Their bagels are always fresh, soft, chewy, and full of flavor. They're also a great deal at $3.50 each. On my recent visit, I tried their bagel sandwich with egg and bacon on a jalapeno and cheese bagel with cream cheese. The sandwich was so yummy! The scrambled egg was fluffy, and although the bacon wasn't super crispy, it was still tasty and paired well with the sandwich. It was also a great deal at $7.50. I have yet to try their drinks, but they have a variety of Filipino inspired lattes like ube and pandan. They even sell calamansi juice. Customer service is great! The only downside is the parking. They only have street parking, and it can be difficult to find a spot on busy days.

The blue Thai tea was pretty and still had all those classic sweet warm spiced flaves but not gonna lie did taste a bit watered down. The avocado blt had nutty smooth avocado, savory meaty bacon, juicy tomatoes, leafy lettuce, and tangy mustard. I got it on their jalapeno cheddar bagel which was chewy, soft yet dense, and had a bit of a kick from the jalapeños. Wasn't getting much cheese flaves tho. The pizza bagel also had a nice chewy, soft, dense bagel with a sugary tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. I got this one on a garlic bagel which gave it an extra crunch from the garlic bits and was yummy. Overall this place was lowkey pretty good. Thai tea $6 Avo blt $8.50 Pizza bagel $8

It was a nice environment and they had seating and tables. The shop tenders didn't say much or really engage unless spoken to first. I'd rate 4.5/5 on this because they forgot my macaron once and I got charge for it. Found out when I got home and making the drive back for the mac wouldn't have made any sense. They have food too. I don't remember ever eating here but they look good from what others were eating.

The parking lot is pretty large, which is always a plus. When we walked in, we were greeted by a gentleman with glasses who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. He patiently explained all the different options and flavors to us, which I really appreciated. The customer service here was superb and beyond what we usually get at other donuts shops. On the right side of the shop, they have vegan options as well. They have so many unique donut flavors, and their prices are actually really good compared to other specialty donut shops. Most places I've been to only have one or two cronut flavors, but they had FOUR available when we arrived! They apparently have even more flavors throughout the day, but we came a little too late, which was totally our fault. Everything about this place was a great experience - the variety, the prices, and especially the customer service. The gentleman who helped us was genuinely so kind. This is definitely one of my favorite donut spots now, and I'll absolutely be coming back!

When hubby and I entered the donut shop, we were warmly greeted by an employee, and I was delighted to see signage clearly labeling their vegan options which consisted of donut holes, glazed donuts, cake donuts, and filled donuts . After looking at their variety of vegan donuts and donut holes, hubby asked the employee if any of the vegan donuts contained nuts. She replied that only the donut topped with pistachios did. The atmosphere in the donut shop was relaxing, and I appreciated how attentive the employee was in answering our questions, quickly gathering the items we wanted: four vegan donuts, an order of vegan donut holes, and a jalapeño cheese danish for hubby. She then quickly rang up our purchases. With not only a large selection of classic and glazed vegan donuts, but also vegan milkshakes and ice cream, I definitely plan to return the next time I'm in the area and craving a sweet vegan treat.

It's fun here cuz you can get a little shopping cart and collect your breads. Kinda went crazy and got a bunch to try. The breads looked like they would be dry but weren't and were all really soft, pillowy, and fluffy. The Black Forest bread was topped with toasted almonds, had jiggly thick sweet custard, and a layer of semi sweet chocolate. The hades bread was the only kinda dry bread and was filled with bittersweet chocolate and had a thin sweet Oreo crust on the bottom like a cheesecake would. The pork floss bread had a swirl of sweet savory pork floss and was topped with nutty crunchy sesame seeds. The banana cream bread was filled with like this cheesecake tasting light cream and had some real bananas inside too. The garlic bread was really good, soft, and had a streak of yummy, savory, garlicy, cheesy goodness. They even had a cilantro pork floss cake?! Wasn't getting any cilantro flaves but the cake was nicely spongy, light, vanillay, and had a swirl of pork floss that actually worked with it. Their black sesame cake was also very spongy, jiggly, light, and airy with good black sesame flaves. They even let you try some free samples of bread which my grandma really enjoyed. Overall this place is pretty good. Black Forest $4.50 Hades $6 Pork floss $5 Banana cream $4.50 Garlic bread $4.50 Cilantro pork floss sponge $5 Black sesame sponge $3.75

That being said, I do believe the quality is one of the best, so worth it if you happen to be in the area and don't mind a bit of a wait. You can see them making the baked goods in the store and the dough is a work of art. There seems to always be some kind of wait and the outside wait is a tad brutal, but there are a bunch of umbrellas you can borrow from the inside, which is a nice gesture from this place. Onto the goods - the chocolate bars are quite steep. Two of these plus a matcha latte and a single chocolate croissant was around $47, so keep that in mind before you stack too much in your cart. The matcha latte was passable in my opinion as well, since the matcha doesn't stand out. A lot of oat milk was used in mine, which diluted most of the matcha. I guess stick to what they are good at. The standout of course is the chocolate croissant. It's quite flaky. Where the surprise comes in is that there seems to be a custard layer inside, along with melted chocolate around the outer parts of the croissant. It's a unique experience and recommend trying while it's hot.

At $20 for a dozen, the donuts are an excellent value, especially given their generous size. Since they're only open in the mornings and tend to sell out quickly, I'd recommend stopping by early. The setup is simple and old-school, with the donuts arranged in a glass display case and orders taken through a small service window off to the side. Street parking is available nearby, making it fairly easy to grab a box to go. During our visit, the owner was incredibly friendly and even surprised us with complimentary donut holes and a croissant, which made for a great first impression. **Cinnamon Crumb Donut: 5/5** This raised donut was incredibly light and fluffy, with a soft, airy interior. A delicate vanilla glaze provided a subtle sweetness, while the buttery, cinnamon-spiced streusel on top brought a warm, aromatic depth to each bite. **Double Trouble: 5/5** True to its name, the Double Trouble delivered an especially indulgent flavor combination. A smooth chocolate icing coated the pillowy donut, lending a cocoa-forward richness, while a second layer of classic glaze added a mellow, sugary finish that rounded out the decadent flavor profile. Given the impressive quality of everything we tried, Monarch Donuts is well worth a visit. With so many options to choose from, I'd gladly return to try some of the other donuts that caught my eye.

Thank you Jonathan for sharing your loving story about your mom and grandmother. I was the only person in line which worked out for me. A few customers arrived shortly after me. All donuts and apple fritters were carefully boxed. I appreciate the special attention and care in the packaging. Thanks! Overall donuts were good, but dough was a bit dense for my taste though. Apple fritters were a great hit! Huge in size. Light in crisp. Tons of apples. Not super sweet which I appreciate it. However, a few of them fell apart when picking them up from the box. I actually don't know how much each donut and apple fritter costs. I didn't ask which was fine. Total bill was about $90+ which wasn't bad at all especially for all the tasty goodness. Highly recommend! Love to return for more tasty apple fritters and cinnamon crumbles. From what I was informed, donuts and all may be sold out before 9:00 AM most of the time so do get here early before they run out. Happy Donut Always!
