It used to be Hancock Fabrics. Now I will be forthright and let you know this is a no frills place. Of course you shouldn't expect money to be spent on lighting or other bric-a-brac when the business is an extension of Habitat for Humanity (a non-profit). What sets this store apart from others is after you venture through the usual stuff (furniture, books, CD's, glasses, etc.), the other half is focused on home repairs/supplies. There are washers and dryers here, but also vents and pipes and bolts and a number of items you might need to fix and/or add on to the home. The pricing across the board is amazing. That day I walked out with a office chair (see the uploaded picture) for only $5. It is gently used and is very comfortable. Stop in today and remember, every purchase supports Habitat for Humanity. *Insider's Tip -Take the time to comb through the CD's and tapes. There are some classics in there, most for only $1.

Also when do purchase items from here round off the change because it goes toward the Habitat cause. One of my top stores in my area for hard to find item to renovate homes with. I keep giving them chances by donating & purchasing items there but after this afternoon, I've decided to never step foot in that particular store ever again while I'm in the State of GA!!!! Today incident was the last time for me. I'm patiently waiting to purchase my items, me thinking I'm next, the cashier suddenly leaves the register without informing me of anything! (She looked me dead in my face & walked away). After that, I proceeded to put the items that I was going to spend my hard earned retirement money on & I left the store. I reiterate, that's not the first time something of this sort happened, but today was the day that I've had enough & came to the conclusion that today definitely , was my last time stepping into that particular store! To be fair though, I did have some positive experiences with some of the employees but it's not enough to make me want to go back. Y'all need to do under cover visits so that y'all could just weed out the ones that's just there for a check! Customer service is everything. It's what keeps your establishment afloat.

Overall a little pricey for a thrift store. Definitely needs some organization! Staff was not wearing masks first visit but when I helped a friend pick up a couple chairs the next visit, the owner was wearing a mask.

The place is huge and quite junky to me. I was kind of shocked how junky it was because I have never been to a store like this before, but I was open to looking around. They had clothes, shoes, kitchen utensils and appliances, household appliances, and furniture. A lot of the things that were in here were broken and in need of repair. The owner says people come in and buy things that are broken and fixes them.....I guess!!!! They had a ton of special occasion dress that wear very inexpensive with the tags still on them. My friend did find a pair of shoes she liked. She was also interested in a bed in the back that was $325. It was a Queen size bed with huge wood fixtures on the bed frame. It was nice and sturdy. She was interested in the bed but she thought the price was kind of high, the owner did lower the price but she was still unsure. They also delivery to your home for $25. I thought that was a great deal. My friend also bought a vacuum cleaner, punch bowl, and vanity for $35. That was a pretty great deal for those items. I'm glad my friend was able to come here and get some things she was looking for.
