The RUN...do not walk....to the closest mobile phone repair facility. Even a tiny amount of water can easily cause interior corrosion and render the phone inoperable forever, so minimize the damage ASAP.

On multiple occasions he's called me from random #'s asking me to Zelle him some cash because he can't afford to get his phone fixed, so that's why when my phone charging port failed I knew exactly where to go. I've been on Android & Samsung for 13 years never having had an issue other than loss. So when my S24 Ultra USB-C Port got loose I was thinking of just upgrading, but having lost some key features when they released the S25 Ultra I decided to repair. Phone was at 15% and was taking 3 hrs to charge via wireless and I needed my phone for work the next day (4PM thursday). I called ahead and they said $125 without knowing what model/brand. Showed up and James quoted hour and a half which was perfect as they closed at 7 and had the port in stock. They can sure fix the easy stuff, but when I asked about cases and accessories they pretty much only carry Iphone and the latest models from other brands S24 Ultra is a flagship phone. Service was great, but my screen protector was bubbled from when they removed the glass. Not a big deal, but I wish they had my brand/model for a replacement. While i was browsing I heard James interacting with another customer which gave me pause as he didn't seem to have any sympathy for them wanting to save an old phone which had pictures that were priceless to them. Loss of a star for that. Haven't had any issues since and I'll likely return if I ever have need for repair not through my insurance.

They repaired it under warranty the first time, but then it started lifting again. As soon as it did, the pressure caused the screen to crack. Now they're telling me the crack voids the warranty, even though the crack was caused by the screen lifting -- the same issue they supposedly fixed before. When I explained this, the man I spoke with said I should've brought it in before it cracked, which makes no sense. The crack happened the moment the screen started lifting. How was I supposed to predict that? They've shown no interest in taking responsibility for their poor repair work. Instead, they're offering me a "discount" to pay them again -- for a third attempt at something they've already done badly twice. I won't be going back, and I recommend you don't either. They explicitly gave me a flat price of $499 for a display replacement. Based entirely on that number, I took the time out of my day to drive down, drop off my machine, and pay a non-refundable $30 diagnostic fee. However, once they had my laptop completely disassembled on their workbench, the price suddenly jumped by $100 to a new quote of $599. When I questioned why the price changed from their written quote, they claimed that the initial $499 price was actually only for a "B-Grade" used screen with scuffs and scratches on the outer casing. If I wanted a normal-looking, flawless screen ("A-Grade"), I had to pay the higher premium. They had my exact model number from the very first text. Withholding information about different "grades" of used parts until a customer's laptop is already taken apart in your shop is a highly deceptive business practice. Had they been transparent upfront that a standard screen replacement would cost $599, I would have opted to go to the Apple Store instead of wasting my time and money here. I paid the $30 fee just to get my laptop put back together and returned to me. Go to Apple or a more transparent shop that honors their initial quotes.
