast and I love this drink and place. The counter person was very nice and said the shop been around for 8 years. My party of family ordered Ice Mocha Lattee with whole milk. The other ordered Belmont smoothie with coconut milk. First time here and I loved it! The shop was super cute and the staff made me feel so welcoming! It was so hard to choose what I wanted because they have so many options! I had a spicy ginger shot and it was delicious. I went ahead and got the Gnome Home bowl and it was also very delicious. The amount of toppings was just perfect and was also the perfect blend to go with the base of the bowl. The presentation of the bowl was very nice as well. Absolutely adore the ambience, the atmosphere, and most importantly the attitude of everyone at Salud. It's one of the friendliest faces I see to help me start my day after I gym, or sometimes I just pass by to say hi. I always enjoy seeing them and making conversation, it feels revitalizing to talk to people and have that little boost in positivity. The smoothies are spectacular, always consistent and delicious. I can't recall having a bad drink nor experience. Never a day where I've come in disappointed because I trust their delivery. Always a pleasure to have a Rosie's, which is perfectly thick and refreshing. As my personal favorite, I can't ever turn it down and I personally recommend it. Down By The Bay is simply ideal after a workout; nutty, fulfilling, invigorating. A safe choice to fall on if I don't want anything else. 4th and Cherry is a delectably sweet, a tropical punchy go-to for those hot days. I enjoy The Belmont, the little sweet treats, the ginger shots. The drinks will always satisfy my cravings while also being healthy. The seasonal Pumpkin Smoothie also deserves appreciation for its resemblance to tasting like pumpkin pie. At this time, I want to commend Heather, Kailynne, Alaya, and Teal for always being the familiar faces I get to see all the time I come in. Usually I'm not one to socialize but from the moment I walked in the two women working there greeted me so warmly and were so nice! It seemed that they actually liked their job and were kind enough to help me with my order! Tbh I was expecting subpar service since most juice places have people with RBF and make you feel like you're back in HS with catty mean girl energy. Definitely not here. The matcha was amazing it is ceremonial grade and they make their own milk! So much better and healthier than going across the street to Starbucks. I also got a juice which was so fresh and even when I was waiting for my drink I saw the supervisor freshly making protein balls so I had to get some and they didn't disappoint! Wholesome natural ingredients no artificial sweeteners or additives! Everything seriously made to order. The juices here are so good. I like that you can sample the juices too and the sample cups are not flimsy like pressed juicers across the street. I also think you get more bang for your buck here because their member point system is a lot better. The service here was outstanding. Great healthy spot to get juice, smoothies, or bowls. Located right on the heart of 2nd St. They also have refrigerated to-go juices and some snacks like protein balls. They have an array of different flavors of juices and smoothies, some are more green, some have more protein. I went with a smoothie bowl. I got The White One (has peanut butter in it) and added blueberries to be blended in. It was topped with granola, coconut, banana and strawberries. I really loved it. My family loves their juices and gets them every time they come into town. They also love their nut milk. Highly recommend, support local! Everyone is friendly here. read more

I'm updating my prior review after TWO (2) consecutive NEGATIVE experiences at Salud Juice. Although the products Salud Juice offers are great... their customer service is TERRIBLE. Last night I placed my order for twelve (12) juices. Yep... dropping a bit of cash to get in a three-day juice cleanse. I sent my husband down to their 2nd Street store at the designated pick-up time... to pick up my juices only to find they only had half of my juices. The gentleman told my husband that they had tried calling me all morning. So, my husband called to see what he should do. I told my husband to ask them to give us a full refund and cancel the order. I checked my phone and did see two "missed calls" BUT... no messages. Now, in today's day and age... we all get calls from unknown numbers... of course, we don't answer. There was no message left... so I assume these are my daily ration of SPAM calls. I called the Salud Store and asked the gentleman about my order. He explained he tried calling twice. I asked him why he didn't leave me a voicemail message. His response was that "Customer kept coming in"???? Really??? I told the gentleman at Salud that he should know that this is poor customer service. Had he left a message I would have called back, I would have rescheduled my pick up time when my order would have been complete and.... I wouldn't have had my husband waste his time driving down to 2nd street.... look for parking.... only to come to his store to find out my order was NOT ready. As mentioned, this was my second consecutive NEGATIVE experience. The time prior my husband came down to their store and was SHORTED several juices. When I called the store to find out why my order was short I was told that the juices had been left on the counter and not placed in my box. So.... I had to return later that day to retrieve the juices that were shorted. This is no easy feat as parking on 2nd street his TERRIBLE. Sadly, I don't see myself ordering again from Salud. There are many juice options very close by.... that are less expensive because they are BIG chain juice stores. The very reason I supported Salud was because they are a locally owned business... but if they want to compete with the larger stores... they're going to have to step-up their customer service. read more

Updating review because lately I've been ordering delivery instead of going into store and have had a better experience. I do enjoy their açaí and Pitaya and smoothie bowls, sometimes they don't fill the container but they have been better about this lately, I do wish there was a way to customize the bowls on delivery apps like remove the honey etc, not everybody wants honey on everything but other then that I do think they are a decent size when they fill them to the top for the price point read more

Stopped by really quick to grab a smoothie! Service was great and extremely quick. The young lady at the register did a great job of connecting with me and was extremely friendly. I told her I wanted something thick as she recommended that I get a peanut butter banana smoothie and it was really good. I will say the price was steep for 16 ounce. It was $11. That seems to be the new prices for smoothies in the area. Overall I would go back and visit because I'm interested in knowing more about their cleanses. read more
