My logicboard failed, but before I sent it off for repair I wanted to see if my Hard drive was screwed up too. Dropped it off and they said they would have an answer in about a week. After ten days I called them and they said they were just completing the scans and would call me back. They never did call me back. Twelve days after dropping it off I noticed an email from them that seemed to say that the hard drive was fine, but they recommended they could recover the data for $750. ...I'm not sure why they would charge so much when I could go to Best Buy and by a hard drive case for $30 and put the hard drive in that. I was confused so the next day I called and left a message asking if I could talk about the email. Again, they never returned my call. So the day after that I dropped by to pick it up. The gentleman working there was surprised to see me and asked if I had called ahead because my laptop was still disassembled. I explained that I had called yesterday but had yet to hear a reply. He then finished up with the customer he was currently working with and then promptly assembled my laptop and gave it back to me. They are nice in person and perhaps do good work, but in my particular instance they did not call when they said they would, did not return my phone calls, and was wanting to charge me a ridiculous amount for a very simple, easy task.

If anything happens to your computer or you just simply need extra security on it give him a call. He is wonderful at figuring out what your computer needs. My computer simply had a mind of it's own and was protesting the Internet. He gave it a good wake up call and voila, my computer works!!! I have absolutely no computer knowledge and he broke down the things I needed to know in lay mans terms!!! That makes me feel so much better and less like an idiot. I absolutely hate tech guys that try to appear smarter than you. The rates are very reasonable. You can call to make an appointment and he will visit your home or business. Just before Christmas our HP Envy 17 Laptop was totally frozen by ransomware, the first time ever for a problem at home. We called Jerry, he answered right away and he was well aware of the problems related to this type of computer attack. He offered the option of coming to the house or having us drop it off at his location. We took it to him and asked him to look into a few other issues. He provided an estimate (VERY fair and honored), requested a small deposit and, since it was Christmas weekend we expected a long down time. He called right after the holiday and had it ready to go. He took extra time to explain what he had done and how it worked on our unit. After running it through its paces for a few days, a couple of glitches surfaced that were not related to his repairs but were evidently affected by the attack. We called Jerry late that afternoon. What we were experiencing was complicated but he got right on it. He logged into our Laptop from home at about 7 pm and stayed on it until 1 am, totally clearing up the problem areas and resulting in a machine that worked faster and cooler than when purchased new a year ago!! NO EXTRA CHARGE. A really nice guy, who is fair, honest and excellent at his craft. Highly Recommended.
