I contacted Sam regarding installing Smart Bulbs for wireless access. We discussed and set up a same day appoinment. He arrived on time. He asked questions, understood what I needed and consulted on having the bulbs installed or installing a switch. It was best to have the swtich installed. He installed it efficiently and ensured I had the app set up and it worked prior to leaving. Sam communicated and was engaged. He made the process smooth. Will work with Sam in the future. I hired him for a paint touch up job, he said he ll charge $250 and use the leftover paint from the last job. He used FLAT paint to touch up Semi Gloss paint. I called him twice to come and fix it he said he's already done the job. Will never hire him again. So he messaged me to come fix the paint on Sunday but I told him I hired someone already since he didn't admit his mistake the 2 times I called. I asked him to refund me my money and this is his reply... I cannot do that Because I spend the time you give me the paint you didn't say which one for which wall I checked just checked the John Day was writing in the top of the can this is part of the wall and I did the job for you this is not my fault this is your fault because you have to give me the paint you say this is the paint for the wall knocked me read more

He pulled out my stove for cabinet painting, when he put it back in and attached the gas and valves he did it wrong !!!!! I had to call the gas company last night because the stove would not work end house filled with gas, gas company came and said whoever put this back did not do it right ! Be ware!!!!!! Sam completely flaked on our 9 am appointment. After I called twice and texted him, he finally decided to text me 30 minutes after our appointment time to let me know that he was "having car trouble". If you're having car trouble, wouldn't you know that before the appointment time and not 30 minutes after? Glad I stayed home from work this morning for this. Sam came by my place of work to take care of a buzzing sound coming from the ceiling. His ladder dented my wall and scratched the paint off. He emailed me a bill for the inspection and a proposal for the total cost to fix it. I emailed him back twice letting him know there was wall damage and that while we were interested in moving forward with him, we'd still need to repair the wall. He has not responded. Needed a lot of work done at my new shop. Needed painting , flooring , electrical , bathroom repairs ect. I was recommended Sam through a friend and glad I called him. I kept getting high bidded by these other companies and Sam came in at a very reasonable price and said it would take around 7 days to finish. In 5 days Sam calls me and tells me all done. This guys works hard and everything came out looking really nice and he matched the paint perfect . Hired Sam after a complete home remodel to install toilet paper holders, towel racks, install a bathroom sink, install trim faucets for new bathtub/shower. In a nutshell, he was polite, but extremely slow and not precise. It took him twice the time it should have. He had to recaulk around the toilet he installed as it was thick and awful looking. He said he did in in the dark (we didn't have lighting at that time), although he was coming back the next day and should have done it then. He did not use a level (I had to ask him to do that) and even when he did, two of the items he installed were crooked. I fixed them myself. I told him (marked the exact spot) where to place a toilet paper holder, and he installed it in the wrong spot so that had to be removed. He attempted to straighten out the light bar he installed in one of the bathrooms and cracked the glass (he left and didn't tell me and I found it later). He was unable to install the tub fixtures so I had someone else do it. However, he still charged me for doing that work. I would not recommend him for those that want top notch work. He is inexpensive and good for a house I would want to "flip." read more

Sam, The Handyman is really bad with his work. I hired him to do a dry wall repair and painting. He was initially pleasant, but he became very argumentative after I signed the paper. He did not protect the furniture, carpet, and surrounding well. The dust and materials were everywhere on the furniture and carpet. He did not cover the carpet. The work is horrible. Also, he damages cabinets during his work. I have hire someone else to redo the work and repair the cabinets. I get angry just thinking about the whole experience.
