My experience with Salvatore Ferragamo was quick and efficient... Guys night out to celebrate our boy's birthday and of course we wait until the last minute to buy him a group present. We decided on the Gancini wallet with the ID window because my bro is functional af. I went to the SF website and reserved it via the interwebs. I was emailed a confirmation number and headed over to the brick and mortar store in the palazzo. Upon entering, I was greeted immediately and asked if I needed assistance. I showed her my reservation and she had the wallet for me to check out in under 5 minutes. I picked up a card holder for myself and asked if she could package my boy's gift separately. She wrapped it up it as a gift along with the gift receipt separate from my purchase. Fantastic. I was offered a bottled water while she was preparing both bags. Wow, thank god I walked in today. One of the best shoe purchasing I've ever had in my life. Cruising through the Forum shops I had a mental note to look for a pair of shoes that actual fit. I've got foot issues from years of athletic so the average shoe just does not fit. Upon entering I was greeted by several gentleman dressed very nicely. Always nice to be greeted these days , don't ya think. Juan who became my sales guru started by asking what my needs were and started dialing my feet into shoes that would provide comfort and style. After multiple pair I found my correct size and style I desired. Now I would have purchased a few others but damn my size was sold out. Even the crocodile ones I really wanted. However for a $2000 pair of shoes I wanted to try on first Yes, the sale was consummated and since I didn't wanna carry them on the plane, Juan offered "FREE SHIPPING" direct to my home. Fairly small store at the Grand Canal Shoppes. I am not a fan of this brand cause the styles are a bit too formal and older for my taste. Their shoes are ridiculously uncomfortable! Even the ballet flats I got were horrible on my feet, so I rarely wear them at all! Hubby needed something so we came in to take a look. To my surprise a women's silver tone leather belt with crystal buckle caught my eye! I never thought this brand could make something this cute! Our sales lady was super helpful and friendly. She measured and cut our belts for us so they could fit better. I was just glad that I found a very cute piece here! read more

I was in Las Vegas for a trade show and I had to visit my favorite stores! I love my Ferragamo shoes and handbags. I did visit their boutique in Rome, however with the new designer in place, I didn't see anything I loved. So here I am visiting their location at the Wynn Hotel and I was greeted by Kelsey. We had a great time chatting about shoes and handbags. I loved her work bag and she was kind to have it brought in for me to view. Saturday evening someone stole my bag and I told her I would come by to look. Thank goodness, the property found my bag and ID's and I only had one credit card in my wallet and my second one was in my room. I saw her on Sunday afternoon, and the bag did not fit my style. Good news, I told Kelsey I don't have a bucket bag and she found one for me. The whole staff and security team are professional, and very welcoming. I seldom write reviews for retail stores, but my experience shopping at this Ferragamo was so pleasant and great that I really want to leave the praise they deserve. While this store is not as big as the flagship stores I typically visit in Beverly Hills and NYC, the selection is complete enough that you will still find the staples you need. Want something not in the store? The staff would be glad to order and ship to you - for free of course. I picked up a few ties, and some beautiful red pumps for mom. Those pumps were quite a mission as it turned out, as I ended up having to exchange for a special size that they had to order from a store in Hawaii, and then ship to California for my mom. Came to Vegas for vacation and walking around, I felt my Jordan's were a bit uncomfortable so I wanted to buy some suede shoes. A while back, I had a horrible experience at this store with JiaRu. I walked in and went to look at the sale shoes. I picked up a pair a heels and from across the store she yelled and said they were on sale. The next interaction occurred by the sale men's accessories. She said all the items in the vitrine were on sale. When asked for the price she didn't even take the time to check, which probably would have been a wise choice for her because when we got to the register the item wasn't even on sale. At the register, she continued to give a ton of attitude. She ended up losing a sale because of how unknowledgeable and rude she was. There are other Ferragamo stores on the strip and this is one I will not be visiting again. read more

Went in on Christmas eve last year with two girl friends of mine. They knew exactly what they wanted so we went straight to the shoe section without wandering around. It was empty. A very tall sales associate walked to us in no time and greeted us warmly. (Something you would normally see everywhere except at Opening Ceremony L.A) He sensed the great interest my friends had in the shoes and started talking:" We were really busy today, a lot of people came in. We probably sold 500 pairs now." I thought about that for 5 seconds and turned to one of my friends and asked her:"Is that true?" She said yes. Well, you shouldn't trust any girls who's about to burn their money, so I did the math myself. Lets see: if they opened for 12 hours, that's about 50 pairs per hour, around one per minute. Ha, I just caught you lying. (my friends spent 40 minutes in there's a bought two pairs.) Later on, he started flattering customers with words like "oh this is made for you." BE AWARE when you pay with cash here. When you paying cash The sales women will switching $100 to $1 And she say you gave me $1 instead $100. What a thieves! I am staying at the Wynn Hotel and I took only $400 ($100 bill x4) to buy a tie for present and went straight down to there with my mom. As soon as I got there I choose one tie then she said $ 205.73. So I took $200 out from my small purse and ask to my mom if she has small bill. Then she had 5 of $1 . So I put the $5 on the table one by one. And asked my mom 75cents. So I gave her $200 bill and put $5 on the table one by one. She was watching that. And gave her $0.75. The sales woman watched the money on the table in front of me and grab all the money to a back door. After for a while then came back to me to ask $100 more. She said I gave her $100 and $6 I went to see the camera at the end of the stroke, but the camera was behind my back and I did not see the money on the table. The important thing is that the sales woman puts something in her pocket at the checkout counter inside, then go out then comes in and hold the money back out and said less than a hundred dollar. I've turned a hundred dollars into a dollar bill. When we watched the camera when she put something inside pocket, she said it was price tag. Then why she take off the price tag and put her pocket and went outside? And where? Then she said go to your room and find your $100. You will find it and she blamed me. And she was keep saying that she didn't count in front of me. Just brought it to the cashier. I was counting in front of her and she saw it. What a liar. What really gets me angry is that I did not make a mistake but they told me that I did it wrong and did not take any action. I'm thinking now that if I had my regular wallet with me that time. And told me $100 less, I might thought my mistake and I would have given it to her. But thanks god I took only $400 and I remember 3 old versions of hundreds and 1 new version. So I gave her one old version hundred and one new version of hundred like I totally remember. And my mom saw it too. But the manager didn't trust me. She thought I gave her only one $100 bill. Anyways I can not believe they hired thieves as sales. Results: the sales women took my $100 And they blamed me it was my fault. I expect more from a high end retailer, the sales people here are terrible. They were all just standing around, no one acknowledged my husband and I for sometime. I needed a belt sized that I got from a Ferragamo outlet, I purchased the belt there without my husband and needed it size later on for a wedding that evening. Apparently they are not allowed to size belts from outlet stores. The person I spoke to repeatedly said they weren't allowed to all the while I was asking for an explanation. She kept saying saying "umm we cant" "ah its against store policy". I didn't want to argue so I left. I was getting so angry, and had I stayed there longer I would have had some choice words for her and all the other useless people hovering around behind one tiny showcase. Be aware before you buy from this store. The store will not allow returns or exchanges, even if you were promised so by sales people. If you argue with them, they will say you are "making a scene" and threaten to call security. This is exactly what happened to me. Terrible place. I can't think of a worse place to shop. read more
