I strongly recommend avoiding this company. Zero stars if possible. My experience was extremely disappointing. I paid over $750 for a re-install, but the original problem was never resolved. When I contacted them to come back and address the issue, instead of standing behind their work, they told me I needed over $1,000 in additional repairs. I questioned whether those repairs were actually necessary, and rather than answering my questions, their response was simply, "Do not waste our time." That level of customer service was shocking, especially after I had already spent hundreds of dollars with them. To make sure I wasn't being unreasonable, I spoke with multiple other repair companies and the manufacturer. Based on those conversations, I was told the additional repairs they recommended were unnecessary. However, because this company insisted the repairs were needed, I had another contractor perform the work. After that, I contacted this company again regarding the original problem that still existed. They then told me that because I had another company perform the additional work, they would not come back to address or stand behind their original repair. In my opinion, this is not an honest company. They charged me for work that did not fix the problem, recommended costly additional repairs that others told me were unnecessary, refused to answer reasonable questions about those recommendations, and ultimately refused to stand behind their original work. I have the text message exchanges documenting these interactions. They clearly show how dismissive they were and how they avoided answering my questions instead of explaining or supporting their recommendations. The messages speak for themselves. I would not use this company again, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable service. Avoid at ALL cost. RESPONSE TO SERVICE PROVIDER: First, it was not "several months later." The issue reappeared shortly after the work was performed, which is why I contacted you. I do not believe it is reasonable for work of this nature to fail so soon after installation. While the Group may have hired you to perform the original reinstallation, I was the homeowner affected by the work, and the fact remains that the original problem was never resolved. When I contacted you directly, I did not reject your recommendation. I asked reasonable questions about why more than $1,000 in additional repairs were necessary. Rather than explaining your diagnosis or answering my questions, your response was, "Do not waste our time." I have the text message documenting that exchange. You also insisted that both refrigerator door and freezer door gaskets needed to be replaced, even though there was no issue with the second gasket. Multiple other repair companies, as well as the manufacturer, told me that replacing both gaskets was unnecessary and unrelated to the original problem. Nevertheless, because you insisted the work was required before you would address the issue, I had the gasket replacement performed. As expected, replacing the gaskets did not resolve the problem because they were never the cause. The original issue remained, confirming that your original work had not corrected it. When I contacted you again, you refused to return and stand behind your original work. This review is based on my entire experience--not just the repair itself, but also how my questions were handled, the unnecessary repairs that were recommended, and your refusal to correct the original work after the problem remained unresolved. ORIGINAL POST: ***This is my first and only 1 star review I have ever submitted*** I had this company install my washer and dryer. I should have had them only do that job, because they couldn't even do that correctly. But instead they roped me into a "deal" to get my laundry valve replaced as well. Mind you these are not licensed plumbers. They are only licensed to install appliances. After the installation, I got a complaint from the tenant that it was leaking almost immediately after they left. So they came back and mickey moused it (see the ghetto bronze fitting). This is not to mention he damaged the molding in the laundry nook moving the unit in and out multiple times. Never got any warnings or notification that this could happen. When asked to fix the damage they caused, the manager asked me to pay him to fix it--no ownership for mistakes made. 9 months later, it started to leak again. Called them back to address the issue. Instead, I get an earful about only a 30-day warranty. Looks like they don't know about California's warranty laws, especially for contractors. Then I even get a threat, "you want to hear my ugly side..". Absolutely unprofessional. I called an actual professional, and when we pulled out the washer/dryer, I was shocked on how it was installed. See pictures of the washer/dryer connector that came off completely. Overall, terrible installation, terrible attitude, and terrible manager. Maybe they might be good at installing a microwave oven, but anything more complex find an actual professional. **UPDATED REVIEW AFTER RESOLUTION** Harry called back after this review and resolved the issue with a full refund. (My husband thought for 3 seconds he could cut the granite. I thought the whole time, "Not a chance in hell, buddy!") I ordered a new washer and dryer set with pedestals from Home Depot. Home Depot provides free installation and delivery! What a deal! Turns out free means incompetent unskilled delivery drivers from Temco who have no idea how to install an appliance. Between 6/28 and 7/8 we had four Temco crew's who could not install a washing machine. GE then came out and verified they botched the job. At this point I was sick to death of my new expensive purchase and was desperate to move on with my life. I called my usual repair guy but he only deals with repairs, not installs. After some yelp searching I came across ACE who only does installations, not repairs. Sounds perfect! I call ACE and speak to the owner Harry. He patiently listens to my panicked ramblings about Home Depot and Temco and lets me know he'll be out in 2 to 3 hours. I wasn't expecting him to come out the same day so that was a pleasant surprise! He called 20 minutes before arrival. Harry and Donnie show up, listen to my same ramblings about how horrible Temco is and they get to work. Unlike Temco these guys were prepared. Lots of tools for different situations, huge collection of spare screws and different connectors, they made sure to deal with any dripping water (Temco flooded my floor), even had a electronic gas sniffer to check all the dryer connections. It took 3.5 hours for Harry and Donnie to fix the botched install job. GE found that Temco installed the washer to the pedestal incorrectly and left off the feet. ACE had to loosen each corner, lift it up, slip in the foot, and retighten everything. Was a painstaking process but it prevented him from taking the whole machine back outside and laying on it's back to remove the pedestal completely. They also had to uninstall the dryer and move it so they could access the washer. After 3 hours they finished but when he did a test wash he could tell from my expression I was a bit disappointed in the end result. Without me saying a word he spend 30 more minutes fine tuning the leveling, positioning the washer, etc, until it was perfect. Another test wash and it was perfect. I've done several washes since and could not be happier. Harry and Donnie spent as much time as needed to get the job done without rushing. They listened to my concerns and resolved them. I'm not going to lie, it was expensive but it was a pain in the arse job. He told me to contact Home Depot to see if they're reimburse me and wrote on my invoice that he found the installation was done incorrectly by Temco. I called Home Depot and no questions asked they refunded me 100% the installation cost I had to pay ACE. Even if this didn't happen I am glad I hired the professionals to install my appliances. He includes 30 day warranty too, Temco gives 48 hours. In the future if I get a new appliance I'll have it delivered and hire ACE to install to know the job will be done right. Harry is the man! We had a bad dishwasher install by the Big Box delivery team. Ace Appliance Installations came the same day and not only fixed the 2 issues with the original install, but he fixed the underlying issue. Which was boss-level intuition! The original installers suggested the unit was bad and that every other unit was going to do the same thing. Which would've caused an endless cycle of returns and letdowns. Harry figured out the original cabinets were likely made off site (and probably 15 years prior), and that the thru-holes for the plumbing were just a bit too forward. Saying that this is what's been causing issues with the new dishwasher, and likely even the previous unit. Well, he was spot on. He might've solved an issue that will help our dishwasher to long outlast the previous one by a decade. His price was fair for his experience and attention to solving the root issue. Thanks Harry! Harry and Alfredo installed our stacked washer and dryer. We wanted to get this particular installation professionally done because we had to fit our units into a tight space. Moreover, the store we originally asked to do the installation didn't seem to want to take their time doing the installation. They told us to get a more flexible vent rather than the semi-rigid vent provided to us at the time of purchase to make it easier to install. We didn't feel comfortable not using a semi-rigid vent for our gas dryer, so we decided to go with a company that would take its time to properly install our units. Harry told us over the phone that he would definitely be able to install our dryer with a semi-rigid vent. When he came to do the installation, he took his time making sure everything was hooked up well. Even the way he and Alfredo slid the units into the room was amazing. They took their time (about an hour and a half) and did a test run with the appliances to make sure they worked well. We've used the washer and dryer a few times now, and we have had no issues! We're happy we paid for this service. It would have been cheaper to go with the hardware store for sure, but for our new home, we did not want our appliances installed hastily by folks who have multiple stops throughout the day. Harry helped me remove an old mini fridge and install a new one. The builder installed the old mini fridge before installing the wood flooring, so the mini fridge was sitting on the subflooring under the kitchen counter. This made it impossible to lift the fridge out (damn builders!!). Harry's crew initially cut the front feet off and that got the fridge out half way, but it was impossible to access and remove the back feet. The only choices were to either remove the wood flooring in front of the fridge, or to cut the fridge into pieces. We went with cutting the fridge and Harry's crew did an awesome job. I've now worked with Harry twice, and both times he exceeded my expectations! The first time, I called him when I realized the new oven I purchased from Home Depot wasn't going to be installed by them. It wasn't a freestanding oven and needed to fit into an existing cabinet. Harry didn't hesitate to take on the challenging job of cutting the cabinet to accommodate the new oven, which had different dimensions from the old one. To make matters even better, he discovered that my gas line didn't have a turn-off switch (a major safety issue) and made sure to address it.
